Chapter 104 - Ravage them

While the other Kadoyas went on their little adventures, Kadoya Uchiha stayed behind in the Uchiha Clan compound, buried in the dimly lit archives. Dusty shelves stretched along the walls, filled with records, reports, and scrolls. His eyes scanned lazily through documents until one particular scroll caught his attention, a thick, aged one sealed with the clan's crest.

Breaking the seal, he unrolled it carefully. The scroll revealed a massive, branching family tree of the Uchiha, names stretching back generations, written in neat, bold strokes.

Tracing the lines, Kadoya's eyes narrowed. His and Natsumi's names appeared under Kagami Uchiha, recorded as his children. Yet, something odd stood out. The mother's name had been written, then violently crossed out with thick black ink, as if someone wanted to erase her existence from history.

Kadoya paused, staring at that blotched name. A strange emptiness tugged at him. For a moment, the reminder hit him, his parents were someone else entirely, not just Tiamama. She had been there for him and Minato for so long that she'd simply become their mother. They had even started calling her "Mom" naturally, as if she had always been there.

And truthfully, since both he and Minato had lost their real parents so young, with no memories to cling to, neither of them held any deep attachment to their blood parents. To them, Tiamama was more real than any forgotten name inked on a scroll.

Speaking of Tiamama, at that very moment, she was out with Naori, shopping for baby clothes. Nobu, against all odds, had managed to get her pregnant. Only two months along, but Tiamama was already in full preparation mode, bustling about with the energy of a general leading a campaign. She had unilaterally declared herself "the number one grandmother" and no one dared argue.

Even Kakashi wasn't safe. Though technically her "adopted grandson," the silver-haired brat still hadn't gathered the courage to call him dad yet. Which meant every time he ran into Tiamat, the air turned painfully awkward. For Kakashi, that is. Tiamat herself never seemed to mind in the slightest. If her children and grandchildren gave her affection, she returned it wholeheartedly. If they acted distant, she simply shrugged and went about her day, unbothered.

That was what made the day Kadoya and Minato first called her "Mom" so special. Her joy was so overwhelming she let out a soft, instinctive roar, a sound that, while affectionate, nearly gave Kurama a heart attack. The Nine-Tails had begged Kushina to reinforce his seals for a few days afterward, refusing to risk hearing that terrifying sound again.

After all, to Tailed Beasts, the roar of the Beast of Humanity was something far beyond the Ten-Tails itself. The Ten-Tails' destruction at least came with warning, time to brace, time to prepare. But that roar? That was simply existence asserting dominance. A reminder of what true apex predators sounded like.

Anyway, back to the topic of his birth parent.

"Could you tell me about my birth mother?" Kadoya finally asked, seated with the elders of the Uchiha Clan. His posture was casual, but his eyes held a weight that made the elders sit straighter, their old spines suddenly stiff.

Setsuna Uchiha cleared his throat, visibly uneasy. "She… her name is Kali Uchiha. She was Kagami's wife, up until his death. Afterward, she was… seen in the company of a Senju clansman."

"So was she caught in the act, or…?" Kadoya's tone was eerily calm, the sort of calm that made the air heavy, like the silence before a storm.

"Not exactly…" Elder Kitoki spoke up reluctantly, sweat running down his old face. "She was found with him, yes, but not in bed or in any compromising state."

"So, they didn't do anything?" Kadoya pressed, voice still steady but carrying a bite that made their palms sweat.

"We didn't catch them doing anything," Setsuna admitted. "But that Senju man shouted, accusing Kali of being unfaithful to Kagami. Then..." his face darkened, "...then Hiruzen Sarutobi barged in, demanding that the Uchiha 'take responsibility' and expel her. He played it off as righteous indignation, 'Kagami was my friend! How could you let this happen?', but in truth, he only wanted to weaken us further."

Kadoya leaned back slightly, eyes narrowing. "That… sounds exactly like something Danzo would orchestrate."

