On his relentless quest to collect all of the world's treasures, Kadoya Pendragon found himself knee-deep in dirt, shoveling with manic purpose. The hole he dug revealed a corpse clad in tarnished blue armor, its once-snow-white hair now matted and gray with age and grime.
"Finally… found you, you son of a bitch," Kadoya muttered, a crooked smile creeping onto his face as he unearthed the long-lost body of Tobirama Senju.
Unlike the First Hokage, who died in Konoha, Tobirama died outside the village, risking his life for the Will of Fire, letting old leaves burn so young leaves could grow. Then his student used the Will of Fire to burn away young leaves so that the old one could continue to stand.
Wait… that didn't sound quite right.
Anyway, back to the main matter right now.
"Let's see, is there any White Zetsu nearby." Kadoya murmurs, looking around with a devilish grin, the Millennium Ring within him pointing toward a certain direction.
After sealing away Tobirama's corpse, Kadoya immediately dashed in the direction of the White Zetsu.
Somewhere beneath the earth…
Two White Zetsu lounged on the ground, talking nonsense as usual.
"Hey, do you ever wonder what it feels like to take a shit?" one of them asked, tilting its head at its identical companion.
"How the hell would I know? Madara-sama never gave us-"
Its words were cut short.
A hand shot out from the dirt like a serpent, and thick, wet chakra fibers exploded from the palm, latching onto both their faces. In one swift motion, the Zetsu were yanked through the soil like weeds being ripped from the ground.
If the two White Zetsu were to possess a butt hole, they might actually shit themselves right there and then.
The White Zetsu, although weak in combat ability, have powerful sensory and scouting abilities. With the Mayfly technique, they could merge with the ground and flora to travel at very high speeds. Combined with their ability to transfer information, create spore clones, along with a parasite technique that can't be sensed by natural-chakra sensing ability.
That also does not mention, Madara infuses Hashirama's cell into them, giving them a high regenerative ability alongside giving the White Zetsu a large amount of Yang Chakra.
This makes them perfect for the Edo Tensei target.
Kadoya simply seals away one White Zetsu before placing the other one down to be used as a sacrifice.
"Let's see, according to Orochimaru..." He murmurs, forming hand seals, using [Chakra Manipulation] to guide Tobirama's soul to his new body.
"Impure World Reincarnation!"
A white circle formed underneath the tie-up White Zetsu, it screamed, unable to do anything as white paper covered its body, slowly rising and forming into the reanimated body of the Second Hokage.
"The Impure World Reincarnation…?"
Tobirama murmured, inspecting his reconstructed hand. He narrowed his eyes as he locked onto the figure standing before him.
"Who are you? How do you know this jutsu!?"
In an instant, the Second Hokage's killing intent flared. His body shifted into a battle-ready stance.
"Tch. Mongrel! You dare raise your voice at me?" Kadoya snapped, his expression twisting into one of theatrical arrogance. "Do you want me to make you sprint through Konoha in nothing but your underwear?"
"You! You bastard!" Tobirama snarled. "Have you no respect for the dead!?"
"Why should I respect the life of a mongrel?" Kadoya shot back, his voice thick with disdain. With a flick of his hand, his aura erupted, merged with the power of Ea, unleashing a crimson cyclone that roared around him.
The earth cracked. Trees exploded into splinters. The very wind screamed with chaotic destruction.
"KONO POWA!!!" (This power!!!)
Tobirama's eyes widened as the red storm shredded his reanimated body. The blast left a smoldering crater, wiping out everything in its path.
From the dust, Kadoya emerged, walking calmly toward the slowly regenerating Second Hokage. A cocky smirk played on his lips.
After years of having Ea sealed inside him, Kadoya could now tap into Ea's power to form crimson-like planetary destruction wind on his own. Of course, he needs to charge it up if he wants to achieve a destructive level like hers.
The best method is still to just pull Ea out and release her Bankai full force, but since he doesn't need to use that type of power on someone like Tobirama. So he only shows a portion of it, mostly to just show off.
Since the current him, Kadoya Pendragon, not Kadoya Uchiha. So he doesn't have a passionate urge to tie Tobirama up at the front gate and turn him into a guard dog.
"Enough talk, mongrel." Kadoya waved him off. "I, the King of Heroes. And you'll serve me now. As my loyal subject, you'll help gather the treasures of this world!"
"Like hell I will!" Tobirama barked, thoroughly annoyed. But after witnessing the raw power Kadoya casually unleashed, the Hokage wisely kept his fists down. A man didn't survive the Warring States Era by charging headfirst into a death sentence.
"…Which village are you from?" he asked instead, shifting tactics.
