---------------

One Day Ago…

After returning to Baterilla Island, Ikki wasted no time and summoned the two characters he had drawn—Captain America and Hatake Kakashi.

Naturally, both were disoriented when they suddenly appeared in an unfamiliar world.

For Captain America, it wasn't too shocking—after all, waking up from the ice after decades was already ridiculous. Transmigration? Just another thing to adapt to.

But Kakashi? That was a different story.

As a ninja, his instincts were sharp, and his vigilance was sky-high. He was already assessing threats, escape routes, and whether he was in some kind of genjutsu.

Ikki didn't bother explaining much. He simply said, "If you want to return to your original world, you'll have to stick with me."

Captain America, after sizing up Ikki and Ace, decided to temporarily trust them. Neither of them seemed evil, and the people on Baterilla were kind.

Kakashi?

He didn't buy it. At the first opportunity, he left.

Who needed a boat? A ninja could run across water.

But… it only took him half a day to return.

Why?

Because he couldn't find Konoha at all.

No matter how far he traveled, no one had even heard of the Five Great Nations.

After thorough investigation, Kakashi finally accepted the truth—he was no longer in his own world.

And so, reluctantly, he returned to Baterilla Island.

A few days later…

"Steve! Kakashi! There's another cargo ship!"

Ikki called out to Captain America and Kakashi, who were busy—one training, the other reading.

Hearing this, Captain America immediately paused his workout, while Kakashi casually formed a hand seal.

Poof!

A Shadow Clone appeared beside him, ready to help.

Captain America couldn't help but whistle. "Man, that jutsu is convenient."

"It's just a clone. I can do that too," Ace chimed in, stepping forward.

Unlike Kakashi, Ace didn't use hand seals. Instead, his body melted, stretching and splitting until—

Now, two Aces stood there.

Ikki blinked. "Hey… Ace, you actually developed a cloning technique?"

Ace grinned. "Once you understand the properties of the Slime-Slime Fruit, making a clone is easy."

With that, the three of them headed to the warehouse by the port.

This was where they stored oysters before shipments arrived to collect them. Whenever a cargo ship came in, Ikki and the others would help load the goods.

Selling oysters didn't make much money, but it kept them occupied.

However, as the cargo ship approached, Ikki noticed something was off.

The ship looked like an ordinary cargo vessel, but… the people standing on the deck weren't the usual merchants.

Instead, there were two masked figures.

They wore white suits, one of them donning a gentleman's top hat, and both had patterned white masks covering their faces.

The moment Ikki saw them, his heart sank.

These outfits… they screamed CP.

Ace noticed as well.

"Could it be… the massacre of pregnant women is about to begin?" Ikki muttered.

Hearing this, Ace's expression darkened. His fists clenched.

"Ikki, we have to stop them!"

The massacre at Baterilla Island…

Yes, the true culprits were the World Government.

But the blame—the sin—would forever be placed on Gol D. Roger and Portgas D. Ace.

Ace wasn't born yet, meaning he couldn't stop everything from happening right now.

But in the future?

He could.

Hearing Ace's determination, Ikki nodded.

"It must be stopped!"

As for concerns about the timeline? Not an issue. Preventing the massacre of pregnant women wouldn't affect Ace's birth.

Rouge, with her unwavering resolve, would still endure the pain and prolong her pregnancy to protect Ace's identity.

Meanwhile, Steve Rogers looked confused as he tried to piece together Ikki and Ace's conversation.

Kakashi, on the other hand, had his eyes locked onto the masked men on the cargo ship's deck.

He could feel it—danger radiated from them.

So far, only Ikki and Ace had given him that feeling. Captain America? Kakashi had an odd sense that a fight between them would never have a decisive outcome.

Ikki noticed Steve's curiosity and quickly filled him in on what was about to happen.

The moment Captain America heard that the World Government was planning to massacre innocent pregnant women just to kill a single unborn child…

His eyes changed.

Captain America was a man of absolute justice. There was no way he'd allow this to happen.

"We must stop them!"

"Yeah! Definitely!"

Under their watchful eyes, the cargo ship finally docked.

At the same time, a dog-headed warship slowly approached from a distance.

Seeing it, Ikki immediately knew—Garp was here too.

"Looks like the timeline won't change much after all…"

As the two CP agents disembarked, their masked faces briefly glanced at Ikki and the others before looking away. Then, one of them spoke:

"Commence the operation."

At that moment, dozens of black-clad agents burst out from the cargo hold.

All of them used Moonwalk, leaping into the air and dashing toward Baterilla Island.

But they didn't get far.

Captain America moved first.

He grabbed his vibranium shield, spun around, and hurled it.

The shield slammed into one of the CP agents, knocking him clean out of the air.

But that wasn't the end of it.

Instead of returning immediately, the shield ricocheted off the first target, striking two more before finally flying back into Cap's grasp.

Three agents down in an instant.

The two CP leaders instantly shifted their attention to Captain America and Ikki.

But their subordinates didn't falter. Trained to absolute obedience, the remaining agents continued their mission, speeding toward the town without hesitation.

Seeing this, Ikki turned to Kakashi.

"Kakashi, I'm leaving the ones who slip through to you!"

Without a word, Kakashi formed a hand seal.

Poof!

A dozen Shadow Clones appeared, instantly scattering to intercept the remaining agents.

Meanwhile, Ace sprang into action.

Spreading his flaming wings, he soared toward the airborne CP agents.

Extending both index fingers, he used his signature move—Fire Gun!

Small yet fast fire bullets shot from his fingertips, aimed at the CP agents mid-air.

But… none of them hit.

Ace frowned.

"Huh?"

Every shot missed.

If Ikki had been paying attention, he would've warned Ace—he couldn't hit airborne targets yet.

Even though Fire Gun was part of his Devil Fruit ability, once the projectiles left his body, they were considered flying objects—something he had no control over yet.

But Ace wasn't about to back down.

If his attacks weren't landing, then—

He'd go himself.

Flames burst from Ace's feet as he used them as propulsion, rocketing into the sky.

With a fiery spin, he unleashed Fire Dragon's Wing Attack, blasting through four black-clad CP agents in a single strike.
