Chapter 1 - Chapter 1: Visitor from The Future?

Hey guys, Novaflame6 here again. So... yeah this is another rewrite of one of my older stories. It had a good plot and everything, I just lost inspiration for it. But hopefully some new ideas I have story wise can help me stick with the story until completion. So here you go! This is the rewrite of Hero from the future of another universe; Goku Black's Reincarnation! I'll be changing a few things this time around to make the story flow better and hopefully be more interesting.

Chapter 1: Visitor from the Future?

It was early evening in New York City, and all was at peace for the moment. A blonde haired girl dressed in blue and a red skirt with match boots and a cape was seen flying through the air, making her rounds in a ususal patrol of the city. She was just one part of a team of young heroes known as Young Justice who were patrolling the city.

This girl was known as Supergirl, or Kara Zor El, the cousin of the famous super hero, Superman, who was also a founding member of The Justice League. In this particular instance, what the girl found, surprised her. It was a girl that looked remarkably just like herself! She was seen to be fighting Artemis, the apprentice of Green Arrow.

The girl decided that she would help Artemis, just as a friend ought to. Supergirl rushed in and tackled her lookalike to the ground, freeing Artemis. She turned and looked towards her friend in desparation.

"Run Artemis! Go, alert the others about this- oof!," Supergirl warned her before getting kicked hard in the stomach.

The maiden of steel was sent flying into an abandoned building, courtesy of her lookalike kicking her in the gut. The clone looked towards the archer before Supergirl came out of the rubble in a burst of speed and power the lookalike wasn't expecting. The maiden of steel was able to punch the clone hard in the face, sending the other girl flying away from her.

The battle was seen to be racing towards the river of the bridge they were near. The clone was seen doubling back as she retaliated with the same movements. Both kryptonians then began to exchange blows with each other and appeared to be evenly matched... for awhile at least.

As the battle dragged on however, one thing was clear: Supergirl just didn't have the same amount of stamina that her clone did. The girl was seen to be heavily breathing in exhaustion after just a little while of tusseling with this... lookalike of hers.

"What's.. going on here? I shouldn't be this exhausted already! Something strange is happening to me... why do I suddenly feel so... weak?" Supergirl thought gritting her teeth in frustration.

She was right about that, somehow or another... this clone, lookalike, doppleganger or whatever you wanted to call it was draining her energy; her strength. And the maiden of steel still didn't even know why. Supergirl suddenly found herself being blasted with heat vision through several buildings before she could even mount a proper defense.

The girl noticed the glint of red in her doppleganger's eyes before her eyes widened in realization.

"What the-?! Unh!!," Supergirl grunted in pain.

The glint of red turned into full on twin beams of heat vision that slammed into her, launching her through several buildings. The kryptonian was thrown into a wall, back first as she then crumpled into a heap and unable to move currently.

Artemis, who was watching the fight grew worried for her friend as she watched the clone descend towards the girl. She was going to go help her friend, whether she wanted it or not! Just as the fellow blonde was about to jump in and help her friend, something... rather unexpected happened.

The sky darkened slightly as a dark purple and black portal appeared in the sky above them. Out of the portal, came a figure covered in darkly colored wind. You couldn't see them because of the twister like winds surrounding their person. The only thing you saw was the gleaming red eyes that flashed out of the twister above where they were.

"Kara!",Artemis yelled in concern. "Get out of there! Something bad is coming towards you!"

Before Supergirl could get out of the way the tornado like winds crashed down in front of the clone with yellow colored lightning emanating from it. Next thing the clone knew, a fist had hit her face making the wind disperse as she was sent hurtling away. Artemis looked and saw a dark skinned boy with black hair shaped like a palm tree that defied gravity. The boy had a gray gi on, with a black turtleneck shirt on underneath it, matching pants with a red sash for a belt, white shoes, and he wore a golden yellow and green ear ring on his right ear.

He blasted away and buried his foot in the clone's gut, sending her through another abandoned building as he rocketed away to chase after her. Artemis was seen blinking in surprise at what just happened.

"What... just... happened?" Artemis thought surprised before rushing over to check on Supergirl.

The archer rushed over to her friend to check on her. When she arrived, Kara (Supergirl) was already getting up and out of the rubble that was on top of her. She smiled at her friend, thinking that Artemis was the one who helped her out just now.

