Chapter 2 - Chapter 2 Persuasion

(Two hours later in the human world).

Marcial: "Representatives from the powerful human cartels will be arriving later today to engage in high-stakes negotiations, making it crucial for us to secure favorable deals."

He gazes at the two newcomers, Klaudia and Mochizuki, his mind lingering on the conversation he had with Klaudia earlier, wondering why Mochizuki was the only one to showcase his skills while Klaudia remained humble.

Mochizuki: "Hey if it's alright I have to bounce i have to go back to Orbxico."

He gazes at the boss of the Cártel de Reyes y Reinas, still holding onto the injured teenage boy he had rescued just a few hours ago.

Marcial: "Go but the girl stays."

He gazes calmly at Mochizuki, but his expression changes as he looks at the young woman beside him.

Klaudia: "Mochizuki you should take that injured boy to the hospital immediately. It's not only morally wrong but also potentially life-threatening to leave someone in need of medical attention untreated."

She looks over at Mochizuki, who's carefully cradling the injured teenage boy in his arms.

Adriana: "Hehehe that teenage boy belongs to a woman named Anastasia. That's her slave."

A sly, envious smile spreads across her face as she can't help but think that her life would be different if only she had met that boy first.

Mochizuki: "You think she'll going to come and get him?"

He gazes at Adriana with curiosity.

Adriana: "What do you think?"

She gazes at him with a twisted, enigmatic smile, her eyes glinting with a hint of mischief and mayhem.

Mochizuki: "I'll just keep him by my side for now so see you guys later."

(At Orbxico in Middle Corporation in the laboratory).

The TV was currently tuned to a news channel featuring a man named Andrey Bate, an Orb who had chosen to live in the human world. He was discussing the intricacies of human women's roles and responsibilities.

Akane: "That man is so horrible."

She turns off the TV and looks back at her boss, who's currently testing a mixture of chemicals in a lab beaker, the purpose of the experiment unknown.

Akane: "Boss, I'm heading off for tonight as my father is feeling unwell and I need to be with him."

She regards him calmly, her expression serene, as she finishes checking out.

Ashton: "That's fine."

He whispers it softly to himself while carefully drawing the mysterious, amber-colored liquid into the syringe.

Akane left the room, leaving her boss Ashton behind to continue his mysterious work. Although she was aware that Ashton was trying to cure Orbilence, she had no idea what other experiments he was conducting, and the question lingered: who was receiving the injections?

Ashton: "..."

He stepped into the backroom that was locked away, where hundreds of children were imprisoned in cages, their tiny bodies contorted in unnatural positions, some having transformed into grotesque, zombie-like creatures with sunken eyes and grayish skin, Ashton believed that these abominations were the result of the failed cure from the Orbilence. He injects the amber-colored liquid into one of the children and observes as they transform into a flesh-eating zombie. He is uncertain whether this is a potential cure for the Orbilence or a failed experiment, leaving him torn. Notably, he exhibits no remorse for his actions and appears unfazed by the outcome.

The Black Figure: "Another failed experiment I see."

He suddenly appears right behind Ashton, and his eyes were unfazed as he takes in the gruesome scene before him: blood is splattered all over the walls, ceiling, and even the cages that hold the failed experiments.

Ashton: "Who are you?"

He glanced back, his eyes catching a glimpse of a shadowy figure hovering in the air, its dark form eerily silhouetted against the surrounding light, yet he remained unfazed by the shadow's unsettling appearance.

The Black Figure: "A member from the Cártel de Reyes y Reinas, who is also part of my group, will be visiting you to extend an invitation to join our group."

He stays shrouded in the darkness, his eyes fixed intently on the man in the gas mask, whose blood-soaked face is a ghastly sight to behold.

Ashton: "I'll pass. I should be focusing on the Orbilence. The Orbilence can't cure itself."

The dark green energy begins to absorb the bloodstains from his clothing, slowly erasing the crimson marks from the fabric. His eyes, visible behind the transparent lenses of the gas mask, undergo a transformation, shifting from a bright, vibrant green to a deep, foreboding dark green. The dark green energy dissipated as diseases spread through the air, unseen.

The Black Figure: "..."

He moves slightly as a black line appears right at the edge of the darkness, trapping Ashton's shadow and forcing him to remain perfectly still, his body frozen in anticipation.

Ashton: "A shadow Orb. I've never seen one before..."

