Chapter 289 - Chapter 288— The Queen

The moment the door swung open, Ran saw Ryuji and he smiled, waving at her.

"Well then, my princess," he said warmly, "I've come to get you."

...

Despite all the doubts and confusion about her feelings for Ryuji, the moment she saw him appear at such a desperate time, Ran couldn't hold herself back. Still in her elegant dress, she ran straight into Ryuji's arms.

"Ryuji!"

Tears streamed down her face. Surrounded by terrorists, it would've been impossible not to be afraid but the instant she saw Ryuji, she knew instinctively that she was safe.

"Yeah, yeah… you're safe now."

Ryuji gently rubbed her head and held the trembling women in his arms.

Keith said nothing, he simply watched quietly.

"Oh, right."

Ryuji suddenly remembered something and turned toward Keith. If he recalled correctly, in the original story, this man eventually won Mira's heart.

"You already know who it is, don't you? The one who ordered the attack on the princess?"

Keith hesitated, but after thinking about Ryuji's terrifying display of strength, he finally spoke.

"Apologies. While I have my suspicions, I can't state them irresponsibly. However, I would like to hire you to help us handle this incident and to ensure that Princess Mira can ascend the throne safely. Would you be willing, Sir Ryuji?"

As he spoke, Keith silently took out his phone, tapped a few buttons, and showed the screen to Ryuji.

"Converted to yen, the payment would be about this much."

Ryuji glanced at the number. If converted into US dollar, it was at least four million.

For most people, that was the kind of money worth risking their lives for. But for Ryuji, it was… just average.

"Well… to be honest, that's quite a generous offer," he said with a light smile, "but no need. I've already received my reward. And besides, Ran will be rewarding me as well."

Ryuji chuckled softly as he hugged Ran in his arms. Whether he saved Mira or did somthing else, the reward he wanted was very simple...

A threesome.

That was all he wanted, a threesome with Ran and Mira together.

He'd always liked the setting of twins very much, and while Ran and Mira weren't technically sisters, their resemblance was astonishing. Their personalities, though, were very different... Mira was dominant and commanding, while Ran appeared strong but was, in truth, a gentle soft girl.

And amusingly enough, the truly "dominant" Princess Mira only had decent physical fitness, while Ran's raw power, especially in those legs was terrifying.

A single kick with tens of tons of force! The karate superwoman!

He couldn't help but imagine what those legs could do in more… delicate situation like a foot job, but Ryuji quickly erased the image Ran giving him a foot job from his mind. He still preferred using the pussy, after all.

"Huh?"

For the first time, Keith was visibly confused. He didn't understand what on earth Ryuji was talking about.

Ryuji, not caring to explain, sat down with Ran in his arms, asking why she hadn't gone home to wait for him in bed instead.

Flustered, Ran could only stammer something about having to stay with the princess and missing her karate training.

Meanwhile, once the Japanese government got serious, their response was lightning-fast. Within half an hour, after the special forces arrived, all remaining terrorists surrendered.

Keith, however, immediately turned and berated the apologetic Japanese police, because regardless of the details, this incident was a massive breach of security on their soil.

Not long after, Mira entered the room with Misato at her side.

"Keith, make the arrangements," she ordered. "Invite a detective named Kogoro Mouri. Once we return, I want to reopen the investigation into my mother's death. And also…"

Her gaze landed on Ryuji who was holding Mouri Ran in his arms like a princess and a flicker of irritation crossed her face.

She had been worried sick about Ryuji, afraid he'd died in the chaos. Yet the moment she walked in, she found him cuddling another woman... one who just happened to look exactly like her.

Jealousy, of course, needed no logic or reason. But for the sake of her country and her promise, she still spoke firmly:

"Prepare our citizenship papers for that man. He is my future husband."

At those words, Keith's head snapped up. He looked at Mira, who was still walking awkwardly, and instantly understood what Ryuji had meant earlier. Rage flashed through his eyes, he nearly drew his pistol on the spot to shoot Ryuji dead.

They had only been separated from their princess for one night and somehow, she'd been seduced by some random man, and now planned to make him a prince?!

This was more outrageous than hundreds of terrorists attacking them!

"Your Highness! Please reconsider!"

Keith shot to his feet, his voice trembling with emotion.

"Your marriage..."

"It concerns the fate of our nation, doesn't it?"

Mira cut him off with a cold, dismissive hum.

"You think you can take him down even if all of you attacked together?" Princess Mira's tone was sharp as her eyes narrowed slightly.

"And the girl in his arms, Ran her close friend is the heiress of the Suzuki Group, one of the most influential conglomerates in Japan. Another of his friends is Shizuko Imamura, a media tycoon whose newspapers shape public opinion across the country. To us, all of them are important allies. And, Keith, whether this nation remains stable or not has nothing to do with whom I marry. Stability depends entirely on the attitudes of those people."

Mira sighed softly. The reason she had chosen to visit Japan rather than America or China was simple.