"Thanks for the save, Artemis.,"Super girl said thanking her friend.

Artemis smiled but felt a nervous bead of swet run down her face.

"Sure, but uh... would you believe me if I said that I wasn't the one responsible for saving you just now?," Artemis said nervously laughing.

Supergirl was a little confused by this, evidence by the look on her face.

"Huh? What do you mean by that Artemis?," Supergirl asked her confused.

The blonde haired and green clad teen chuckled before answering.

"Just what I said, Kara. I wasn't the one who saved you just now...," Artemis answered.

Kara (Supergirl) was confused again, but was curious now as well.

"Well... If you didn't save me just now, who did?," the kryptonian asked.

Artemis looked towards the sky before she saw something crash into the building away from them. Supergirl followed her friend's line of sight. That.. was when she saw him. The young man with dark colored skin, wild black hair shaped like a palm tree, wearing a lime and golden yellow earring on his right ear. The young man chuckled as he crossed his arms, looking down as if waiting for the smoke from the debris to disperse.

"Really? Is that all you've got? I expected more after all that bravado you were exuding earlier.," The young man said with a chuckle.

Sure enough, the smoke then dispersed as Kara's clone seemed to be furious at the young man floating in the air.

"Argh, just you wait! You'll regret making a fool out of me!," the clone shout at him.

He raised an eybrow before chuckling and laughing. This just made the clone even more angry.

"What's so funny?!," the clone asked upset.

The young man composed himsef before his face turned serious as he glared at her.

"Making a fool out of you? You misunderstand, I never even once considered you to be as naive as a fool would be. You're even lower than that, you bug.,"The man said.

He uncrossed his arms before the clone got angered at his words again. She then sped towards him hoping to hurt him severely... only for her fist to be caught effortlessly by him. She widened her eyes before getting kneed in the gut, harder than she'd ever been hit before. The teen then ignited his ki as a darkly colored aura surrounded him before he grabbed her face.

"Please, you fight like a mere child girl! You honestly think you can defeat me like that? Don't delude yourself! You cannot hope to defeat me simply because you want to so badly.... (kicks her again before zipping behind her and reappaering before her again) You... ARE FAR TOO NAIEVE TO DEFEAT ME ON YOUR OWN, TRY AGAIN IN 100 YEARS!," the man said before performing a rapid series of punches and kicks against her.

This sent the clone flying through the air, but the dark teen wasn't done. He chased after her as he then cupped his hands by his side beginning to chant a certain famous phrase:

"KAAAA..."

Super girl's eyes widened upon seeing the fight, she'd never met anyone like this.

"MEEEEE..."

The clone was still reeling from all of the blows she'd just receieved. How... how'd it come to this? and who was this young man?

"HAAAA...."

Artemis and supergirl's eyes widened as they noticed a growing orb of black and purple light expanding in between his hands.

Kara looked towards Artemis.

"You don't think he'd really-?," She trailed off.

"MEEEE...."

Aremis gained a rather worried expression due to what she felt was coming.

"He might. Brace yourself, Kara!," Artemis warned.

Supergirl did as instructed before the dark teen thrust his hands forward as he let loose a war cry.

"HAAA!!!!!!!!!"

The black and purple orb then morphed into an enormous beam of light that not only washed over the clone of supergirl, it pushed her into the river and then exploded, sending water skyward before it came crashing back down. The dark teen then hovered back down towards the ground, brushing off his clothes as if that whole fight did nothing more than get his clothes a little dusty.

"Heh, It's about 100 years too early for an imitation of someone else to beat me. Know your place, you mere copy!," the dark teen said chuckling.

Supergirl's eyes were still wide as saucers.

"Who... is he? I've never seen anyone like him before... nor anyone with power like that..," Supergirl thought.

Artemis seemed to be deep in thought as she considered something.

"Hmm... I wonder.. That black aura.. Whenever he was surrounded by it, he seemed to get stronger.," Artemis thought aloud.

Kara then looked at her friend confused.

"Wait, Black Aura?," she asked confused.

Artemis nodded.

"Yeah, you remember, don't you Kara? When he crossed his arms and yelled, that black aura surrounded him.," Artemis said, reminding her.

Supergirl nodded in recognition of that fact.