The elders nodded grimly in agreement.

Fumo, the quietest among them, finally spoke. His voice carried shame. "At that time, we had already lost Clan Head Madara, much of our wealth, and our reputation. The villages had begun treating us like pariahs, branding us traitors. We could not risk defending Kali openly, not when our survival as a Clan hung by a thread."

"I see." Kadoya's tone was flat. "So to protect the Clan, you sacrificed an individual. Understandable…"

A tense silence settled. The elders looked ready to bow their heads and accept whatever punishment their Clan Head deemed fit.

Finally, Kojiro, the boldest of the group, let out a tired sigh. "Uhh… Clan Head. If you're going to drag us out to dance, just do it already. No need to keep building the suspense, it's bad for our old hearts."

Kadoya: "…"

"Tch." He clicked his tongue, standing up. "Although you all bear some of the blame, this was a mistake born from pride, when your muscles and egos were larger than your brains and hearts. I'll forgive it… but only this once. Make sure something like this never happens again. A Clan that refuses to defend its own member is simply worthless." He spoke with a righteous edge, but inside he knew the truth.

She may be my mother, but she isn't my mom.

Without another word, Kadoya turned and left the house, leaving many elders collapsed, clutching their hearts.

Walking through the streets of the compound, his thoughts spun. His eyes drifted to the blue sky overhead as he murmured to himself, "I should ask Pendragon to get me Karasuki…"

His mind pulled back to his memory of the possible future. Boruto. A continuation he never bothered to care about, disappointing to most Naruto fans. Still, there had been that one arc, where Boruto and a chakra-starved Future Sasuke used Karasuki, the Otsutsuki's turtle-like device, to travel back in time. Fans had loved seeing young Naruto again, even if the series as a whole was… well… a letdown.

The idea stuck in Kadoya's mind like a spark. If Karasuki existed, he could use it. He could dig into truths that even scrolls refused to tell.

Identity Clone Jutsu!

Kadoya formed a single hand seal, summoning forth a clone, an extension of himself, split with its own personality. Like ordinary Shadow Clones, this one, crafted from his Identity Clone technique, could communicate freely with his other selves, while still retaining the same memory-link upon dispelling.

A moment later, Pendragon's clone materialized in front of him, smirking as if he'd been summoned from a throne.

"What? Miss me already?" Pendragon's voice carried his usual arrogance.

Kadoya smirked back. "Locate Karasuki. And no, I don't mean some random guy named Karasuki, I mean the time-traveling device."

Pendragon scoffed, crossing his arms. "You dare give an order to a King?"

"King of what kingdom?" Kadoya shot back smoothly. "Just find Karasuki. I have use for it."

Without waiting for a retort, he dispelled the clone. Pendragon would get the memory soon enough, whether he liked it or not.

...

"Interesting…" Kadoya Pendragon murmured in amusement, hands tucked lazily into his coat as he strolled beside the raging Kadoya Uzumaki. Behind them trailed Tobirama Senju, his face hard, his eyes flicking between the devastation and the two bizarre allies he now followed.

"It seems," Pendragon continued with a sly smirk, gaze drifting over the bodies of Kumogakure shinobi littering the streets, "that after this, my servant may finally prove useful in helping me search for my next treasure."

Tobirama glanced at him sharply.

Servant...

He let the word slide, knowing full well that if he tried to fight back, the one who would get beaten up would be him. Instead, he gestured toward Uzumaki, whose golden chains lashed through the air with murderous grace, impaling Kumo-nin, tearing walls apart, smashing what remained of the village's defenses.

"Should we… do something about this, Master?" Tobirama asked carefully, watching as another squad of shinobi screamed before being torn apart.

Pendragon didn't even flinch. "Tell me, Tobirama. What would you do if your clan was wiped out, your homeland burned to the ground, and the survivors of your blood turned into toys for another village's? If you didn't lose your mind upon learning that truth…" He tilted his head, icy amusement in his tone. "Then you aren't human at all."

