(At the city in Orbpan Orb Tokyo).
Hiromi: "..."
As she walks down the street, her eyes fixed on the ground, she passes by a TV store showing breaking news about the Orb United Nations. The report catches her attention, detailing why Yusuke, the Dark Orb King, is seeking human support. This reminds her of Hayden's warnings about the Heaven Orb King and his advice to gather information from people around her. She wonders why Hayden hasn't shared more about the Heaven Orb King, despite her curiosity. Looking up, she notices a group of young demonic orbs begging for money, their pleas falling on deaf ears as pedestrians hurry by.
(In her mind).
"Heaven Orb King and The Demonic Category."
(Out of her mind).
She looks away from the TV and accidentally bumps into someone as she turns, realizing with a stare that it was the same boy she had seen before. Her cheeks flush slightly, but she attempts to play it cool, pretending that she doesn't know him.
Hiromi: "I'm really sorry about bumping into you just now, I wasn't watching where I was going and I hope you're okay."
She plays it cool, her smile unfolding effortlessly as she gazes at him, her eyes sparkling with a hint of warmth.
Kai: "It's great to see you again, you're that girl who always seems to pop up in the most unexpected places, and I have to say, it's really nice running into you once more."
A faint flush rises to his cheeks as he breaks into a warm, gentle smile at her.
Hiromi: "I'm off duty now and was thinking it would be great to hang out together, are you free?"
She asked him, her face flushing a deep shade of red as her heart pounded rapidly in her chest.
Kai: "I'd love to hang out with you."
His face flushes with a subtle warmth as he accepts her offer, not wanting to appear impolite by declining. He glances back slightly, catching sight of the demonic orbs - children who are either homeless or from impoverished families, begging for money to support their loved ones. The heartbreaking scene fuels his anger towards the God Orbs. He gazes at the girl with vibrant strawberry blonde hair and piercing blue eyes. A warm smile spreads across his face as he walks away with her, though in the back of his mind, he's aware that she's a police officer.
(At the Angels Of Slaughter Yakuza Hideout in the office).
The entire group of Angels Of Slaughter Yakuza members, a rough-looking bunch with tattoos and menacing scowls, stand in the room alongside Kiyozawa and Kanako. As Zentarō stepped into the room.
Zentarō: "It has come to my attention that our organization is undergoing a significant change: we will no longer be affiliated with the Yakuza. Instead, we will now be working under the umbrella of the Holy Corporation, effectively becoming a specialized task force within the police department. I hope this new direction is acceptable to everyone involved."
He looks at everyone, especially his adopted son Kiyozawa, whose facial expression reveals shock and confusion. He had anticipated that Kiyozawa wouldn't fully understand the situation. After hearing the news, it seemed that everyone else was okay with it, but he knew his son needed more time to process.
Zentarō: "Everyone, please leave the room, except for Kiyozawa. I need to have a private conversation with him."
He says it calmly, his voice steady, as he watches everyone file out of the room, leaving behind only his son, who's still reeling in shock from the bombshell announcement that the notorious Yakuza is joining the police department. Once the heavy wooden door creaked shut, enveloping him and his son in an uncomfortable silence within the small, dimly lit room.
Kiyozawa: "What exactly happened? Were you intimidated or threatened by the God Orbs? And what's behind your sudden decision to collaborate with the police department?"
He was shocked and confused as to why his father was making the Yakuza join the Holy Corporation, especially with the God Orbs, considering the Yakuza meant everything to him and he couldn't understand why his father would give it up.
Zentarō: "I kind of expected you'd be the only one upset about this, but there's something else I want to discuss - I'm aware of what you've done, Kiyozawa."
He shoots his son a cold, disapproving glare, his eyes filled with a deep-seated disappointment and frustration, knowing that his child has strayed down a destructive path, one that he had desperately hoped his son would avoid.
Kiyozawa: "..."
He falls silent after hearing the news, deliberately avoiding eye contact with his father, as if the weight of his father's gaze is too much to bear.
Zentarō: "I've received disturbing reports that you've been kidnapping children again, despite my previous warnings to cease such activities. Can you explain why you've chosen to disregard my warnings and continue engaging in this harmful behavior?"