"Ah, yeah now I remember. What was up with that anyways?," Supergirl replied i question.

Artemis shook her head and shrugged.

"Not sure, that's what i'd like to know too.," Artemis said with a shrug.

The aforementioned dark teen was then seen walking up to the two girls. He simply wanted to check and see if they were alright.

"Are the two of you okay? Sorry about all of that.. I can.. get carried away in the heat of battle.," the young man asked them.

Supergirl could feel the heat come to her face upon his concern for her safety.

"Y-Yes t-thank you um...,"Supergirl replied stammering before pausing due to not knowing his name.

The teen smiled before he responded.

"Oh, do forgive me. My name is Eleryc.," the teen replied.

"Eleryc, huh? It's nice to meet you then, Eleryc.," supergirl responded.

He then looked to her before speaking.

"What about you then? I don't believe I know your name.," Eleryc asked.

"Oh, me?" Supergirl asked before clearing her throat.

Eleryc nodded.

"Oh s-sorry! My name is Kara Kent... But my real name is Kara zor El, however people here just call me Supergirl.," Supergirl replied.

The saiyan nodded before smiling back at her.

"Supergirl, huh? Well, it's nice to meet you.," the saiyan teen replied.

Supergirl nodded as well before the two of them shook hands, Artemis smirking in the background as she watched the two of them. The archer then asked if Eleryc had a place to stay currently, to which he said that he did not.

That would simply not do. Artemis then determined that it'd be best if Eleryc came to stay with them and their other friends. She suggested this so 1: he had a place to stay and 2: They'd be able to figure out what to do with him in the meantime. The dark saiyan teen simply followed them instead of resisting, which impressed the girls that he was being so cooperative.

He had more than enough power and strength to overwhelm them without much of an effort, yet he chose to willingly follow them without any argument. Both Kara and Artemis felt that Eleryc hadn't even shown them anywhere close to the full extent of his power. He was obviously keeping most of it under wraps, just in case for emergencies. The blonde haired Kryptonian did wonder where this teen came from, but she figured that she could always find that out later on. The trio continued on in silence as they made their way back towards the headquarters for the Young Justice League.

Elsewhere with the rest of The Young Justice League....

Robin was the first to arrive at the scene as he and the rest of the young justice league saw the purple light from the fight near Manhattan bridge light up the sky previously. Raven, a girl shrouded in mystery with a darkly colored cloak then arrived soon after. She spotted Robin near the river bank and raised an eyebrow. Curious she hovered over towards the teen to check and see what the boy was doing.

"Looking at something, Robin?," the girl asked.

Robin turned and slightly jumped before calming down upon seeing that it was Raven.

"Ah! Oh it's just you Raven, you kinda scared me there..," Robin said.

There was an awkward pause before the girl spoke again.

"So.... what are you looking at?," She asked.

"I'm.. not sure exactly. Though... (Motions towards the unconscious girl down at the riverbank) she does look like supergirl, doesn't she?," Robin said.

Raven nodded as the duo turned to see Superboy, Miss Martian, Nightwing, Starfire, Speedy (Red Arrow), Bumblebee, Zatana, and Aqualad all arrive just moments later. They gathered around Robin and Raven as the group of heroes then looked towards the girl near the edge of the river. She was beaten and bruised, like she was in fight with someone recently. And were those.. burn marks on the edges of her shirt and on her arms? Starfire was the first to speak as she walked forward a couple of steps before stopping.

"What do you think happened to her, Nightwing?," Starfire asked.

He shook his head and shrugged.

"I honestly have no idea, Star. I wish I knew.," Nightwing said.

Another voice then sounded as it was revealed to be Beast Boy who had joined the group.

"Well... what do you think we should do with her then?," Beast Boy asked.

Raven then spoke.

"Probably would be best just to leave her here, but... we can at least pull her out of the water.. right?," Raven suggested.

The other teens nodded before pulling the girl out of the water and setting her in a place where the justice league could find her. Robin then radioed Batman.

"Robin to Batman, come in.," Robin said on the intercom in his right ear.

It took a second, but eventually the caped crusader answered on the other line.

"Copy Robin. What's your situation?," Batman asked.

"We're fine Bats, but uh.. we found something I feel like the league needs to look at.," Robin answered.

"What is it?"He asked.

