The plot of the drama was about a woman who had gone from scratch and without any option and means to survive during her time she disguised herself as a boy and joined the military after toiling and much struggle she was able to gain a rank and later moved up in ranks. The young prince who had caused his father much pain decided to strip him off his rank and sent him off to the military where he took a liking to the general. Although he didn't understand his feelings for the general he still supported her and strived to gain favour in her eyes making him a better man who cared for his people. Later he was taken back to the palace where he found out the general was in fact a woman. He married her after much strain and they were thrust into the political drama of the palace.
Ha-ru played as the close confidant to the main protagonist. They had become friends after the main protagonist rescued him when he was caught stealing something therefore owing her his life. The main protagonist considered him as her brother and took him in.
The role wasn't as small as Alice had presented it to be. If done right it would gain significant attention from the audience and give the actor a significant platform to start. He wondered why the other actor would let go of such a golden opportunity.
The scene they were shooting was of Ha-ru's character meeting the main protagonist.
His hair was disheveled as he run past people while desperately clinging onto the small food he had despite falling down multiple times. He could here the man screaming behind him as he tried to get away. His eyes held so much emotion and range it drew the people on the set into the scene making them engrossed.
Even his screams of plea sent shockwaves of sadness to those who were watching. His scene was so enchanting that everyone fell into silence just to witness his acting, even the director was so engrossed he was left speechless and never once yelled for the scenes to cut until it was finally over.
"that....that was good..."the director complimented him his voice which was usually so poised and his demure changed.
He stared at Ha-ru as he wiped the blood make up off casually, different thoughts running through his mind.
"you never told me you could act?" Alice asked still a bit dumbfounded.
"about your proposal. when can i expect it to be done?" he asked trying to divert attention.
Before he could ask her anything before he had been called to the set. He didn't have any other choice than to comply.
"i will inform you"
Just then someone called him back to the set to film a different angle of the scene.
Alice looked at him in wonder as she stood holding his wash cloth.

"so what are you saying?" Alice asked while folding her hand as soon as she realised she had the upper hand in the situation which boosted her ego.
It had already been three days on the set and Ha-ru had impressed the director with his delivery and his ability to memorize scripts so quickly which was so rare for him to do.
"tone it down a bit!" He scolded her sofly making her drop her hands but the smile on her face sad everything.
"its just a couple of scenes that it"
"as long as its not decreasing his scenes i am fine with it." she said the smile on her face getting bigger.
She looked behind the director to see Ha-ru leaning on a pole scrolling through his phone as he waited for her.
They talked a bit more on the various scenes and the locations before they finally went their separate ways.
Alice and Ha-ru got in the car and started driving home.
"Are you hungry is there anything you would like to eat?" she asked as she drove while stealing a slight glance at him.
"not really" he said in a low voice as he shut his phone down and placed it in his pocket.
"okay..." she whispered as she bit her lip.
She didn't know how to bring up the topic she had already agreed to add more scenes for him without him knowing, she thought it would be a great opportunity for him to delve into acting thinking it would be more rewarding than gaming.
"so....." she started as she cleared her throat while her hands tightened on the stirring wheel. "The director was really impressed with your work he said you are very talented." she added. "in fact he wants to add more scenes for you." she continued after he didn't give her a response.
The car fell into silence as they drove for a while.
"I didn't agree to that." he stated in a monotone voice.
"yah, I know but you know this is a great opportunity for you..."
"I don't want it."
"why?" she asked her voice in a high pitch.
"for one you haven't fulfilled your end of the bargain."
"Well you didn't let me finish did you?" she said gaining his attention. ''I arranged for a meeting with one of the redraft members its was so hard to get him. According to my sources he is the reason Joowan is mad at you. If you can get the reason why i am sure reconciling with joowan will be a piece of cake." she said proudly.
She had already set the meeting days before but she needed a bargaining chip with her hard headed nephew.
"when?" he asked his interest increasing.
"tomorrow night" she said.
"Who is it?"
"first will do the scenes or not?" she asked while smirking.
Ha-ru snickered at her blatant extortion of him and their deal but he thought that as long as he could get Ha-ru and joowan talking it would be enough.
