After Henry explained everything about his talk with his mother, I felt a bit more at ease.
"Are you alright, Camila? You seem lost in thought," he asked with concern.
"I'm fine, just… thinking," I replied softly. "Thanks for telling me about your mom. Honestly, I thought you'd found someone else. I guess I was just overthinking."
He smiled gently and placed his hand on mine. "But this is serious, Camila. My mother is trying to force me into marrying someone I don't love."
"Well, isn't that what most wealthy families do? Marry off their children to each other to protect their wealth?" I teased, trying to lighten the mood.
Henry chuckled. "Hahaha... Very funny, Camila. But it's not funny to me. My mother can be so... Ugh!"