"It's... a girl. But she looks just like Supergirl weirdly enough, and she's pretty beat up. Like she was fighting someone not that long ago and lost badly. "Robin said back.

Batman sounded like he voiced a grunt of approval on the other end.

"Good thinking. I'll have the league pop over there and take a look at her for you.,"Batman said.

The group of teens all nodded in agreement with this as they cleaned up the blood from her injuries before leaving her where the Justice league would be able to find the girl. They couldn't help but to wonder what the dark colored beam in the sky earlier was about though... They left from there and continued onward towards their base, Mount Justice, which was the headquarters of the Young Justice League. As they headed back though, they had a rather interesting encounter. Along the way, they saw a Young man, probably in his twenties with black and palm tree shaped hair. He had matching eyes and wore an orange gi with a cyan blue belt at the waist, matching pants, cyan blue boots, and blue wristbands. It also had the kanji lettering for "Kame" or "turtle" emblazoned upon the back of it.

A/N: Basically Goku's Ressurrection F movie outfit

The young man stood between a giant stone block like being and an innocent civilian girl who was scared out of her mind right now. He looked towards the young girl and smiled towards her.

"It's going to be okay, miss. You have nothing to worry about. Let me just take care of this guy, real quick.," The man said.

The girl could only nod in agreement as she was far too scared to move at the moment.

The man put a pair of fingers to his forehead as he teleported behind the villain. This stone block like villain was known as Cynder Block. He was about to crush the civilian girl when the young man in the orange gi swiftly kicked him in the back, sending him forward. Quickly zipping in front of him, the man then hammered the villain in the gut, causing him to double over in pain. Starfire then made her way to the front of the teens watching the young man fight Cynder Block. The man began to outflank the villain by overwhelming him with his speed, while deluvering very powerful and precise blows. Cynder Block began to feel tired, this was due to not being able to keep up with his opponent. He just couldn't react fast enough. Every time he tried to hit the man, he'd be hit back much harder. Before he knew it, he was launched into the air by a powerful kick from the man. He couldn't move due to how much pain he was in due to his opponent's earlier blows. The young fighter then began to chant something as he cupped his hands by his side.

"Ka... Me....."

Blue light began to pool between his hands as it soon became blinding.

"Ha..... Me....."

The stone block villain fell as his eyes then widened upon seeing his opponent thrust his hands forward.

"HAAAAAA!!!!!", the man yelled.

As he yelled, the blue light became an eneormous beam of light that slammed into the villain. He couldn't block it and was subjected to excrucisting and searing hot pain as the beam washed over him before launching him far away from the area. The man in the orange gi then was seen to have a clear white aura blazing around him before he panted and collapsed onto a knee. He stood on a knee for a moment before falling over as he slipped into unconsciousness. Starfire rushed over and caught him, just before he hit the ground.

"What she we do with this guy?", Robin (Damien Wayne) asked.

Raven then spoke.

"Under the circumstances.. I think it'd be best if we asked him questions relating to who he is after he's awake.," Raven said.

Nightwing nodded.

"Good Idea, Raven. Let's take him back to Mount Justice first.," Nightwing suggested.

The group nodded before picking up the man. This young man was none other than Son Go-ten, the second son of the legendary Son Goku. Somehow or another, he'd been sent to this universe by Beerus, the God of Destruction of Universe 7 before it was ultimately destroyed. (A/N: This is an alternate reality of Universe 7 and the tourney of Power, not the one we know lol) Gotenhad lost everything though, his brother, Gohan, His sister in Law, Videl, his mother, chichi, all of his friends, including Trunks, Bulla, Vegeta, Piccolo, and... even his father, Goku. He wasn't sure if his niece, Pan, was still alive or not. Everyone he knew and loved were gone... in an instant. They were erased by Zeno, the king of all when Universe 7 lost in the final bout of the Tournament of Power vs Universe 11's Jiren the Grey. Beerus and his teacher, Whis, had introduced Goten to God Ki, as they did with his father Goku. Goten had only recently mastered the power of Super Saiyan God and had just begun to tap into Super Saiyan Blue, along with his own unique transformation that'd come through his own training.

