Once again, I scoffed.

I let out a soft laugh, the kind that was meant to sting at their hearts with uneasiness. "My daddy would definitely have your heads if he heard you call me a pet." I added, and they flinched, fear gripping their faces even when I hadn't even mentioned who my daddy was.
