Hey guys… it's me, your favorite irregular uploader.
Yeah, yeah, I know… the chapters are late, the uploads are few, and some of you are probably sharpening your pitchforks by now. BUT WAIT—before you start a rebellion in the comments section, let me explain.
Reason 1 – I've discovered a horrifying truth…
My novel has more mistakes than a drunk goblin writing fanfiction.
I swear, I opened a random chapter and almost fainted. I've been re-reading my work like a detective piecing together a crime scene and realized… "Oh no. This was written by me. Sober. On purpose." So now, I'm trying to fix it. But like a hero facing a world-ending boss battle, I might be slightly underleveled for this edit-fest.
Reason 2 – The story can still glow up!
Yes, you heard me. I've realized there's room for improvement. Some parts are dragging like a slime in a desert, and I don't want you all to read something that makes you yawn harder than an NPC with no dialogue. So I've been tweaking stuff, adjusting the flow, and trying *not* to mess it up further. I know some parts lately have been, well… let's call them "narrative potatoes." But stick with me. Trust me. Once this Emberveil Event wraps up, the **real** arc begins—*the one with actual emotional trauma and flaming swords*.
Reason 3 – My birthday is coming. And I might vanish.
Now don't worry, I'm not fishing for birthday wishes or virtual cake (unless it's chocolate). But I turn a year older on **April 30**, and I may or may not spend that day being kidnapped by friends, fed cake until I ascend to the sugar realm, or being forced to touch grass. Translation: no chapters on April 30 because I'll be busy trying not to become a responsible adult.
So yeah. That's the update.
The chapters will return. The chaos will continue. The story will glow up.
And hopefully, you'll still be here when it does, because I promise—it's going to be worth it.
Thanks for your patience, your rage, your memes, and your passive-aggressive comments. I read them all.
Your eternally apologetic author.
