Henry's POV
Flashback
"Let's get this party started!" Helen shouted enthusiastically.
I wasn't really in the mood for partying, but Helen had been persistent. She said I needed to blow off some steam, and after the kind of week I'd had, maybe she was right.
When we stepped inside, Helen headed straight for the bar.
"Hello, I'll have two shots of tequila," she ordered, sliding onto the stool.
"I'll, uh... get what she's having as well," I said. I didn't want to overdo it, but a drink or two wouldn't hurt.
Helen turned to me with a sly smile. "Are you ready to have some fun?"
I nodded, the tension in my shoulders already starting to ease.
The club was loud, the bass of the music vibrating through the floor, the lights flashing with intensity. There was a buzz in the air, and though I wasn't a party person, I could feel myself loosening up.
Helen grabbed my hand suddenly. "Come dance with me!"
I pulled back slightly. "Nah… I'm not really in the mood to dance right now."