He shoots his adopted son a scathing glare, his frustration and annoyance palpable after repeatedly warning him to stop kidnapping children, only to be met with blatant disregard.
Kiyozawa: "I'm only doing this for you and your organization. I've done nothing wrong. I'm trying to raise enough money to help us all transcend the demonic category. Can't you see that my actions are positive? We can all be reclassified as God Orbs."
He looks at his boss with a confused expression, wondering why he doesn't like the plan that he had put so much thought and effort into.
Zentarō: "I refuse to accept your blood money if it's tainted by illegal activities. If you continue down this path, I'll have no choice but to report you to the authorities."
He spoke in a cold, detached tone, his words deliberately chosen to convey the gravity of his statement and to leave no doubt in his adopted son's mind that he was resolute in his intentions.
Kiyozawa: "..."
His eyes widen slightly as he processes the unexpected warning from his boss, his mind struggling to comprehend the revelation, and he can't help but wonder why he isn't feeling more grateful for the opportunity he's been given.
Zentarō: "This is the final warning."
He glares sternly at his adopted son, his eyes burning with a mix of disappointment and frustration, as he issues a final warning: if he commits one more crime, he will have no choice but to turn him over to the authorities.
Kiyozawa: "..."
He looks down sadly as he walks out the door, closing it softly behind him, and is met with the unexpected sight of his sister, Kanako, standing in the entranceway.
Kanako: "..."
She remained silent, letting him pass, as she struggled to comprehend the shocking revelation that her adopted brother was capable of committing the most heinous crime. As she follows her brother outside, she hopes he'll take their father's words seriously, particularly the warning, and then she watches in curiosity as he grows his black angelic wings and soars into the sky.
Kanako: "Kiyozawa!"
She unfolded her dark wings and soared into the air, chasing after him with the suspicion that he was on the verge of committing another terrible act. This was the first time she'd ever utilized her power, as she typically avoided Yakuza duties, but stopping her brother was unavoidable. She flew faster than ever before, catching up to her brother in an instant and embracing him tightly.
Kanako: "Kiyozawa where are you going?"
She looks at him, puzzled about his destination, but he responds with a chilling glare.
Kiyozawa: "Get off me, God Orb Trash!"
He looks back at her with a fierce glare, his face reddening with anger as he roughly pushes her off him, his movements fueled by a surge of rage. Kanako plummets from the sky, her eyes fixed on her brother as he swiftly disappears into the distance. She lands with a thud on a demonic vehicle that was parked nearby, its dark, sleek surface gleaming ominously in the fading light.
Male Demonic Vehicle: "Ow!"
He uses his rearview mirrors to glance at the girl who fell on top of him, her frightened face illuminated by the soft glow of the dashboard lights. His headlights flash rapidly, casting an eerie red hue on the surrounding environment as he expresses his anger and frustration at the unexpected situation.
Kanako: "Sorry!"
She stepped down from the vehicle and took to the air once again, flying in the direction her brother had gone.
(At the Underground Facility).
Mochizuki: "..."
As he watches the film, his heart beats rapidly as he glances over at Kaien, who seems engrossed in the movie. Deep down, he suspects that this might be Kaien's first time experiencing something like this, considering his past as a slave under the tyrannical Anastasia. He felt a deep sense of sympathy for him, knowing that throughout his life, he had been bound to Anastasia, who had subjected him to cruel and inhumane treatment.
Kaien: "..."
He was captivated by the movie, a rare respite from the constant exploitation he had endured throughout his life, having been paralyzed and repeatedly utilized for his unique abilities, and subjected to the unimaginable horrors of being a slave, making this cinematic experience his first taste of normalcy.
Mochizuki: "Enjoying the movie?"
He asked him for his opinion about the movie, genuinely interested in hearing his thoughts, and also craving the sound of his voice, which made him blush slightly.
Kaien: "I'm really enjoying the movie, it's very interesting. To be honest, it's my first time watching a film, I've never seen one before."
He says it softly, despite being embarrassed about not having seen a single movie in his entire life, a consequence of being trapped in a miserable relationship with a woman who prioritizes making money above all else.