"Belong? Hah. That's a strong word." Kadoya glanced over his shoulder. "Let's say I've got friends in Konoha. No need to worry. Eventually, all the world's treasures will be stored there."
He said with a smirk, before pulling out a map, and trying to see which direction is the Land of Cloud.
If his memories were correct, Kumo had hoarded a few of the Sage of Six Paths' relics. And since they had a habit of stealing from other nations… it was only fair the rightful owner came knocking.
"I see…" Tobirama muttered, eyes narrowing. "Are you planning to drive Konoha into chaos? If Konoha suddenly obtains all the treasure from the other villages, the village will actually become the target for their combined attack."
"Let them come. I'd love to see who's bold enough to dance with me." He answered arrogantly after spotting the direction of the Kumo; he wasted no time and began walking toward it with Tobirama following from behind.
That word "dance" made Tobirama flinch.
Madara: "Hashirama, dance with me!"
He shoved the memory aside.
Trying a different approach, he asked, "How is Konoha now? Is Hiruzen doing well as Hokage?"
"Konoha?" Kadoya replied with a grin. "Oh, it's thriving."
Tobirama smiled faintly. "Then it seems… my choice was the right one."
Kadoya continued without pause.
"He managed to drive the Senju to near extinction, become mortal enemies with the Uzumaki, and isolate most of the village higher-ups and the Uchiha."
Tobirama: "..."
"WHAT!!?"
His roar sent nearby birds fleeing into the sky in panic.
"Explain! What did that monkey-"
"Watch your tone, mongrel!" Kadoya snapped, his crimson wind flaring again and blasting Tobirama back. His body crumbled… then swiftly regenerated.
"…My Lord," Tobirama said through gritted teeth, quickly approaching the King of Heroes. "Please… tell me what happened to Konoha."
He wasn't being controlled by Edo Tensei. But even free-willed, he knew a power gap when he saw one. Picking a fight would be suicide. For now, it was best to cooperate… and observe.
"Tch. If you're going to grovel, at least put some effort into it," Kadoya muttered with a bored look. "Can't even pretend properly. Waste of a reincarnation."
Tobirama: "…"
"Anyway," Kadoya began, standing tall with theatrical pomp, "since my servant has asked, it's only proper for the Master to answer such a trivial question."
He even emphasized the word "servant," casually assigning Tobirama the role without an ounce of shame.
The Second Hokage's eye twitched.
"After Hiruzen became the Third Hokage, he used what you said about integrating with the village. He used it to encourage the Senju to marry civilians, gradually watering down the bloodline."
He tilted his head mockingly. "And now. Your once-great clan is nearly extinct."
Tobirama: "..."
The former Hokage inhaled deeply through his nose, trying to contain the sharp spike of rage brewing inside. He was already prepared to teach that Monkey a lesson once he returned to Konoha.
But Kadoya wasn't finished.
"Oh, and during several missions," he added nonchalantly, "Senju squads were conveniently led into ambushes. Again and again. Enemy traps, failed intel, bad timing. Tragic stuff, really."
Tobirama: "…"
"While some, on the path to unlocking the Wood Release, participated in human experiments approved by Hiruzen and Danzo."
He smirked. "Every single test subject died. Cleaned off the last remaining embers of your clan. The only remaining pure-blood Senju is Tsunade and her little brother, Nawaki."
Tobirama: "..."
Although not all of what Kadoya just said was confirmed true, the Third Hokage still approved of Danzo doing the experiment to try and produce another Wood Release user. So in a way, what he said really isn't a lie.
"As for the Uzumaki…"
Kadoya spoke as he moved effortlessly along the tree branches beside Tobirama, his voice calm, but laced with venom.
"When Uzushiogakure was attacked by the Four Great Ninja Villages, along with some other smaller villages. They just threaten Hiruzen that if he sends shinobi to help Uzushiogakure, then they would start a war with Konoha."
He scoffed.
"So he, the self-proclaimed Strongest Hokage, agrees to sit back. Waiting for Uzushiogakure to be destroyed so he could steal the Uzumaki's sealing techniques."
Tobirama: "..."
Hearing how the Senju was tricked to near extinction, and how Konoha has betrayed the Uzumaki, basically a distant cousin of the Senju. Tobirama's breathing became a bit hard to control, and his movement slowed down a bit.
Trying to steady himself and refrain from ignoring everything, and ran back toward Konoha in anger to give his students a few pats on the head.
"When they return," he said casually, "Mito-sama acted immediately. Demanded the stolen techniques be returned to the Uzumaki. Before stepping back, she named her heir, Kadoya Uzumaki. To keep those techniques safe, protect and rebuild the Uzumaki Clan."
