"But if you are really thankful…" he adjusted himself on the chair as if he wasn't sitting right. He continued, "...promise you'll answer my questions. I'm very curious to know some things."
She understood him. "And if I answer, you should answer my questions too."
"I'll answer the questions you ask me after doing something for me. I cooked for you, so how many questions am I allowed to ask or should I say how many of my questions are you going to answer?"
She hated how calm he always sounded and how his nonchalant expression buttressed his tone. It always looked as if he was not interested in anything that had to do with her.
"Two," she replied, probably after various considerations.
Logan sighed. "I'll have to do more things for you then because I want to know a lot about you."