Mochizuki: "It's great to discover something new and experience it firsthand."
He gazes at Kaien, his cheeks flushing slightly as he looks away, only to refocus on his white flames, realizing that he still requires more training, despite the brief yet intense battle against the Sin Orb Queen, which could have easily ended in defeat.
(In his mind).
"Why did I choose to heal him now, when I've never healed anyone before?"
(Out of his mind).
(A few minutes later at the Dark Alleyway).
Kiyozawa: "Fucking hell!"
He yells it out loud, his voice echoing through the dark alleyway, as he punches the wall with such force that it causes a giant crack to spread from the impact point. He's completely frustrated at the Boss's words, his face reddening with anger, and wonders why he isn't happy with him despite his efforts.
(Nanatsu no Shi aka The Seven Deaths Yakuza).
(Second In Command).
Amaya: "You always seem to be angry."
She emerged from the shadows, her pale skin as white as snow, her hair a matching white, and her eyes a piercing red, all set off by a somber black dress and heels.
Kiyozawa: "What are you doing here, Amaya?"
His calm demeanor belied the intensity of his red eyes as they fixed on her.
Amaya: "I was about to ask someone else, but I recall the last time you asked me to pretend to be your date. Since you did that for me, I'd like to return the favor. My father is hosting a party and has invited your father as well, so it would be nice if we could attend together. Will you be my date?"
She looks at him calmly, yet notices that Kiyozawa is always on edge since his power is constantly activated, causing his eyes to remain red instead of their normal gold color.
Kiyozawa: "Fine. I'll go on a pretend date with you."
He holds her hand and looks at her, just like the last time when she was pretending to be his date.
Amaya: "And also Kanako just called me a few minutes ago and told me to come visit you, what perfect timing that I bumped into you."
She shows him a text message from Kanako, Kiyozawa's sister, with whom she is friends despite their families being part of different Yakuza groups.
Kiyozawa: "Let's just get going."
He avoids eye contact with her because he doesn't want to hear anything about his sister Kanako, harboring deep-seated resentment towards her for being a God Orb.
Amaya: "Fine."
She takes him to a lavish party that her father is hosting at their luxurious mansion, complete with a live band, exquisite cuisine, and a guest list of high-society individuals. As they stepped into the grand foyer of the mansion, they were met with a surprising sight: numerous members from various Yakuza groups, all gathered in one place. Amaya's father, however, was more focused on noticing Kiyozawa holding his daughter Amaya's hand, a gesture that seemed to stir a mix of emotions within him.
Amaya: "My dad is watching you, so try to look calm."
As she holds his hand tightly, yet carefully avoiding too firm a grip, she steals a glance at him, her mind racing with thoughts of how her father might react if he were to see her with Kiyozawa again.
Kiyozawa: "I'm always calm, and by the way, your dad isn't scary at all."
He sensed a heavy, foreboding energy emanating from Amaya's Father as he walked towards him, his presence seeming to darken the air around him. He felt a growing sense of unease as he noticed his hand was trembling, the unsteadiness catching him off guard and leaving him feeling momentarily unsettled.
(In his mind).
"Maybe I am afraid."
(Out of his mind).
(At the Arcade).
Kai stepped into the arcade, a place he had been trying to enter for a long time, but was only allowed in now, strangely, despite previously being restricted to only those who are God Orbs. He was now playing games alongside Hiromi, competing against each other in a two-player game, an unusual experience for him, given it was his first time inside. His heart skipped a beat as he gazed at Hiromi, a faint, endearing smile spreading across his face, his eyes locked intensely on hers as he was determined to beat her in the game, his competitive spirit fueled by his desire to impress her.
Hiromi: "This is nice you know. Let's be friends we could hangout everyday."
She flashes a bright smile at him, having momentarily forgotten the pressing question she had about the Heaven Orb King, or perhaps she simply wants to let loose and enjoy the carefree moments of being a normal teenage girl.
Kai: "Yes let's be friends."
He smiles warmly at her, genuinely pleased with the idea of being friends with someone as kind and endearing as she is, a truly lovely person he's had the pleasure of meeting.
