Hannah gasped in shock.
She quickly took his phone and went towards the brown door and knocked on it.
Meanwhile, Logan was getting dressed in the room when he heard the door knock. He furrowed his brows and put on his polo shirt and boxers short before opening the door. The moment he opened the door. He was surprised to see Hannah standing there and ––
His eyes narrowed dangerously when he saw his phone with Hannah and without thinking twice, he pulled her forcefully by her waist, hugging her tightly making her gasp.
Hannah was too stunned to react as she felt his strong hands wrapped firmly around her waist.
"Do you miss me?" He asked, his voice dropping low and deep like a deep water; making her gulp softly. Her cheeks tilted pink as she fluttered her lashes subconsciously at their intimate closeness.
Hannah didn't know how to reply with the way her heart rate had increased and if she wasn't careful, it will explode like fireworks.
Logan stared at her as he watch as every emotions flickered on her face. For some strange reasons he didn't understand, he loves teasing her, watching her squirm under him. He slowly cupped her cheeks with his fingers making shivers run down her spine.
Hannah closed her eyes feeling his strong fingers on her cheeks, grazing and teasing.
Oh no, this was bad. She thought and slowly opened her eyes to stare at the deep black eyes staring intently at her too.
His hot breath fanned her face softly as he kept facing her.
They locked eyes for a long while until Logan's phone suddenly beeped in her hands making the intimate moment paused.
Logan slowly moved away from her and stared at her hand holding his phone.
Hannah followed his line of gaze and gulped nervously, her heart began to race fiercely in her chest before parting her lips to talk,
"You have missed notification message and a call. It's like someone is trying to intrude..." Her words trail off when Logan smirked mischievously at her.
"Hand over". He said and she quickly gave him his phone.
"I will be traveling to Germany tomorrow night. I have to take care of somethings. " He said and walked away without waiting for her to talk.
Hannah didn't say anything and took in a quiet deep breath before leaving the dressing room. Somethings have been bothering her lately,; most especially the attack they faced some days ago and the fact Logan had said it was Scarlet who set him up. She felt totally confused and wanted answers to the burning questions.
Also, her mind drifted back to the time of he introduction party where she had came face to face with a man named Gregor. For some strange reasons she couldn't get, why does she feel as though she knew the man somewhere before? Or has met him somewhere before?
She had so many thoughts spiraling through her head as she sat down on the bed. This was going to be the fourth time Logan had kissed her. She didn't know if she was doing the right thing or not, by allowing Logan to kiss her and also, even if she resist, knowing Logan, he wouldn't bat an eyebrow before taking what is his rightfully his.
Her cheeks flushed a bright red at the thought of her and Logan being intimate. She lay back on the bed without stressing her brain and decided to let things flow.
Meanwhile,
Logan was seated in his Bentley. He knew he had been lazy since he he had been with Hannah. All his thoughts were so coated about her and it bothered him so greatly. He had been waiting for John to call him to let him know if he had dropped the three companies contracts at his office until he receives a notification that an intruder was trying to break into his presidential office.
He hated the fact that the Fledds were always steps ahead of him and this was unlike him; he was the powerful ruthless CEO who kills without batting an eye, but now, he looks like a lost puppy.
He closed his eyes trying to block away thoughts of Hannah from his head before opening his eyes.
He dialed John's Line. After a few rings,
John's lively voice came into the line.
"Boss, Job done". He said with an enthusiastic tone.
"Leave the Boswell company alone. I have no interest in them anymore. He would just punish Scarlett and let her know never to drag his wife in their matter or hurt ther be it physically, emotionally or mentally. Also about the Fledds, I heard Mr fledd traveled for business meeting, also have you dropped the contract documents in my office?" Logan asked coldly.
"Yes boss. Mr Fledd is back. He is holding a state banquet and he has invited Mr Emerson. Also, boss the Emersons enterprise is facing a crisis. Are you still taking over the company? Should I send a notice?" John asked eagerly.
"No need. I'd be visiting the company very soon". He said, with his cold deep and menacing voice. He hadn't paid much attention on his father's company, but here his personal assistant talking about Mr fledd inviting his dad for a state banquet; that only means something is up with that man and his family and he would have to find out.
With that, he hung up the call and started the engine of the car before accelerating in max speed.
While he was driving, he picked out his phone and dialed Chen line.
After two rings, Chen picked up and sounded extremely excited.
"Logan...I have great news for you. " He said excitedly. Who would have thought he would find out the motive of Gregor and the Fledds this quick and he also knows that this news will bring great joy to Logan.
Logan who heard his loud and lively voice narrowed his eyes.
He asked calmly, while driving on the high way.
"This is going to..."
"Go straight to the point." Logan cut him coldly.
Chen winced at his coldness. Well, knowing how Logan is, he better start telling him the sweet news he had just discovered.
"The Fledds aren't who they appear to be. They don't have children and also I find out that they are looking for their long time twins and Gregor is there in Sutherland to help them. Also, about the expansion of the sex slavery, Mr Fledd is still doing it and this time around he plan to expand it using the state banquet he is planning on holding in few weeks from now. And their other aim is to take over the country from president Winter Santos."
Chen explained briefly pausing and waiting for Logan to talk.
