Chapter 404 - Chapter 404: Art Is an Explosion The Power of Physics and Chemistry!

Chapter 404: Art Is an Explosion The Power of Physics and Chemistry!

That milky white droplet, resembling a teardrop, was called Guanyin's Tear.

Yes, this was a technique Han Li had shamelessly stolen from Tang San. In fact, this was the first time he had used it in a formal battle.

Initially, Han Li hadn't thought much of hidden weapons techniques. However, when his Fate Laws resonated with Guanyin's Tear, he decided to give it a shot.

That was when he discovered something interesting.

Most hidden weapons techniques relied on complex calculations. Han Li, with his Martial Soul, immense divine sense, and overwhelming power, found them completely unnecessary.

Some techniques, like Bodhi Blood, involved extracting one's own life essence a self harming method that didn't suit him.

But Guanyin's Tear?

That thing was absurdly broken. Even Tang San himself didn't fully understand it. He only knew how to use it, but not why it worked.

Tang San might have been confused, but Han Li wasn't.

"Ignores all defenses, never misses."

That was blatantly a Fate based ability. No wonder his Fate Laws had reacted to it.

Han Li suspected that Guanyin's Tear wasn't even a Tang Sect creation. It was probably something they stole or unearthed from some ancient ruin.

After all, this wasn't something a mere assassin clan could possibly develop it straight up broke the laws of physics.

Even crazier, Guanyin's Tear functioned just like his Fate Laws it didn't operate within the conventional realms of matter and energy.

In Douluo's world, which operated on completely different fundamental laws from Earth, this was a direct dimensional downgrade a technique that belonged to an entirely different system.

And the best part?

It was incredibly useful to Han Li.

Previously, Han Li had discovered that Douluo's fundamental physics were different from Earth's.

For example gunpowder.

Through various experiments, he found that when gunpowder exploded, it didn't trigger elemental fluctuations. Instead, it acted as a purely physical attack.

That was perfect for him.

Which was why, at this very moment, Han Li wasn't panicking at all.

Originally, Han Li had planned to use Guanyin's Tear as a trump card, keeping it as a final deterrent to prevent the Five Gods from escaping.

His actual target was the God Realm's defensive barrier.

But, to his absolute surprise, the three geniuses Asura, Evil, and Kindness had voluntarily opened the barrier themselves.

Did they think this was a game?

Sure, they had it easy, opening the barrier like it was no big deal.

But he had a lot more to consider.

Given that the God Realm was a high density energy celestial body, if he used conventional Law based attacks, he might accidentally trigger a catastrophic chain reaction detonating the entire realm.

Luckily, Han Li always prepared backup plans.

That's where Guanyin's Tear and gunpowder came in handy.

So, without any hesitation, he activated his hidden contingency plan.

Would a sufficient quantity of gunpowder be enough to instantly kill gods?

He wasn't sure he hadn't tested that yet.

But what he had confirmed was that gunpowder had a devastating effect on space itself on par with high level spatial Laws.

And, most importantly it was a physical phenomenon.

No matter how powerful a barrier was, it ultimately relied on space itself.

"What happens if I just rip out the foundation?"

If anyone dared to use Space Laws to try and stop it, well…

The high density energy leaking from the shattered barrier would instantly vaporize them even Divine Kings wouldn't survive.

After all, the God Realm had accumulated energy for tens of thousands of years.

"No single person can control that."

Han Li grinned, completely at ease.

Not only was he amused by the sheer stupidity of the barrier breaking trio, but he also appreciated the genuine loyalty of Destruction and Life toward their people.

That said Han Li wasn't going to stop now.

The Guanyin's Tear in front of him wasn't just the original version.

He had "enhanced" it.

By using Space Laws, he had compressed an enormous quantity of gunpowder inside the droplet.

Once Guanyin's Tear pierced space, all elemental energy within it would dissipate, ensuring that no elemental explosions occurred allowing it to continue flying freely for a while.

And its destination?

The hole in the God Realm's barrier.

One important detail outer space contained oxygen, but only in extremely sparse amounts.

Sustaining a normal combustion reaction was nearly impossible.

However, the God Realm was a massive celestial body one that naturally contained a stable oxygen supply.

Many lifeforms in the God Realm still needed to breathe.

It wasn't purely composed of energy based entities.

In other words the God Realm had all the necessary conditions for combustion.

And friction?

Friction causes heat. Heat ignites explosions.

All the conditions were perfectly aligned.

"To the senior gods who passed down your legacies please, protect yourselves and your loved ones."

With the barrier breached, Han Li extended his divine sense into the God Realm, making his first public announcement.

He wasn't a bloodthirsty killer.

Strictly speaking, most gods in the realm were just clueless nobodies.

They had no real power or decision making authority.

Even so preparing Guanyin's Tear took time.

Unlike direct Law based attacks, it required three full seconds of preparation.

Meanwhile, Destruction and Life had already entered the God Realm.

Asura was still recovering.

Evil and Kindness were struggling to keep the barrier from completely collapsing trying to minimize the damage so they could repair it later.

Some gods had already rushed toward the breach in an attempt to stop Han Li's attack.

But most of them?

After hearing Destruction's command, they hesitated unsure what to do next.