(At the Mansion).
(Amaya's Father/The Leader Of The Nanatsu no Shi aka The Seven Deaths Yakuza).
Haruto: "This is the second time I've seen you with my daughter, and I couldn't help but notice how comfortable you two seem together. Are you two in a romantic relationship?"
He gazes at both Kiyozawa and Amaya, pondering why his daughter Amaya would choose to be with Kiyozawa out of everyone. Despite being aware of Kiyozawa's personality, it leaves him questioning her decision.
Kiyozawa: "I assure you, we're not dating. I doubt that Amaya would be interested in me anyway since she has high standards. Additionally, I lack the time for romantic relationships."
He looks at Amaya's Father calmly as he lets go of Amaya's hand. His eyes were glowing red since his guard is always up.
Amaya: "He's just my date Father."
She wraps her arm around Kiyozawa, startling him and causing him to blush slightly, though he quickly shakes it off. She smiles at Kiyozawa, a slight upturn of her lips, as she harbors a secret crush on him deep down.
Haruto: "You know what you teens have fun."
He observes Kiyozawa and Amaya, noticing the subtle way they interact. He suspects that his daughter Amaya has developed a crush on Kiyozawa, though he personally doesn't think Kiyozawa is suitable for her. This is his personal opinion. He leaves Kiyozawa and Amaya alone, making his way over to the other Yakuza groups who had also attended the party. As he glances up, he spots Kiyozawa's father, Zentarō, who has arrived with his members, including his daughter Kanako.
(In the background).
Kiyozawa: "Amaya, I don't believe you harbor any feelings for me, considering your high standards. Therefore, please refrain from developing romantic feelings for me, as it's uncertain whether I reciprocate those sentiments."
He looks away from her because the thought of Amaya falling in love with him is troubling. If he lets her in, then his plans will be all for nothing. He'll be stuck in the same demonic category as Zentarō, his adopted father.
Amaya: "I didn't say I love you; I just said we're friends and nothing more."
She looks away from him as tears slightly well up but she shakes them off because she doesn't want him to see her cry. She pretends everything is fine but deep down she's hurting from rejection.
Kiyozawa: "Sorry Amaya."
He turns away from her, walking off because deep down he knows she's probably crying but hiding it from him. If he dates her, all his plans will fall - everything will be for nothing. His boss told him to stop but should he really listen? He's so close to achieving his goal now. He quickly exits the Mansion, not wanting to be seen by his sister or father since he knows his sister must have told their father what happened earlier between them two. He feels like he might get scolded, especially in front of other Yakuza groups. That would be embarrassing. He looks up slightly and sees Kaito with a twisted smile on his face. Kaito begins to approach him and throws an Orb Special grenade at him.
Kiyozawa: "Fucking hell!"
He quickly spreads his wings to block the grenade, but it explodes against him anyway. The force of the blast pushes him back and he crashes into the wall outside the mansion, creating a huge crack. He looks up dazedly and sees Kaito and his members appearing from demonic symbols all around him. His eyes widen in realization as he looks back at the mansion, thinking they intend to infiltrate it. He immediately begins to screech loudly, sending powerful sound waves throughout the area in an attempt to contact the other members of his Yakuza group, including his father. But before he could finish his screech, Kaito suddenly appears right in front of him and quickly covers his mouth with his hand, silencing him instantly. Kiyozawa's red eyes flash angrily as he looks up at Kaito with a muffled growl. His wings twitch nervously behind him.
Kaito: "Don't bother trying to call for help,"
He murmurs coldly, his voice laced with amusement.
Kaito: "I want to have some fun with you, just the two of us."
His hand tightens slightly around Kiyozawa's mouth, his red eyes glinting with mischief.
Kiyozawa: "..."
Kiyozawa struggles fiercely against Kaito's grasp, trying to punch him off. He thrashes his wings and kicks his legs wildly, but Kaito holds firm, not budging an inch.
Kaito: "Calm down,"
He chuckles darkly. As they heard footsteps approaching behind them, they turned to see Amaya. Her eyes widened at the sight of Kiyozawa in danger, and she attempted to save him with her special power. However, Kaito's men quickly grabbed her as well.
