"How was it?" Seo-Jun asked.
We were in the car, probably returning home, unless he came up with any plans to delay our return.
He seemed interested in the session, but was exercising caution so as not to put me off.
I stretched my arms on my knee and then let out a faint smile.
"I should learn to value myself more," I mumbled and then spread the smile further. "Don't you think?"
Seo-Jun stared at me silently, shocked, even, given how his eyes widened a bit.
I don't know which made his eyes widen. My words or my smile.
Whichever it was, it made him cover his face and turn away, as if trying to hide something.
I did think my words would shock him but his reaction is more organic than I thought.
"If you don't," Seojun spoke up and I raised my head. Did he finally have something to say? He did not look at me and kept his gaze on the window, looking only at the reflection that stared back at him. "There are so many people who already value you."
