Luminara was speechless. No words managed to escape her mouth, as she gaped at Noah with eyes wide with dismay.
That scene lingered a moment longer, while Noah simply waited, before she finally regained her grip on herself, and with it, the control of her tongue.
"W-What?" She stuttered, and instantly felt embarrassed by such a display in front of someone far younger than her. In front of someone who was both her daughter's husband and her own pupil.
Noah was dangerous.
Luminara knew it, and for the first time she inwardly admitted that maybe… just maybe, he was the very reason she had refused to open herself to the family.
'My heart… my heart is beating too fast. Oh… oh no… please no…'
She was doomed, she realized, with both fear and wicked anticipation.