Kiyozawa: "Mhmm!"
(In his mind).
"Amaya, why did she just follow me?"
He thought to himself, frustration evident in his voice.
"Why can't she just stay put?"
He shook his head, trying to focus on the situation at hand despite his growing concern for Amaya's safety.
(Out of his mind).
Amaya: "I know who you are! Kaito! Let go of Kiyozawa!"
Amaya shouted, her voice filled with urgency and determination.
(Flashback in the mansion).
Amaya watched Kiyozawa leave, unspoken words hanging in the air. She didn't want him to go, wishing they could spend more time together, at least as friends. Without a clear plan, she followed him outside, curious and concerned.
(End of Flashback).
Kaito's members held onto Amaya tightly, their minds racing with a wicked idea that would crush Kiyozawa. Kaito smirked, keeping his grip tight on Kiyozawa and covering his mouth.
Kaito: "Strip her."
He ordered one of his men, as they prepared to remove Amaya's dress.
Amaya's eyes widened in horror as she struggled to break free, but the men were relentless in removing her dress. This sight caused Kiyozawa's struggles intensify; watching Amaya being violated filled him with rage and desperation.
A sickening idea crossed Kaito's mind, one designed to break Kiyozawa completely.
Kaito: "Rape her. Make him watch."
He ordered his men. Still holding Kiyozawa tightly, he covered his mouth, muffling his desperate yells for Amaya as the men began to violate her. Though she fought valiantly, Amaya's struggles were useless against the brute force of the men. Her screams for her father echoed through the outside, while Kiyozawa watched helplessly, his eyes widening in pure horror, tears streaming down his face as Kaito silenced his own pleas for mercy.
Kiyozawa: "..."
(In his mind).
"Amaya is being violated right before my eyes... What can I do? Why was I so careless to let this happen? If only I had the strength to protect her... It's all my fault. All my fault..."
Tears streamed unabated down his face as he watched the brutal scene unfold.
"Amaya... I'm so sorry,"
His heart shattering into a million pieces as he saw the blood seeping from her stomach wound, a cruel memento from her attacker's blade. Kiyozawa's eyes suddenly glowed with an intense, dark crimson light – a power long dormant within him violently awakening. His once-hidden wings extended massively, their razor-sharp edges effortlessly slicing through Kaito's limbs where he had been gripping Kiyozawa. In a flash of darkness, Kiyozawa's newfound power cut down every member who had been holding Amaya, leaving Kaito laughing manically in the background as he regenerated his missing limbs – enjoying the sudden turn of events.
Kaito: "What an interesting experience!"
With a wave of his demonic symbols, Kaito cleansed the street of blood and bodies, his smirk widening as he gazed upon Kiyozawa holding Amaya's limp form. Deciding that the 'fun' was over for now, he disappears completely into the darkness.
Kiyozawa: "I'm sorry,"
He choked, pulling Amaya closer as tears streamed down his face – the brutal scene finally hitting him.
Amaya: "You saved me. That's enough for me."
She managed a small smile and she whispered, happy that he had finally intervened.
The sudden footsteps caught Kiyozawa off guard. He looked back just in time to see Amaya's father standing there.
Haruto: "You hurt my daughter!"
His eyes filled with rage and a sword piercing through Kiyozawa's chest in a blink of an eye. He shouted – unaware of Kiyozawa's role in saving her.
Kiyozawa: "..."
Kiyozawa gasped as the sword pierced his chest, coughing up blood. But instead of collapsing, he felt a sudden surge of power healing the wound instantly. He gently lowered Amaya to the ground, his hands trembling as he turned to face her enraged father. Behind him was his own father standing in the background, face contorted with anger and disbelief that his son had supposedly harmed Amaya.
Zentarō appeared right in front of him and grabbed Kiyozawa roughly by the collar, dragging him away.
Zentarō: "We're leaving. Now."
His voice was low and dangerous, implying there would be severe consequences awaiting Kiyozawa at home—for allegedly hurting Amaya
Kiyozawa: "It wasn't me! It was Kaito!"