He was going to ask his father for training when Beerus and Whis spared him and promptly sent him to another universe. Due to the effects of crossing dimensions, he guessed that his blood had changed to become that of a pureblooded saiyajin now. He was in his early 20's now, probably around 22 or 23 years old. He'd be in for quite the greeting when he awoke.

Eslewhere....

A portal opened up in the sky over another part of the city as a trio of figures appeared. The first one had blue skin, red eyes, and wore saiyan like armor with black and red mixed into its color schemes. He also had two black horns protruding from both sides of his head, he had silver colored bio armor that was a bit jagged near his tail. This was Zero, a good friend and partner of the two saiyans beside him. The saiyan in front had a blue gi on with a black undershirt, brown pants, with blue boots. He had peach colored skin, with black spiky hair and a brown monkey tail wrapped around his waist. This was the time patroller, Tarro. Next to him was his brother, Daikon. Daikon wore a black jacket with a red undershirt, gray pants, a blue belt, gray boots, a sword strapped and sheathed to his back. His attire went well with his black hair and eyes.

"Seems we finally made it.," Daikon pointed out.

Tarro nodded.

"Indeed we have, Daikon, Zero.," Tarro said.

Zero spoke voicing his curiosity about something.

"What I'd like to know is.. Why does it feel like there are Saiyajins in this time period? And.. there's not just one or two.. there's so many of them!," Zero pointed out.

Tarro thought about this.

"Yes, that is rather odd. ," Tarro agreed.

Daikon then voiced his opinion on the matter.

"Then.. shouldn't we return them to their own timelines?," Daikon suggested.

Tarro shook his head.

"Negative, Daikon. We don't have enough info to act on that yet. ," Tarro answered.

Daikon raised a confused eyebrow, it made perfect sense to him. So why couldn't they do that?

"Huh? Why not?," Daikon asked confused.

Tarro sighed before answering.

"Obviously because we do not yet know what circumstances have brought them to this timeline and why they're here. It would be very ill advised to act without knowing that much at least.," Tarro reasoned.

Zero nodded in agreement.

"Tarro does have a point there, Daikon. T'would not be wise to just assume things without knowing the full story first.," zero said.

Daikon sighed in frustration. He knew he couldn't win an argument with these two and.. that they were right of course. Still... he'd hoped, just this once they'd listen to him.

"Fine.. But, where should we start? This city's huge.. not to mention this planet we've found ourselves on.," Daikon reluctantly admitted.

Tarro thought about that for a moment before answering a few moments later.

"We can start by observing and gathering information.," Tarro said.

"Gathering info and observing?," Daikon asked confused.

Zero spoke up this time, providing an explanation behind Tarro's reasoning.

"It would be the most effective way to get the full story, wouldn't it?,"Zero answered.

Daikon sighed and then nodded.

"Yeah... I.. suppose you're right, as usual about that.," Daikon admitted.

Now that all of them had agreed on their next course of action, the trio then nodded towards each other before descending towards the ground.

Daikon went towards Coastal city to do some investigating, while Zero headed off towards another part of the planet. That left Tarro to go and investigate Metropolis, arguably one of the bigger cities they'd seen so far on this planet. The trio had agreed to meet back up together and report their findings once they'd conducted a thorough investigation. Though, he didn't know for what reason the saiyans had chosen this particular timeline as their home, Tarro was determined to get to the bottom of it no matter what.

Meanwhile with a certain apprentice of Aquaman...

A dark skinned teen came to a clearing as he walked with his friends and teammates. He put a hand up, signaling that he wanted to check on something.

"Something the matter, Aqualad?," Robin asked him.

The dark teen shook his head and smiled at the boy genius.

"No, at least I don't believe so Robin. There's.. just something I'd like to check on. Can you let the others know that i'll meet them back at the base?," Aqualad asked.

Robin smiled before nodding and fist bumping the Atlantean.

"Sure thing. Try not to take too long though, alright?," Robin said waving to him as he walked off.

Aqualad nodded and smiled as he waved back.

"Don't worry, I won't be long.," He replied.

This teen was the apprentice of the famed Aquaman named Aqualad, or Kaldh'ur as his friends knew him by. Walking up to the clearing, he came across a young girl. This girl appeared to be not all that much younger than he was. She was in her late teens with beautiful black hair, a red gi with a black undershirt, red pants with redish orange shoes, a matching belt around her waist, and blue wristbands around her wrists. He took a long look at the unconscious girl, she was young yet... probably around 16 or 17 if he had to guess, so not all that much younger than himself. Still, he wondered what this young woman was doing here or rather... how'd she get here? He sighed at himself.