He says it calmly while looking directly at the shadow figure, his eyes fixed on the mysterious entity. He felt a surge of intrigue about his discovery, as Shadow Orbs are supposedly nonexistent, and now he can't help but wonder if there could be more than one.

The Black Figure: "It clearly you don't want to join but pretty sure Mochizuki would persuade you."

He vanishes into the darkness, consumed by an inky blackness that seems to swallow him whole.

Ashton: "Mochizuki?"

He heard a loud, jarring noise in the background, and as he turned to see what it was, he caught sight of a teenage boy with spiky black hair, piercing golden eyes, and a bold punk outfit complete with ripped jeans, a black leather jacket, and a silver-studded belt.

Mochizuki: "I'm assuming you're Ashton?"

He looks at him calmly while carefully cradling the injured teenage boy in his arms, his expression a picture of concern and compassion.

(In his mind).

"I don't know why I'm taking him with me and especially to this place."

He looks around, his eyes widening in horror, as he takes in the gruesome scene before him: zombified children are trapped in cages, the walls and ceiling splattered with blood stains. The sight is extremely disturbing.

"For some reason I believe the Black Figure was here first."

(Out of his mind).

Ashton: "I'm assuming you're Mochizuki."

He states it calmly, his voice steady, while looking directly at the teenage boy.

Mochizuki: "What do you think, Bro."

He gives him a piercing glare, thinking that the black figure must have arrived first, and if that's true, then the black figure has failed to persuade him.

Ashton: "Judging by your lack of respect, I'm going to take a guess that you're Mochizuki. I've already declined the black figure's offer, so you're free to leave."

Mochizuki: "I'm not asking, Bro!"

He unleashes his black flames, attempting to intimidate the man, but to his surprise, the man in the gas mask remains unfazed. This reaction is unnerving, as he's accustomed to people cowering in fear and fleeing in terror. The man's nonchalant demeanor is unsettling, and he can't help but wonder what's behind his unusual composure. He gently lays the injured teenage boy down, his eyes locking onto Ashton as he prepares to defend himself against the impending attack.

Kaien: "..."

He was completely unconscious, oblivious to the impending battle that was about to erupt around him.

Ashton: "You're not going to win."

With lightning speed, he unleashes the full fury of his diseases, rendering Mochizuki instantly paralyzed. As Mochizuki lies helpless, Mochizuki glares at him with an unnerving intensity as Ashton pulls out a syringe filled with a mysterious, ominous-looking liquid.

Mochizuki: "..."

(In his mind).

"What the hell just happened? He just paralyzed me in an instant."

He looks up slightly, his gaze drawn to Ashton's hand, which is holding a syringe filled with an ominous, unknown liquid. He tries to move, but his body is frozen in place, paralyzed by something unknown. His eyes widen in terror as he stares at the needle, its sharp point glinting menacingly in the light.

"Fuck, fuck, fuck move damnit!"

(Out of his mind).

Ashton: "Don't be afraid I have the cure."

He looks at Mochizuki, but his attention is quickly diverted to the injured teenage boy, who gently places his hand on Mochizuki's back. His eyes widen slightly as he notices Mochizuki's body start to stir, seemingly responding to the boy's touch.

Mochizuki: "I'm not even sure how I'm managing to move, but I'm determined to take you with me!"

With a fierce determination burning within, he unleashes his black flames and charges forward without hesitation, driven by a deep-seated desire for revenge against his adversary. His eyes undergo a striking transformation, shifting from a warm gold to a dark, foreboding black. Ashton swiftly dodges the black flames, his curiosity piqued by the injured teenage boy who lies paralyzed, a victim of the very diseases Ashton's powers create, which are notoriously impossible to escape.

Ashton: "..."

(In his mind).

"That boy somehow managed to extract my disease from Mochizuki, which suggests that he possesses a remarkable healing ability. If that's the case, it could be a game-changer in my quest to find a cure for the Orbilence. I shall take him."

(Out of his mind).

With effortless agility, he dodged the black flames every time Mochizuki unleashed his power, his movements a testament to his superior skill. He couldn't help but feel that Mochizuki was still at the nascent stages of mastering his abilities, unaware of the true depths of his own power. As he closed in on the injured teenage boy, his intentions became clear: he was about to grab him, his movements swift and deliberate.

Mochizuki: "..."

(In his mind).

"What could be his motive for chasing after him?"

(Out of his mind).

He swiftly encircled the injured teenage boy with a ring of black flames, which surprisingly did not cause him any harm, but instead served as a protective barrier against the ominous man in a gas mask.

