Tsunade suddenly sighed softly, "Minato and Kushina both died by his hands. If they knew that the culprit was their own disciple, they would definitely be very disappointed."

"Doesn't that mean you can bring the dead back to life?", Shizune asked in surprise.
"It's not resurrection," Tsunade explained again, "It just summons the soul of the dead from the Pure Land and binds it into a vessel of the living world. Also, the reincarnated person can't use their full strength from when they were alive, and this jutsu requires a living sacrifice."
"So in every sense, this jutsu is forbidden. After the Second Hokage created it, he immediately classified it as a forbidden technique."
"I see."
Shizune didn't ask further.
After all, she had followed Tsunade since she was little, and she had no regrets she wanted to make up for by using such a jutsu.

"Alright. Aoba, don't forget what big sis likes to eat."
Used to working overtime, Shizune agreed readily, reminding him at the same time.
"I know."
Aoba smiled in reply, then followed Tsunade out.
The place where the Book of Seals was stored was right next to the Hokage's office.
It was guarded by the Anbu twenty-four hours a day.
"Sensei, is there anyone you'd like to see? Maybe you could take this chance to make up for your own regrets," Aoba suddenly asked.
"Someone I want to see?", Tsunade was taken aback.
Aoba glanced at her expression, "For example, someone you cared about who's passed away, Ow!"
Before he could finish, Tsunade grabbed his ear, "You little brat, don't think I don't know what you're getting at."
"Sensei, my ear's gonna fall off!"
Aoba put on a pitiful face. But the next second, he found himself falling into a warm embrace.
"Sensei?"
"The past is already in the past. Right now, having you… and Shizune is enough."