And so, under such circumstances, Han Li's attack Guanyin's Tear, with its absurdly long charge up time was something no god present could stop.

Before him, the milky white droplet floated strangely in the air before being gently pushed forward by his hand.

A silver light flashed, and in the next instant, the tiny droplet had already surpassed Asura, slipping past his head and streaking toward the gap in the barrier at blinding speed. In the vast darkness of space, it carved a visible air corridor as it traveled.

There was no energy fluctuation.

That was the first thought that crossed the minds of every god who witnessed it and they all sighed in relief.

Anyone capable of becoming a god was no fool. Otherwise, they wouldn't have even survived the comprehension of Laws, let alone ascended.

Even the gods who had rushed to the barrier's breach were careful, using only pure divine power to move. None dared to invoke Laws.

They all feared that Han Li might actually be insane that he might directly detonate the God Realm and take everyone down with him.

But then, in the very next second…

At the very breach of the barrier, the center of that milky white droplet flickered with an almost imperceptible spark.

Then, Han Li's voice echoed once more with an unmistakable trace of amusement.

*"I wonder if any of you have heard this phrase before 'Art is an explosion.'"

A chill ran down the spines of countless gods.

The sharpest eyed among them noticed it first the droplet, once pale as a teardrop, had turned bright red.

"No! Listen up, everyone! Only use pure divine energy to shield yourselves! No Laws absolutely no Laws! Even if you die, do not invoke them!"

Destruction's voice rang out urgently, even desperately, his tone nearly hysterical.

He didn't fully understand what Han Li meant, but he did understand one thing "explosion".

And he was taking zero risks.

For someone known for his aggressive and ruthless approach, Destruction was now choosing the most conservative strategy.

"Gods do not die so easily!"

That was his sole reassurance.

"He saved quite a few lives today."

That was Han Li's evaluation of Destruction.

Then, in the next second

A blinding white light erupted, forcing everyone to shut their eyes.

But through their divine senses, they could still perceive everything.

They saw space itself fracturing like shattered glass.

At the very point where that energy less droplet had landed, space began to collapse inward at a terrifying speed followed immediately by a searing wave of heat.

"But… there were no Laws involved?"

That was the last thought of the gods stationed at the barrier's breach and then, the divine energy protecting their bodies was instantly vaporized.

BOOM!

The explosion's delayed sound wave finally arrived.

Inside the God Realm, countless lesser gods were instantly knocked unconscious.

Even those who remained conscious found themselves in a dazed stupor, their minds utterly blank.

Outside in the vastness of space, no sound could be heard.

Instead, an unprecedented force, completely different from Law based fluctuations, collided head on with Evil and Kindness' ultra divine artifacts, sending both gods hurtling backward as they vomited blood blood that was a color no human could comprehend.

The Scales of Judgment and the Heart of Kindness, both divine artifacts, now bore deep, jagged cracks.

These cracks were not caused by Laws.

Even though divine artifacts were manifestations of the Laws themselves, they still required a physical vessel.

And those cracks?

They were caused by the sheer force of physics and chemistry.

Not far away, Asura who had barely managed to stabilize his reconstructed body suddenly coughed up blood.

The Asura Demon Sword in his grasp shuddered violently, a long, ominous crack now marring its blade.

In the distance, Han Li himself trembled slightly, his face turning pale for a brief moment.

That was a clear sign a massive drain on his divine power.

Fortunately, Gu Yuena was at his side, catching him before he could stumble.

Then, within seconds, his face flushed red once more his Planetary God Core had already begun replenishing him.

"Damn… I underestimated their divine artifacts."

Han Li had honestly not expected them to be this fragile.

Nor had he fully accounted for the sheer destructive power of black powder at such a scale.

"Turns out, if the explosive yield is high enough, even Douluo gods aren't immune."

His gaze shifted to the barrier's former breach, and a smirk slowly spread across his face.

Even now, space still trembled and the fractures continued to spread.

The barrier?

Completely obliterated.

And along with it, the gods who had been stationed at the breach.

Judging by their divine signatures, they had all been secondary gods.

But now?

The fact that nothing remained not even their godhood, souls, or divine cores was proof enough.

The area was now a complete void silent and empty, save for the dense energy dispersing into the cosmos.

A subtle reminder that they had once existed.

Meanwhile, Evil and Kindness slowly rose to their feet, their expressions vacant, their hands still trembling.

They had only meant to open a small breach just enough for God Realm's forces to join the battle.

"So why… did it come to this?"

Inside the God Realm, Destruction and Life struggled desperately to maintain a divine energy barrier, shielding the countless helpless gods within.

Behind Destruction, his once imposing divine armor had been shattered beyond recognition still in the slow process of regenerating.

Beneath the cracked plates, a dark purple blood oozed from his wounds, dripping onto the ground where it instantly corroded deep holes.

His injuries alone were proof of how much of the explosion's force he had absorbed.

Life stood beside him, her once regal crown missing, her silver hair cascading freely around her shoulders.

She held her Tree of Life aloft with delicate precision, carefully avoiding any reckless invocation of Laws.

Instead, she used her ultra divine artifact's purest essence, gently showering the unconscious gods with a rain of emerald light, healing their wounds at an astonishing rate.

She was doing everything she could to save those who still had a chance to live.