"I can worry about how she ended up here later. It would be rude to just leave her here with those injuries.," Aqua lad thought.

He bent down and carefully lifted the young woman into his arms. She laid limp, but he could tell she was still breathing. That was a good sign. It meant she was merely unconscious at the moment, nothing some healing from one of his magically gifted comrades wouldn't fix though. With that in mind, he began the walk back to young justice headquarters, intent on meeting up with the rest of his comrades.

Back with Supergirl, Artemis, and Eleryc...

The two blonde heriones arrived back at Mount Justice, the headquarters of the Young Justice league. Supergirl turned towards the young saiyan and spoke up.

"Welcome to Mount Justice, the young justice league's hq.," She said.

Eleryc observed the place briefly. He seemed to have a hint of a fond smile on his face when observing it.

"Well, well, it's even more impressive then I remember it being.," Eleryc remarked.

Supergirl scowled at him upon hearing that comment.

"You've seen it before? When? Cause I sure don't remember ever seeing you before..,"Supergirl said already suspicious of their new guest.

Artemis chuckled and spoke up.

"Easy, Supergirl. He's new here. Let's at least give him the benefit of the doubt.," Artemis said placating her friend.

she looked towards him before continuing.

"Anyways, Eleryc right?," She asked.

The young man nodded in response urging her to continue.

"I'm curious... what did you mean by what you said just now?," Artemis asked curiously.

"Ah, I guess I should've explained that earlier huh? Well, no time like the present I suppose.", Eleryc said before continuing.

Supergirl raised a curious eyebrow at this, her interest now peaked.

He continued.

"I suppose I should start by telling you this: The time I came here from was far darker than this reality is.," Eleryc said.

Artemis gulped as she was a little scared by what the implication of Eleryc was saying could potentially mean. And since she wanted to know as well, Supergirl decided to ask the obvious question.

"Are you suggesting that... you came from.. THE FUTURE?!," Supergirl asked.

Eleryc nodded.

"Some 20 years into the future actually.," Eleryc replied.

Artemis looked like she was deep in thought before she then asked the young man a question that'd been plaguing her mind since the beginning of their current conversation.

"Okay so suppose we do believe you and it turns out that you really are from 20 years into the future... What's your time like then? What's the world like?," Artemis asked.

Supergirl was also curious, soshe listened intently.

There was a very noticeable scowl that appeared on the young man's face as he grit his teeth in slight anger while curling his hands into fists before calming down. He sighed before continuing.

"Simply put: A litteral Nightmare.," Eleryc responded.

Supergirl looked at him quizically due to his answer.

"What do you mean by that?," The kryptonian asked curiously.

Eleryc looked towards the young hero before responding to her question.

"A world of Death. All of the male heroes are dead, including all of the founding justice league members. With them gone there's no one left to stop the world's destruction. Even the Destroyer God, the guardian of Earth was killed.," Eleryc replied.

The two young women widened their eyes at this revelation. That meant... in his world, EVERYONE, including Superman and Batman were.. gone. But.. How, how could that be?

"So... in other words, you came here to stop that from happening right?," Supergirl asked.

Eleryc nodded.

"Also... there's something else too..," He continued.

Eleryc's voice grew heavy as he prepared to reveal the full truth.

Supergirl and Artemis exchanged concerned glances before giving him their undivided attention.

"In my timeline," Eleryc continued, his eyes darkening with painful memories, "the Amazons were manipulated by malevolent deities—gods with ancient grudges against mankind. These entities whispered lies and half-truths, playing on old wounds and stoking fears until the Amazons became convinced that the male heroes posed an existential threat to them and to the world."

Artemis inhaled sharply. As someone with connections to the Amazonian culture, this revelation struck particularly close to home.

"You can't be serious," she said, her voice barely above a whisper. "The Amazons would never..."

"Under normal circumstances, no," Eleryc agreed. "But these weren't normal circumstances. The deities clouded their judgment, twisted their perceptions. They made the Amazons believe they were acting to save the world, not destroy it."

"So the Amazons..." Supergirl began, unable to complete the terrible thought.