Tobirama's jaw tightened, but he found himself nodding. Pendragon wasn't wrong. If the Senju had been annihilated like that, he would've lost himself as well. The thought alone made his stomach twist.

Still, his pride itched.

If this golden bastard wasn't holding my leash, I'd already be on my way back to Konoha. My students deserve more than a "few pats on the head"…

"So," Tobirama asked again, trying to temper the storm in his chest, "should we help him? He is part of Konoha, after all."

Pendragon stopped, then slowly turned to him with a grin that was far too sharp to be friendly. Crimson eyes gleamed with mischief and greed.

"No. While he's busy tearing this place apart, we'll do what I do best." His voice dropped to a conspiratorial whisper. "Strip the corpse clean. Wealth, weapons, treasures, anything of value this village has hoarded, it's ours now."

Before Tobirama could argue, Pendragon grabbed him by the collar, his movements as casual as if he were plucking a stray cat off the street.

"Come, servant. Time waits for no one!"

Using the body flicker, the two vanished, leaving behind only the golden chains of Uzumaki's fury carving Kumogakure into ruin.

Meanwhile, the Raikage and Kumogakure's elites gathered, forming a tight circle around Kadoya Uzumaki.

"Which village are you from!?" one Kumo-nin barked in fury, knuckles white as he gripped his kunai.

Kadoya only spared him a passing glance, the kind of look one gives a bug before squashing it. Without a word, his hands snapped into a seal.

Ice Style: Frozen Expanse of Eternal Winter!

Both palms slammed into the ground, and the earth shuddered violently. Snow cascaded from the sky, thickening by the second, while a deathly chill swept across the entire village.

The effect of the Ice Jutsu, mixed with the power of the Demon's Extract, was directly shown. Crops shriveled into ice sculptures, water sources froze solid, the air itself seemed to turn into knives. Many of the lightly dressed shinobi shivered uncontrollably as the freezing cold gnawed at their dark, muscular frames.

Sensing the threat, Raikage A wasted no time. His Lightning Chakra Cloak flared to life, wrapping his hulking body in crackling armor as he charged straight toward Kadoya, fist cocked back with murderous intent.

Kadoya raised one hand, forming a seal. A heartbeat later, the Raikage's colossal fist punched straight through his chest, golden chains snapping forward but failing to pierce A's iron hide. They only coiled around him.

The Kumo-nin roared in triumph. For an instant, it seemed victory was theirs.

The Raikage widened his eyes, seeing the other party's cold crimson eyes locked onto him with unnatural calm. Kadoya's crimson hair whipped violently in the blizzard as his other hand clamped tight on the Raikage's arm.

The body he had struck lost all color, turning crystalline before their eyes. Ice spread outward, freezing A in place.

"A trap!?" the Raikage muttered, trying to wrench himself free.

He quickly turns back to warn his subordinate, only to freeze at the sight of a crimson figure, holding a massive crimson scythe, looming ominously behind the still shocked Kumo-nins.

Kadoya Uzumaki swung Crescent Rose in one smooth arc. Half a dozen Kumo shinobi were severed at the waist, their blood spraying across the falling snow and staining it a hideous red.

"Monster!" one jonin screamed, unleashing Lightning Jutsu from afar.

He vanished once more, reappearing behind that jonin, and with one swing, his body was cut in half.

Not all Kumo shinobi are top-tier Kage-level powerhouses like the Raikage; they could rush in to try to attack, but can't pull out in time to avoid the golden chains.

Not to mention, Kadoya's own reflexes weren't low either, so anytime they got into his attack range, his chains would already position right in front of them, just casually waiting for them to impale themselves.

"You bastard!" The Raikage bellowed, muscles straining as he shattered the ice trap. His lightning cloak blazing brighter, he lunged once more.

