Fang Yuan turned his attention away from his aperture for the time being.
He then went toward the area underneath Qing Mao Mountain where the first gen Gu Yue had rested. The Blood River Graveyard remained there, along with various blood path gu worms Fang Yuan had kept hidden to avoid alerting the world to his blood path cultivation. They had easy access to food there, however, as blood continued to flow into the area from all around the mountain thanks to first gen Gu Yue's machinations.
Among these was the Blood Chariot Wheel. While it was currently a mortal gu house and not a very impressive one at that with only a few gu worms, Fang Yuan saw the potential to advance it into a more complex and elegant gu house in the future if he so desired. This would have to be weighed against the risks of being exposed as a Blood Path Cultivator, but one could only worry about that if one was still alive.
Despite using advanced investigative methods, he found no further clues regarding the Ancient Moon Desolate Yin Physique beyond what he had already extracted from the information Liu Nan had left him.
In other words, he was still quite far from being able to obtain it. Although Fang Yuan already had the Righteous Virtue Physique, experimenting on the Ancient Moon Desolate Yin Physique could still yield dividends in the future.
But he had no further foundation upon which to build such experiments despite his increased resources. He had too many goals to waste time on it, but he could keep it somewhere in the middle of his to-do list.
Just as he prepared to leave, a strange radiance caught his eye.
"Hmm?" Fang Yuan muttered.
Through his more refined investigative methods, he realized he had stumbled upon a hidden dream realm.
He hadn't detected it previously, likely due to the underdeveloped nature of Dream Path methods in the current era and lack of an ability to identify it.
Either that, or this dream realm had only emerged recently. This was the time period when dream realms would become more ubiquitous, after all.
Currently, Fang Yuan's soul was still recovering from the strain of Immortal Ascension. Without access to Guts Gu from Dang Hun Mountain - which he could not get yet as the Hu Immortal Inheritance had not opened yet - its recovery was slow. There were alternative ways to replenish the strength of his soul. The issue was that none of them were quite as effective moreover they had their own side effects.
He decided to capture the dream realm and store it in a corner of the White Heaven within his aperture, resolving to take a deeper look at it later.
"If I am not mistaken, this is a Blood Path Dream Realm," he mused. Exploring it could potentially push his attainment from Grandmaster to Quasi-Great Grandmaster or even Great Grandmaster. This would make solving the issues of the Desolate Yin Physique far more expedient.
If he wanted to, he could try and use Dreams of Love and Happiness Gu to forcefully solve this dream realm without damaging his soul. The issue was that it would be a waste - not just in terms of Immortal Essence but also in the amount of attainment he could squeeze out of the dream realm.
Fang Yuan knew the value of patience and that he would just have to wait it out for now.
There were a few other things of value on the mountain he could grab before heading to the Mushroomman Blessed Land. There were some Moon Orchids that he could place within his aperture's Black Heaven. They were not worth much on Yellow Treasure Heaven unless he could make a massive field of them - larger than the Gu Yue Clan had ever managed to develop themselves, but they also cost little to nothing in terms of raising them either.
They developed quite well in the environment of his aperture's Black Heaven where they would be shielded from most of the light from below, and the moisture from the land below condensed upon them and allowed them to continue growing.
Fang Yuan then turned his attention to the Mushroomman Blessed Land, the inheritance left to him by Paradise Earth Immortal Venerable. As he entered through the portal and soared through the skies, he saw the Mushroommen working their fields and they saw him as well. Fang Yuan made no attempt to hide his presence even though he could easily do so - what was the point?
Rather than show alarm, many of them excitedly pointed up at Fang Yuan as he passed overhead. It was like people back on Earth getting excited when they saw a helicopter or plane passing by.
Children would stop playing to point up at him, sometimes even calling on their friends from within their houses to come out and get a better look at the flying man above them.
"Oh, is that an Immortal?"
"Mommy, mommy, I want to see the Immortal too!"
"Paradise Earth truly kept very good care of them," Fang Yuan muttered. They had no fear of Immortals - then again, why would they?
The Mushroomman Villages were arranged all over the Blessed Land in an almost spider-web like network. They communicated with each other and were otherwise independent; but one of the villages was far larger than the others. Fang Yuan decided to call it the Mushroomman 'capital' and landed there.
The Mushroomman Houses were mainly either huts or large mushrooms that they had hollowed out the bases of to live within. Fang Yuan landed near the largest of said houses and used gu worms to call upon the head of this village.
An elderly Mushroomman soon came to meet with him. He had a kind but worried expression on his face. "This lowly village chief greeets Lord Immortal."
"Greetings," Fang Yuan said. "How goes life in the village."
"Thanks to the continued grace of Lord Paradise Earth Immortal Venerable, it proceeds fairly," he answered. He had a bit of a nervous tick to his actions, however. "Is Lord Immortal here to speak about taxes?"
Paradise Earth had not asked them for anything - but Paradise Earth had no lack of resources being invincible in the world. As he understood, this inheritor would definitely want something. The man only hoped that the asking price was not too high.
"I am here to discuss the production of pills actually," Fang Yuan stated plainly.
During his dream realm exploration of the Immortal Apothecary's Blessed Land, he had gotten to understand much about the Pill Path. And the Mushroommen there had been very useful in its development, and he expected the same to be true now as well.
As the Pill Path was currently suppressed by Heaven's Will, Fang Yuan's quasi-Master attainment gave him a significant edge in a wider world where such knowledge was nearly non-existent.
It was simple enough to understand - knowledge was more valuable the more scarce it was.
Take the Dream Path for example. Fang Yuan's insight into it was only surface level at best when compared to what the big players had been doing 500 years in the future. Right now though, even these small scraps of knowledge were worth more than ordinary inheritance. Currently people delving into the Dream Path were running around in the dark - the slightest bit of luminesce would greatly accelerate their understanding and development.
Such went for the Pill Path as well. Fang Yuan could leverage his knowledge by selling the information directly, or better yet retain a monopoly by selling the products so that he could maintain hold on the secrets for longer. But he needed large-scale production in order to do so.