Mochizuki: "Don't you dare touch him!"

As black flames engulfed his body, he let out a menacing growl directed at him.

Ashton: "Question is that boy a member of your group?"

He regards him calmly, his expression unwavering and serene.

Anastasia: "No he's not, he's my slave!"

She appears right between Ashton and Mochizuki, a twisted smile spreading across her face as she materializes seemingly out of nowhere. Ashton remains unfazed by her sudden appearance, while Mochizuki's eyes widen in shock, his senses still reeling from not detecting her approach. Anastasia is an exceptionally tall woman, standing at an impressive seven feet, with long, fiery red hair that cascades down her back. Her eyes are a deep, rich purplish red, adding an air of mystery to her already striking features. She was dressed in a stunning long red gown that perfectly complemented her hair, paired with sleek red heels that added a touch of sophistication to her overall appearance.

(Flashback).

(At Orbxico in the dark alleyway).

Anastasia: "My slave is somewhere near by."

She senses Kaien's distinct energy signature, which is currently emanating from the Middle Corporation, a specialized police department located within the jurisdiction of Orbxico. She recalls sending Kaien to a man residing in Orbxico, where he was supposed to assist him with various tasks.

(End of Flashback).

Anastasia: "Why do you have my slave?"

She gazed at the two young men, but realizing they were locked in a fierce battle, probably over Kaien, she quickly shifted her attention.

Mochizuki: "So you're Anastasia."

He recalls Adriana having a conversation about Anastasia, specifically mentioning that she was planning to come and get Kaien.

Kaien: "Let her take me..."

He says it weakly, still reeling from the paralysis that set in after he contracted the disease from Mochizuki, a consequence of using his healing powers to save Mochizuki's life.

Mochizuki: "You're the one who helped me..."

He recalls breaking free from the debilitating disease that had paralyzed him, but also distinctly remembers someone making physical contact with him, raising the possibility that this person somehow took the disease away from him. He quickly wraps his arms around the injured teenage boy, holding him securely as he shifts his gaze to Anastasia to a mixture of shock and disgust as he realizes that Anastasia is a malevolent person who needs to be dealt with.

Anastasia: "So you're planning on taking my slave? He's just a sex slave and nothing more. You don't want him."

She glares at him with an intense, piercing gaze while gathering a mere five percent of her energy, which she carefully focuses to form razor-sharp, crimson-hued blades that seem to shimmer with an inner light.

Ashton: "..."

He decided to activate a device he had created for a buyer, pressing a button that sent intruders fleeing from his laboratory. The device was designed to teleport everyone away from the area, and judging by the sudden emptiness, it had worked as intended.

Ashton: "That worked time to clean up the mess."

He glances over at the blood-stained floor, the memory of the injured teenage boy from earlier still fresh in his mind, and he can't help but feel a strong, lingering desire for him.

(At the forest in Orbpan).

Anastasia: "..."

(In her mind).

"So that freak in the gas mask sent me to a different location away from that boy who's holding my slave."

As she pulls out her cellphone to check the notification, her eyes widen in alarm at the message from her kingdom. The words 'Orbran under attack by Orbussia' flash on the screen, and her grip on the phone tightens with a surge of anger and concern. She knows that Dark Orb King has long coveted her land, and now it seems he has made his move. Her mind racing with strategies and defense plans, her main focus shifts to protecting her kingdom at all costs.

"I guess that piece of shit could have my slave for now."

(Out of her mind).

She instantly teleports to Orbran, expending ten percent of her energy in the process.

(At the underworld facility).

The Black Figure: "It seems that Mochizuki, failed into persuading, Ashton or maybe something must've happened."

He glances discreetly over at Takumi, his eyes lingering briefly on his comrade's face while he remains shrouded in the darkness.

Takumi: "If you truly believe that this guy, Ashton should be a part of our group then I'll go."

With a calm and collected demeanor, he utters the words as he steps through the shimmering portal that leads to the realm of Orbxico.

(At Orbxico in the forest).

Holding on to the injured teenage boy tightly as he gazes at him with deep concern, the fear of losing him etched on his face.

Mochizuki: "That bitch is gone. So I guess it is time to get you to the hospital."

*He whispers softly as he gazes at him with a gentle expression.*

Kaien: "No one is going to heal me these wounds can't vanish until the two months are up. My name is Kaien by the way."

He says it softly, his voice barely above a whisper.

