Chapter 127 - Save

Last night, we took a bath and went to bed early. This morning, I woke up early, "Ha~ah~~," I yawned. Enis and Suōshā were still fast asleep. I checked my body; although my energy hadn't fully recovered, my stamina was almost back to normal. In this state, teleportation shouldn't be an issue. Speaking of which, what exactly is this Sword god sword? It drained so much of my energy before I even used it. If I hadn't been trapped in the void for decades and refined my skills, I might've ended up like the Sword God himself.Last night, the two of them prepared a delicious meal and were exhausted, so I'll take care of breakfast. Thinking this, I headed to the kitchen to cook. After a while, I pushed the prepared breakfast back to the bedroom. "Time to wake up and eat, my two lovely wives!" I tried to rouse them. "Ugh, what time is it?" Suōshā opened her eyes and asked. "Around 7 a.m., though there's no real daytime in the demon realm," I replied. "Come on, Enis, you need to get up too," I nudged her. "Just a bit longer," she mumbled, pulling the blanket over her head. "Fine, I'll leave you behind and go!" I teased. "No, I'm up, I'm up!" Enis rubbed her eyes and responded. "That's more like it. There's nothing urgent for us in the new city now. The priority is to head back to Earth and check on my parents' safety," I said, helping her wipe her face."You're overthinking it, hubby. Your home planet Earth may have faced some troubles, but it's just the cycle of karma. The mortals there accumulated heavy sins, leading to this calamity, though you forcibly intervened in the end," Suōshā said with a smile. "Is that so? Are my parents safe then?" I asked her. "Your parents are perfectly fine. Earth doesn't need your interference right now; the interstellar alliance of your universe is secretly protecting it," she replied casually. "So what can I do? Just sit around blindly waiting?" "Not at all. It's been years since you've seen your parents, so it's good to visit them. You can also deal with some troublemakers while you're at it. Just don't use the Sword god sword on Earth—it'd be bad if you accidentally pierced the planet," Suōshā said with a laugh. "Got it. Let's have breakfast first, then get ready to head out," I said, pushing the breakfast cart forward.Today, I made simple sandwiches and a milk-vegetable salad. "This is nice, it's really tasty!" Suōshā said, trying a sandwich for the first time. "It's easy to make. Enis and I can teach you later," I replied while eating. After breakfast, we got dressed and prepared to leave. "Alright, let's go! Destination: my hometown, Earth!" I said, holding their hands. "I'm ready, hubby!" Enis replied with a smile. I used teleportation, and we took off toward Earth. On Earth, the war in the West Pacific showed no signs of easing. Inside the Freemasons' headquarters, Jonathan stared at a strategic map on his laptop. "The situation in Asia is already surrounded. It won't take long for results. It's time to prepare for the takeover," he said. "Hold on. Japan's latter half is struggling a bit. We might need to provide more aid to ensure a stronger victory," said Finance Minister Berg. "The currency is currently supported by the G7, so fluctuations are minimal, but capital flight is still unstoppable." Duke Zonderson sipped his whiskey and said slowly, "Those are minor details. We'll rebuild and prop things up after the war."We arrived on Earth, landing near my hometown. "Is this your hometown, hubby? It looks like a mess," Suōshā asked. "Yeah, something definitely happened here. Let's head home and check things out," I said, leading them toward my house.