Ice Style: Frost Substitution Clone

Kadoya made a single hand seal just as Raikage's fist crashed into his chest once more, only for the body to freeze, turning into pure solid ice and trapping the Raikage again. Landing lightly on his feet, Kadoya's glowing crimson eyes locked onto the trapped Raikage's neck, Crescent Rose raised high, ready to strike.

"Get away from him!!"

A loud voice shouted from behind, a blur of movement, and Kadoya quickly avoided the powerful punch from a tall, dark skin man who didn't look so different from the Raikage himself.

Seeing him, Kadoya realized this is A, the future Four Raikage. The Third Raikage's son, the so-called prince of Kumogaku.

"Father, are you alright?" Another one jumped down beside the Third Raikage. Although this one didn't look much different from the other two, those black glasses alone were enough to tell him this is Killer Bee, the current Eight-Tails Jinchuriki.

Kumo naming senses is... somewhat simple, with people being named A, B, C, J, K quite literally, then some normal names. Should have gone for the full alphabet.

"I'm fine." The Raikage said, finally shattering the ice trap before standing beside his two sons. "Status?"

"Most civilians are evacuated. Jonin and chunin reinforcements inbound," A replied.

Kadoya laughed, spreading his arms wide as if to welcome them. "And what are they going to do? Dance with me?"

For a fleeting second, the Raikage's pupils shrank. That word, dance, rekindled memories of another Uzumaki. A scar on his neck throbbed as if mocking him.

The one who fell at Uzushiogakure.

"Bee," he barked, voice sharp. "Transform. Go full Eight-Tails. We can't let this man leave alive."

For once, Killer Bee didn't rap or joke. He simply nodded, eyes hardening.

"Let's go, Gyūki!" Killer Bee shouted in his mind as his body began to transform into the colossal form of the Eight-Tails: ox-demon head, human torso, and writhing octopus legs that shook the battlefield.

Kadoya wasn't intimidated by this, seeing how he alone is enough to play around with a full Nine-Tails. In the series, a half Nine-Tails is enough to body multiple other Tailed-Beasts alone, proving just how much chakra the Nine-Tails truly has compared to the other Tailed-Beasts.

Hagoromo Otsutsuki's idea of splitting the Ten-Tails chakra probably went something like this. One for Shukaku, one for Kurama, one for Matatabi, one for Kurama, and so on. When compared to the other, Kurama undoubtedly has the most amount of chakra. Even its size is much larger compared to the other Tailed-Beasts.

"Come... Gyūki." Kadoya said confidently, causing the massive Eight-Tails to freeze upon hearing its name from the mouth of a stranger who isn't its Jinchuriki.

Kadoya hears a notification from his system, but he quickly brushes it off.

Biting his finger, his other hand snapped into a seal.

"Summoning Jutsu!"

Smoke exploded, and from within it emerged a humanoid figure. Red-suited-like skin, black feather wings, a large top hat, and a black mask-like face with horns, and a wide, unsettling grin splitting its face.

"I'll bury this village in eternal snow and set this land in a never-ending blaze," Kadoya declares, standing in front of them.

"Arsene," He declared, voice dripping with command. "Ravage them."

Arsene spread his wings, and a pillar of blue fire erupted skyward. The unnatural flames surged through the village, devouring wood, stone, and flesh alike. Snow fell, frost spread, but the flames never faltered.

Fire and ice raged together in unnatural harmony, a hellscape born from one man's wrath.

AN: Yo, Ace here. Sorry for the overdue long update, mostly my fault since I have low motivation to continue this story. Mostly because most of the Naruto stories I read here all ended somewhat the same, which makes me feel bored and lose more interest in Naruto's story in general. So after some time thinking, I went and scrapped an entire storyline here cause I don't like how it was going. Currently, I have to figure out a new ending for this story that I quite like. I will try to finish this story, but I will notify you all if I decide to drop this story.

- You guys can leave your questions here if you like. -