Mochizuki: "I'm Mochizuki."

He smiles at him as he recalls the woman and wonders why she hasn't caught up with them yet, also remembering how she had arrived so quickly and unexpectedly.

Kaien: "It's nice to meet you... Thank you for saving me."

He speaks softly, his voice barely above a whisper, as a gentle smile spreads across his face, his eyes crinkling at the corners as he gazes at him. However deep down, he's only expressing gratitude towards Mochizuki because he saved him from that unknown battle, but he doesn't feel the same way towards Anastasia, who is more powerful than Mochizuki. The thought of her sends a chill down his spine, and he can't shake off the feeling that she'll come for him eventually.

Mochizuki: "Let's take you somewhere safe."

He flashes a gentle smile at Kaien as he scoops him up into a bridal-style carry, and though Kaien's cheeks flush slightly with embarrassment, he quickly brushes it off, knowing he needs to get to a safe location. Mochizuki notices the faintest blush spreading across Kaien's face as he becomes slightly flustered, unable to shake the thought that he's rather endearing, but there's no time to indulge in such thoughts since he needs to take Kaien to a safe location.

(In his mind).

"Pretty sure Klaudia will handle it on her own for a while."

(Out of his mind).

(At the alleyway).

She gazes up at the sky, lost in thought as memories of her encounter with Kiyozawa flood her mind.

Hiromi: "..."

(Flashback).

Kiyozawa: "You're not a real police officer, you only care about protecting the God Orbs and not the Demonic Orbs!"

With a swift motion, he spreads his long, sleek black wings to shield himself from the fierce gusts of wind, their powerful blasts threatening to knock him off balance.

Her eyes widen in surprise after hearing those words from an enemy, and she can't help but wonder why he would say something like that, especially since the tone of his voice sounds hurt and laced with a deep emotional pain.

Hiromi: "Regardless of whether you're a Demonic Orb or not, if you're in danger, I'll help. I care equally for Demonic and God Orbs."

She looks at him with a serious expression, her eyes locked on his, showing him that what she said is indeed true.

Kiyozawa: "I don't believe you."

He begins to soar through the air, his majestic black wings beating powerful and slow as he takes to the sky, the dark feathers a striking symbol of his angelic nature.

(End of Flashback).

Hiromi: "..."

(In her mind).

"I have to get this guy out of my head."

Deep down, she knows it's true that the police force prioritizes protecting the God Orbs over the Demonic Orbs, but she can't help but think she'll be the one to change that and protect everyone.

"I need to show him, but I also need to stop him."

(Out of her mind).

Hayden: "The Holy Corporation claims they will take care of the Gyakusatsu no Tenshi, also known as Angels Of Slaughter."

He instantly heals his self-inflicted wound and appears right next to Hiromi.

Hiromi: "Why did that Yakuza say the police don't care about the Demonic Orbs? Shouldn't we, as police officers, be fighting for justice for everyone?"

With curiosity, she gazes at him, puzzled by the police's lack of regard for demonic orbs, which they treat as second-class citizens compared to God Orbs.

Hayden: "..."

He stood there quietly, aware of the truth, but uncertain whether Hiromi would understand, as there was more to it than met the eye.

Hayden: "Ask around about Heaven Orb King and you'll find your answer."

(At Dark Orb Kingdom In Orbussia).

Ordering his military to send missiles to Orbran due to the fact of gaining land for Orbussia.

(Dark Orb King/Orbussia's Leader).

Yusuke: "Once Orbran attacks back, one of you say that it is a genocide that will ignite the humans in other world in support of the Dark Orbs to win the war. It worked for the humans in the Middle East, so it should work for us."

He tells his soldiers, who are getting ready to invade Orbran, in a calm tone.

(Negative One Hundred/ Yusuke's son).

Daisuke: "Wow great plan father."

He's being sarcastic, implying it's absurd to think humans would align with a country that has committed multiple genocides.

Yusuke: "In the Middle East, numerous horrific acts have occurred, and yet many individuals continue to align themselves with the perpetrators. Regrettably, it's a fact that humans have a tendency to accept, or even promote, violence. Public support will be necessary before proceeding with the war."

He utters this calmly while standing up, extracting his scythe, and preparing to engage in combat.

Yusuke: "Just have confidence in me, I've got this covered."

He disappears into the darkness along with his soldiers as they enter Orbran, readying themselves for battle and expecting Orbran to counterattack against Orbrussia.

This will continue in the next chapter.
