Ordering his troops to consolidate their positions and refrain from any rash actions, Yusuke Uchiha immediately returned to the Seireitei to investigate the situation.
Upon returning to the Seireitei, Yusuke Uchiha did not proceed directly to see Kōga Kuchiki, but instead returned to the 6th Division barracks to question Ginjirō Shirogane, who was left behind.

Although the noble Shinigami present quickly ceased their conversation upon Yusuke Uchiha's arrival, he managed to overhear enough to discern their true intentions. The banquet was ostensibly a celebration of Kōga Kuchiki's arrest, providing a platform for them to strategize on how to further amplify the severity of Kōga Kuchiki's alleged crimes.
After a brief exchange with these noble Shinigami regarding the situation involving Kōga Kuchiki, it became evident that they were determined to ensure Kōga Kuchiki's permanent imprisonment within Muken.
Yusuke Uchiha was not surprised by the noble Shinigami's attitude. Given the considerable resources and manpower they had expended in orchestrating this elaborate scheme, they would undoubtedly be unwilling to relinquish their target so easily.
However, securing a genuine conviction against Kōga Kuchiki would prove far from straightforward, as the Soul Society possessed various means of verifying the veracity of witness testimonies.
Leaving the noble's residence, Yusuke Uchiha proceeded to the prison designated for temporary inmates.
To Yusuke Uchiha's astonishment, the prison's security was remarkably lax, with only two Shinigami possessing weak spiritual pressure assigned as guards.
Even more perplexing was the fact that Kōga Kuchiki's confiscated Zanpakutō had been left within the prison.

A successful escape, even if Kōga Kuchiki were innocent, would serve to solidify his guilt. Furthermore, any acts of violence committed during the escape, such as the slaying of Seireitei guards, would significantly exacerbate his alleged crimes.
The noble Shinigami, while lacking in personal strength, were undeniably adept at manipulating events to their advantage.
As anticipated by the noble Shinigami, Kōga Kuchiki was indeed contemplating an escape, harboring the intention of eliminating those who had unjustly framed him and securing his imprisonment.
Since his arrest, Kōga Kuchiki had been subjected to a relentless barrage of lectures from his father-in-law, Ginrei Kuchiki.
While Ginrei Kuchiki believed Kōga Kuchiki had not intentionally murdered any Shinigami, he attributed the incident to Kōga Kuchiki's habitual disregard for proper conduct and his inability to control both his power and his emotions, a deficiency which had gradually escalated to dire consequences.
Ginrei Kuchiki's assessment was undoubtedly accurate, and his concern for Kōga Kuchiki was genuine. However, given Kōga Kuchiki's personality, such lectures only served to exacerbate his resentment.
While Kōga Kuchiki usually displayed outward deference and compliance towards Ginrei Kuchiki out of fear, in this moment of intense frustration and injustice, the lectures only ignited a greater sense of indignation within him.
"They're all the same," Kōga Kuchiki raged silently within his own mind, "even Ginrei Kuchiki has always looked down on me!"
At this point, Kōga Kuchiki was consumed by extreme emotions, even contemplating revenge against the Kuchiki family upon escaping imprisonment.
"Kōga, can you sense me? If you intend to escape, I will assist you in breaking out immediately!" Muramasa, sensing the surge of rage emanating from Kōga Kuchiki, transmitted its unwavering loyalty and willingness to aid him.
Muramasa's loyalty to Kōga Kuchiki was absolute. However, were Kōga Kuchiki to heed its suggestion, he would undoubtedly be embarking upon an irreversible and perilous path.
Overwhelmed by a potent mixture of anger and resentment, Kōga Kuchiki was incapable of engaging in rational thought.
Upon realizing that he could still communicate with his Zanpakutō, Kōga Kuchiki immediately resolved to unleash Muramasa's full power and force his way out of his confinement.
"Third Seat Kuchiki, are you contemplating an escape?"
At that very moment, a voice that instilled far greater fear in Kōga Kuchiki than even that of Ginrei Kuchiki, resonated throughout the prison cell.
Raising his head, which had been bowed low, Kōga Kuchiki saw, in the dim light of the prison cell, the figure of the man who had previously inflicted a humiliating defeat upon him.
"It's you," Kōga Kuchiki retorted coldly, "Are you here to gloat over my misfortune?"
Despite his fear of Yusuke Uchiha's overwhelming power, Kōga Kuchiki felt a sense of defiance in his current predicament. His sole focus was to wait for Yusuke Uchiha's departure before seizing an opportunity to escape.
Upon hearing Kōga Kuchiki's words, Yusuke Uchiha responded with a smile, "I have no interest in mocking my subordinates. Furthermore, a captain's reputation suffers when a subordinate makes a mistake. My purpose in coming here is to offer you a path forward."
Kōga Kuchiki responded with a bitter laugh, "What path is there left for me?"
Yusuke Uchiha smiled again. "You plan to escape after I leave, don't you?"
Upon hearing Yusuke Uchiha's words, the two Shinigami guarding Kōga Kuchiki's cell visibly paled.
Kōga Kuchiki, despite his thoughts having been laid bare, attempted to maintain a façade of composure, vehemently denying Yusuke Uchiha's assertion. "What are you talking about? With my spiritual pressure suppressed, it's impossible for me to escape this prison cell."
The two guards echoed his denial with nervous laughter. "Captain Uchiha, surely you're jesting."
Yusuke Uchiha shook his head. "Do you understand why only two of you, with such weak spiritual pressure, were assigned to guard Kōga Kuchiki, a powerful 3rd Seat, and why his Zanpakutō was left here?"
"Once I leave," Yusuke Uchiha continued, "if he releases his Zanpakutō's power, you two will likely become its victims. And after escaping, Third Seat Kuchiki will have only solidified his guilt, ensuring his permanent disgrace within the Seireitei."