Her country's resources weren't impressive enough for the great powers to value them, but pledging allegiance to either side would have been a fatal mistake. They needed a neutral ground somewhere both sides could communicate freely.

That place was Japan.

This country stood at the crossroads between the West and the East. America's backyard and within China's sphere of influence. Every deal made here would be visible to both, and both sides would benefit from her kingdom's exports.

That was what her mother had told her in that single hour.

As long as the contracts were signed here, and the materials were sold only to these two nations and their closest allies, no one will care even if their Kingdom of Vesbania resorts to cannibalism.

On the contrary, if they want to be independent, or have other thoughts...

The military from both countries would be there in an instant.

So she could not understand what her uncle had been thinking. To believe that their nation's strength could be determined by one rare mineral alone was pure madness.

In the past, as a princess, she had never needed to think about such things. But after her mother's death, she had no choice but to face reality.

Keith fell silent, he had mixed feelings. Though fiercely loyal to the royal family, he had never thought highly of Princess Mira. She'd never received proper political training. But now... it seemed she saw things far more clearly than anyone else.

"In short," Mira said calmly, "it doesn't matter whom I marry. That man won't care whether our children bear his last name or not."

Ryuji nodded slightly. He truly didn't care. He had crossed worlds, worrying about something like surnames would be ridiculous.

"But..."

"No 'buts,' Keith!" Mira snapped, cutting him off. "I am the Queen!"

Her tone left no room for argument. She needed Ryuji's strength, but she also knew his power could never be made public.

"In any case," she continued, "grant him legal citizenship in our country. In everyday life, act as if he doesn't exist. He and his companions don't need your protection."

Still, Mira's chest burned with frustration. Even as queen, she couldn't fully claim her own husband for herself and that infuriated her.

"But..."

Keith tried to speak again, but stopped when he noticed Mira's sharp glare toward Ryuji. From the teasing glint in Ryuji's eyes, she could already guess what kind of thoughts were running through his mind.

Mira bit her lip hard, torn between anger and the aching desire to see her mother again. Then, with sudden determination, she walked toward Ryuji and Ran. Before Ran could even react, Mira took both of their hands in hers.

It wasn't easy for her to do. But among all women, Mira found Ran tolerable even likable, in a way. Ran was gentle, soft-spoken, and naturally submissive, the type of girl who would unconsciously follow another's lead. Someone easy to manage, easy to coexist with.

And besides, Mira thought bitterly, when Ryuji was with Ran, it was almost like watching herself in the mirror. She could tolerate that.

With Ran involved, Mira could even slip away now and then... free from the suffocating duties of the palace. Knowing Ran's personality, it wouldn't be difficult at all.

So...

"Only Ran!"

Mira gritted her teeth, glaring at Ryuji as she declared her bottom line.

She could accept sharing him, but only with Ran. Any other woman was absolutely out of the question.

After saying that, she grabbed both Ryuji and Ran by the hands and began walking toward her bedroom. Then she turned back toward Keith and spoke firmly.

"I'll explain everything when we return to our country, Keith. I'm fully prepared to face anything, so don't think I'm being impulsive. I already know exactly what I'm walking into."

Her words left Keith silent. He could now see clearly that the princess... no, the queen had indeed grown. But still…

Watching her drag a man and a girl who looked exactly like her into the bedroom left a swirl of complicated emotions in his chest.

And the most important thought that crossed his mind was-

"Investigate it."

His expression didn't change as he issued the quiet command to the aide beside him.

"What do you mean, sir?"

"Find out if that girl's father has ever visited Vespania."

Keith drew a long breath. Black hair wasn't rare in Vespania, after all, they were a multi-ethnic country, but two people looking so identical was too much to ignore. And the fact that the princess had immediately invited Kogoro Mouri to investigate the late queen's death only deepened his suspicion.

Because, the late queen had visited Japan many times. And if, by any chance…

Keith didn't want to think that way. But if there truly was such a possibility, they couldn't allow the royal bloodline to be left unchecked, could they?

And besides, if that turned out to be true, Ryuji's sudden involvement with the princess would seem far less scandalous, even defensible before the public.

Yes, Keith was indeed a loyal retainer.

But at this very moment, Ryuji couldn't have cared less about his loyalty.

Inside the room, he watched with mild amusement as Princess Mira, now silent and visibly tense, stood across from him and Ran, who still looked utterly lost, having no idea why she'd been dragged into this or why the princess had suddenly declared Ryuji her husband.

Finally, Mira glared at Ryuji, then took Ran's hand in hers and broke the heavy silence.

"In short, Ran..."

Mira took a deep breath.

"We're going to share a husband. And…"

She wrapped her arms around Ran and then under Ryuji's gaze took off Ran's panties and, as Ran watched in horror, pressed her down on the bed, exposing her own butt cheeks and Ran's pussy in front of him.

"We'll be serving him together in the same bed."
