The battlefield was silent.
Encased in flawless ice, the once-mighty Panther Goddess Bast now looked more like an exquisite sculpture an artifact from the Ice Age, frozen in time.
The world held its breath.
"Superman won…"
Inside his armor, Tony Stark's lips were dry. He stared at the terrain data projected by Friday.
The landscape around Wakanda had been annihilated far worse than any tactical nuke ever deployed.
This… is Nolan's true power?
Not even their combined forces had a chance. Not against this. Not against a man who just defeated a god.
---
Even Vision might not have survived the full brunt of Bast's divine assault. Yet Nolan didn't just survive it he froze her solid.
The Avengers, the U.S. military, the world… everyone could only watch in awe.
"We lost…"
King T'Challa's voice cracked with despair. If even their goddess had fallen…
What hope did Wakanda have?
Inside the palace, Shuri watched the frozen battlefield. Her brilliant mind raced for solutions but no amount of intellect could find a way out.
She understood now this wasn't just defeat. It was the death of resistance.
---
Across the globe, governments, intelligence agencies, and secret organizations stared at their screens in silence.
The war had ended. The victor was clear.
---
Xavier's School for Gifted Youngsters
Charles Xavier exchanged a heavy glance with Hank McCoy.
"Is that even a man?" Hank whispered. "He just killed a god."
Though he had no love for Wakanda, the sheer scale of Nolan's strength was terrifying.
What if Nolan ever turned on mutants?
Even if Charles and Erik joined forces, they couldn't stop him.
Nolan had both of their abilities: telepathy, magnetism, and more.
---
"Recall Erik," Charles said quietly. "This fight is no longer ours."
They had helped only because of Stark. Wakanda had never supported mutantkind.
Now, facing a being like Nolan, they couldn't risk the lives of their students.
Sentinel drones ringed Wakanda like vultures.
"Even if we flee," Charles muttered, "our children can't."
"So what now?" Hank asked. "How do we coexist with a literal god walking among us?"
Charles closed his eyes, then remembered something. Or someone.
"Have Erik play the family card. Wanda is his daughter. If anyone can reach Nolan, it's her."
"Right…" Hank nodded. "And what about Deadpool? He wanted to be a guard at Oscorp."
"Let him. He might know something. And if Nolan's involved, it might help keep Wade alive for once."
---
S.H.I.E.L.D. Base
Nick Fury leaned back in his chair, for once stripped of his usual certainty.
He had originally sent Captain America and others to Wakanda to secure a relationship with the vibranium-rich superpower.
He had expected Wakanda to win.
After all, their tech rivaled anything S.H.I.E.L.D. had ever seen.
But things escalated fast.
Beta Sentinels. Mutants. Tactical nukes. Deities.
And then Nolan.
---
Everyone thought Bast would win.
She had destroyed the U.S. military's best weapons and even defeated Red Hulk.
But then the tide turned.
A mortal challenged a god… and won.
Fury's voice was a whisper:
"God among men…"
Next to him, Coulson was still processing what had happened.
"He's even stronger than Thor," Coulson said, stunned. "Stronger than any of them."
Fury stayed quiet.
The Hulk had disappeared.
Thor had returned to Asgard.
They were out of cards.
His last resort?
Fury's hand brushed the pager in his pocket the one for Captain Marvel.
Carol Danvers had always been his ace in the hole. Against Thanos. Against Kree. Against anyone.
But now… for the first time, Fury wasn't sure if even Carol could win.
"Why does a mortal have such terrifying power…" he muttered.

Global Reactions
From underground bunkers to orbiting satellites, every major world power watched the same feed:
Nolan is standing victorious.
A man who had killed a god.
A man who now stood as an unstoppable force, capable of toppling nations.
Not just a superhuman.
A god among Humans.