He pleaded, trying to convince his father that he was innocent and that Kaito's men was the one who had hurt Amaya. But Zentarō's face remained stern and disbelieving.
Zentarō: "Shut up! I don't want to hear your excuses!"
Zentarō's grip tightened, his eyes flashing with anger. He pulled Kiyozawa along forcefully as they left Amaya behind with her father.
Zentarō: "First you kidnapped children and you hurt Amaya what's wrong with you!"
He couldn't believe that his adopted son would do such a thing especially towards Amaya but this behavior is getting out of hand so he decided to do the unthinkable.
Zentarō: "I'm disowning YOU Kiyozawa".
He shouted it at him, causing Kiyozawa's eyes to widen in shock. He couldn't believe what he was hearing; his heart sank at those words.
Kiyozawa: "It wasn't me, I swear! Kaito did it! He hurt Amaya! Please believe me!"
He shouted in desperation, hoping his father would believe him, but it was too late. In the blink of an eye, his father struck him in the vital spot as punishment for hurting Amaya. His eyes widened as blood gushed out from his chest. He was bleeding out rapidly. Since the attack was to his life force, some of his crystal shards shattered and cracked. The pain was unbearable, and he blacked out from the intense trauma, collapsing to the ground as his life force began to drain away. Zentarō looks down at Kiyozawa's unconscious and shattered life force, tears streaming down his face as he realizes he might have just killed his adopted son. But in his anger and grief over Amaya's supposed hurt, he felt he had to do it—Kiyozawa had simply done too much. He walks away from the scene, leaving Kiyozawa bleeding out on the floor. In the background, Kaito watches with a slight smirk on his face—this was the push he had been waiting for. He believes that Kiyozawa will become the new leader of the Angels Of Slaughter Yakuza.
(The next day at the Underground Facility in the Medical Room).
Kiyozawa awakens to find himself in a hospital-like room, his chest still cracked and painful but somehow held together by someone's effort. He looks around the room, noticing a woman with brown hair and pink eyes sitting nearby.
Klaudia: "You're awake,"
She says softly.
Kiyozawa: "Who are you? And how did I get here?"
He asks her. His chest still aches with pain, and the memory of what his father had done to him lingers heavily in his mind.
Klaudia: "'My name is Klaudia."
She replies gently.
Klaudia: "But don't bother asking how you got here,
it's more important that you're alive."
Her calm demeanor seems to ease some of the tension in the room, allowing Kiyozawa to focus on her rather than his pain
Kiyozawa: "..."
Klaudia's response is vague and mysterious, which only fuels Kiyozawa's curiosity and frustration. He tries to sit up straight despite the pain, his hand instinctively reaching for his chest where the cracks are.
Kiyozawa: "Alive or not, I need answers."
He demands gruffly
Kiyozawa: "How bad is my chest?"
He asks, trying to ignore the burning pain that flares up with each breath.
Klaudia: "Your life force is extremely fragile right now,"
She warns him gently.
Klaudia: "You need to stay here and rest for at least a couple of weeks to allow your body to heal."
Her tone implies that any sudden movement or exertion could potentially be fatal for him in his current state.
Kiyozawa: "Are you fucking kidding me?"
His annoyance is palpable as he sits up abruptly, ignoring the sharp pain that shoots through his chest. He snaps at Klaudia, his hands balling into fists at his sides.*
Kiyozawa: "Two weeks?! I can't afford to waste time lying around here!"
Klaudia's expression turns serious and stern as she sees the annoyance flash across Kiyozawa's face.
Klaudia: "I am not kidding you,"
She responds firmly but kindly, her pink eyes meeting his gaze.
Klaudia: "Your body needs time to heal properly. If you try to leave now, it could be dangerous—even fatal."
She steps closer, her voice softening slightly but maintaining its serious tone. Without a moment's hesitation, Klaudia uses her power to paralyze him instantly. His body goes rigid as he tries to move but finds himself completely immobilized.
Kiyozawa: "Damn woman!"
His voice drops dangerously low, like a cornered animal. He growls at her, his muscles straining against the invisible bonds that hold him down.
Klaudia: "Stay."
She glares at him.
This will be continue in the next chapter.