Eleryc nodded grimly. "They launched a coordinated attack across the globe. The male heroes never saw it coming—not from their allies, not from warriors they'd fought alongside for years. Superman, Batman, Flash, Green Lantern, Aquaman... all of them fell within a single night."

He paused, letting the horror of his words sink in.

"With Earth's greatest defenders gone, there was no unified force left to protect the planet. The villains seized their opportunity, forming alliances of convenience. Governments collapsed. Cities burned." His voice dropped lower. "And the deities who had orchestrated it all revealed their true purpose—not to elevate the Amazons, but to clear the path for their own conquest."

"And Wonder Woman?" Artemis asked. "Diana would never have allowed—"

"By the time she realized the truth, it was too late," Eleryc cut in. "She tried to rally what remained of the Justice League—the women who had been spared in the initial purge—but without their full strength, they couldn't stand against the combined threat. One by one, they fell too."

Supergirl's fists clenched at her sides. "That can't happen here. We won't let it."

"That's why I came back," Eleryc said. "To prevent this future from ever occurring. But I didn't come alone."

"You mentioned others?" Artemis prompted.

"My sister, Cassa, and several allies who survived the final days. We developed a plan to return to this specific point in time—the critical juncture before everything began to unravel." His expression clouded with concern. "But when I passed through the time portal, something went wrong. There was... interference. An energy signature I didn't recognize. When I emerged here, I was alone."

"So your sister and these other allies... they could be anywhere?" Supergirl asked.

"Or anywhen," Eleryc corrected. "The temporal displacement might have scattered them across different points in the timeline. Or they might be here, just separated geographically." He sighed heavily. "Finding them has to be my first priority. Without their knowledge, without their skills, I might not be able to identify the exact moment when the corruption of the Amazons begins."

Artemis placed a reassuring hand on his shoulder. "You're not alone anymore. Young Justice will help you."

"We need to tell the others," Supergirl said decisively. "If what you're saying is true—and after seeing you fight, I'm inclined to believe it is—this threatens everything we've sworn to protect."

Eleryc nodded gratefully. "Thank you. But we need to proceed with caution. If the deities who orchestrated this in my timeline learn of my presence, they might accelerate their plans. Or worse, they might target those I care about before they can help us."

"Which means we need to find your sister and the others quickly," Artemis concluded. "Do you have any way to track them?"

"Cassa and I share a unique energy signature—what my people call ki. If she's using her power, I should be able to sense her." His expression grew thoughtful. "Actually, now that I think about it, I did feel several unusual energy signatures when I arrived. One of them might have been her, but there were others I didn't recognize."

"Others like you?" Supergirl questioned.

"Possibly. Or..." His eyes narrowed. "The timeline might already be changing in ways I didn't anticipate. My presence here alone could be causing ripples in the fabric of reality."

The weight of his revelation hung in the air between them. A future where trusted allies became unwitting executioners, where Earth's mightiest heroes fell not to supervillains but to their own friends, where humanity itself teetered on the brink of extinction—it was almost too much to comprehend.

And yet, standing before them was living proof of this grim possibility: a warrior from a ruined world, carrying the burden of a timeline that must never come to pass.

"We should contact the others," Artemis suggested, breaking the silence. "If your sister and friends are out there, Young Justice can help find them."

Eleryc nodded, though his expression remained troubled. "Just remember—we don't know who might be watching or listening. The deities who corrupted the Amazons in my timeline were subtle manipulators. They worked from the shadows for years before revealing themselves."

"Then we'll be careful," Supergirl assured him. "But we won't stand by and let your future become our present. Whatever it takes, we'll stop it."

For the first time since his arrival, a genuine smile crossed Eleryc's face. "In my time, they spoke of the legendary Supergirl's determination. I see those stories didn't exaggerate."

A slight blush colored Kara's cheeks at the unexpected compliment, but she quickly composed herself. "Let's head inside. The others should be returning soon, and we have a lot to discuss."

As they made their way deeper into Mount Justice, none of them noticed the small, dark shadow that detached itself from a nearby rock formation and slithered away—a silent observer carrying crucial intelligence to masters who remained hidden, for now.

The battle for this timeline's future had begun, and its first moves were already being played out across a board far larger than any of them yet realized.