At the mention of Mito, Tobirama's stormed heart briefly calmed. His sister-in-law. Steadfast, wise, and unshakable in her beliefs. If she'd named an heir, it was someone worthy.
"I see… And how is the Uzumaki doing now?" he asked softly.
"He's on a mission," Kadoya answered, leaping down to a lower branch. "To restore the Uzumaki Clan. He's already forged an alliance with the current Uchiha Clan Head, built the Uzumaki Compound right inside the Uchiha's."
Tobirama stiffened.
The Uzumaki… allied with the Uchiha?
The very clan he'd always feared might betray Konoha… now acting as shelter for the kin of the Senju.
He understood that the Uzumaki no longer trusted Konoha and had formed an alliance with the evil Uchiha. Still, he couldn't blame them for it either, seeing how the Senju is nearly wiped out, and Konoha's betrayal, the only other powerful Clan they can really turn to is the Uchiha.
"…I see," Tobirama muttered. "That is… good to hear. At least someone's trying to rebuild what was lost."
Kadoya's expression darkened slightly.
"Oh, you haven't heard the best part yet," he said flatly. "During the Second Shinobi War, the new Clan Head of the Uzumaki, still only nine years old at the time, was sent to the front lines."
Tobirama blinked. "What?"
"Alongside your grand-nephew. Nawaki Senju. Also nine."
Tobirama: "…"
"They fought in the war while Hiruzen sat back in Konoha," Kadoya finished coldly.
You damn MONKEY!
I gave my life… so the next generation could thrive.
And now you send children to war so you can sit comfortably on the Hokage's chair?
If he still had a living heart, it would've burst from rage.
If he still had living lungs, he'd be hyperventilating.
If he were truly alive. He might have died of a heart attack.
"Lastly, the Uchiha."
Kadoya's voice turned colder as they entered the Land of Lightning.
"Hiruzen and the village elders did everything they could to isolate them from Konoha."
That single sentence was enough to make Tobirama's expression darken further.
Kadoya continued, unfazed.
"Back then, if the Uchiha Clan Head hadn't been replaced, forcefully, the clan might've actually rebelled. But thanks to the new head, things stabilized. He united the Uchiha, made them stronger than ever."
Tobirama didn't like what he was hearing. But… it was still better than learning the Uchiha had turned on the village completely.
Barely.
"So… what happened after that?" he asked, his voice low, trying to keep his temper in check.
"The war started," Kadoya said, jumping across a wide branch. "The Uchiha volunteered to help. They even submitted an official request to join the frontlines, to protect the village."
He paused. "It was denied. And they only accepted one Uchiha child to enter the war."
Tobirama: "..."
His expression grew even darker. The original purpose for Konoha's founding was so that children wouldn't have to go to war, yet his devoted student saw no trouble sending children into war while he sat on the Hokage's chair comfortably.
"The war was won, and the young Uchiha contributed greatly to the village. He and his teammate even managed to save your grand-nephew from dying to multiple explosive tags, multiple times."
Hearing this, Tobirama felt a bit relax hearing about his grand-nephew came out alive after the war.
But the moment passed quickly.
"And when the boy returned to the village," Kadoya said, tone sharp as a blade, "he was labeled a traitor to the Will of Fire."
"What?" Tobirama asked flatly.
"They accused him of abandoning his comrades."
He shrugged.
"The 'comrades' here aren't even his own teammates, just another group following behind him that somehow got killed. Yet they didn't hesitate to pin the blame on him."
Tobirama: "..."
"During the confrontation," Kadoya added, "he revealed his Mangekyou Sharingan. But he didn't fight. Didn't retaliate. Just retreated quietly to the Uchiha compound."
"MONKEY!!!!"
Tobirama couldn't take it anymore. It's one thing to send children to war. But it's another thing when they come back victorious and you label them as a traitor like that.
If that is how a war hero is treated upon returning, who would ever want to risk their life for a place that would throw them away the moment they return?
"Th-This… this can't be true!" Tobirama growled. "You're lying!"
Trying to justify that what he just heard wasn't real.
Kadoya glanced back, unmoved. "Believe what you want. You'll see it for yourself soon enough."
They arrived atop a mountain ridge overlooking Kumogakure. The village lay beneath them in silence, shrouded in thick mist and cloud.
Tobirama's gaze narrowed.
They'd already crossed into enemy territory. Yet… no one had spotted them. No detection barriers. No patrols. Something's wrong…
Yet, before Tobirama could voice his question, the Raikage building suddenly exploded, massive golden chains burst out like divine retribution, ripping through stone and steel with ease.
A thunderous voice roared across the village:
"YOU DARE TREAT MY UZUMAKI CLANMEN AS SEX SLAVES!?"
The sky trembled.
Tobirama's face fell.
