Finally, the two collapsed on the bed, their bodies spent, their lust sated — for now.
Dominique lay with her head resting against Noah's chest, her breathing steadying slowly.
"Noah Weaverheart, huh? I knew I recognized your face from somewhere," she said softly, tracing circles on his skin with her fingers. "You're the human who defeated the Chosen One."
"Indeed, that's me," Noah replied calmly.
Dominique lifted her head slightly, her beautiful pink eyes gleaming with curiosity.
"And what is someone as famous as you doing here, deep inside demon territory? Inside my mother's domain, no less?"
Noah chuckled, a soft, mysterious smile playing on his lips.
"I have some things to solve," he said, and then added with a smirk, "And… I thought it'd be interesting to meet the rulers of this land. Turns out, your mother is one of them. So why not have her introduce us properly?"
Dominique tilted her head, studying him carefully.
