Chapter 245 - Chapter 244: A Tower!

Chapter 244: A Tower!

Following the room number on her key, Hu Liena took the Douluo style elevator up to the sixth floor, the topmost level, stopping in front of the third room.

"Sixth floor, room three… this should be it."

She compared the room number on her key with the one on the door and nodded. Just as she was about to insert the key, the elevator chimed behind her.

As the doors slid open, the sound of light footsteps echoed, and a girl with icy blue hair, deep blue eyes, and snow white skin stepped out. Her beauty was no less than Hu Liena's own!

Hu Liena remembered during roll call, this girl had been introduced as Shui Bing'er.

Their gazes met, and since they were about to become classmates, Hu Liena smiled warmly, giving her a polite nod.

"Hello there."

"Hello."

Shui Bing'er smiled back.

The atmosphere between them was friendly. After exchanging brief introductions, they at least knew each other's names.

Hu Liena then turned back, inserted her key, and unlocked her door.

The Dormitory

Upon stepping inside, she found herself in a fully furnished suite, complete with a bathroom, toilet, and study area. The room had never been occupied, yet there was no musty smell the air was fresh and clean, thanks to the air purifying plants placed around the space.

The layout wasn't overly luxurious, but the attention to detail was evident. Every piece of furniture was carefully arranged, and even by Hu Liena's high standards, this was a place she could see herself living in long term.

She swiped a hand across the desk. No dust.

Clearly, the dormitory had been meticulously cleaned before their arrival. Even the bedding was freshly changed the academy had prepared everything for them.

"This is way too thorough…" Hu Liena muttered as she collapsed onto the soft bed, inhaling the faint fragrance in the air. She stared at the intricately designed crystal chandelier, her mind filled with questions.

The academy didn't charge tuition. It didn't demand fees for dorms or other amenities.

What was White Cloud Academy after?

A school that gives everything without asking for anything in return… how could such a thing exist?

The Next Morning

Despite the comfortable dorms, most students barely slept they were too excited.

The thought of finally learning the legendary Condensation Ring Method kept them awake. They couldn't wait for morning to arrive.

The academy's cafeteria wasn't far from the dorms.

As dawn broke, many students caught the aroma of food drifting through their windows.

Even those who hadn't felt hungry before suddenly found their appetites awakened.

Remembering that the cafeteria offered free meals, curiosity got the better of them. Many decided to head over for breakfast before their first class.

Hu Liena was among them.

She grabbed her key, stepped out, and took the elevator down.

At the entrance, Xie Yue and Yan were already waiting for her they had coordinated via their academy issued phones the night before.

"Let's go eat," Hu Liena said as she approached.

Seeing so many students heading in the same direction, the trio followed the crowd toward what was most likely the cafeteria.

As they got closer, they saw a spacious building, designed in White Cloud City's signature architectural style. A large sign above the entrance read:

Cafeteria

There was no way to get lost and even without the sign, the delicious aroma wafting through the open doors was more than enough to guide them.

Even Hu Liena, who hadn't been particularly hungry before, felt her stomach rumble.

"Grumble…"

Yan's stomach growled loudly.

Hu Liena and Xie Yue turned to stare at him.

Scratching his head, he chuckled awkwardly. "I'm starving."

"Let's go in," Hu Liena said.

As the leader of the trio, she stepped in first, with the two men following like loyal attendants.

Breakfast at the Academy

Inside, the cafeteria was set up like a typical school canteen.

A line of students waited at the food counter, trays in hand.

Seeing this, Hu Liena and her companions grabbed their own trays and joined the line.

The variety of breakfast options was surprising, but what truly amazed them was the origin of the ingredients.

Most of the food came from food based Martial Souls, while some ingredients were derived from Soul Beasts.

Regular consumption of such high quality meals would greatly benefit their cultivation.

A Sudden Notification

Just as the students finished eating, all of their phones vibrated simultaneously.

Although these soul powered devices required infused spirit energy to function, some features operated automatically like receiving messages.

Even if the user wasn't actively powering the device, it could still receive and store incoming communications.

The students quickly retrieved their phones, infused soul energy, and lit up their screens.

A text message had arrived.

The sender?

Teacher Cao.

Since all students had added their homeroom teacher's contact the previous day, they immediately recognized the name.

Opening the message, they found a simple but urgent instruction:

[All students, report to yesterday's gathering plaza immediately!]

Upon reading this, the students dropped everything.

Without wasting another second, they grabbed napkins, wiped their mouths, and hurried toward the plaza.

Their unfinished breakfasts? The cafeteria staff would clean up after them.

Condensation Ring Transition!

Soon, the entire Class One had assembled.

Teacher Cao observed his neatly arranged, eager students and nodded in satisfaction.

"Since all of you originally trained under the old Soul Hunting system," he began, "we must transition you before we can properly begin your lessons."

"Transition?"

"Teacher Cao, does this mean Lord Ye Cheng will personally help us form our new Spirit Rings?!"

The students couldn't contain their excitement any longer.

Everyone knew that shattering old Spirit Rings to condense new ones was extremely dangerous at best, they'd suffer severe injuries; at worst, they'd die instantly.

However, if the creator of the Condensation Ring Method personally assisted them, the risk would be completely eliminated!

Though they had heard rumors that White Cloud Academy guaranteed a safe transition, none of them had expected it to happen on the first day.

It was beyond their wildest dreams!

But instead of confirming their hopes, Teacher Cao shook his head.

"The Lord is far too busy to handle such minor matters."

Minor?!

The students' faces twitched.

To them, this was a life changing event but to him, it was just a trivial task?!

"Enough questions," Teacher Cao said.

"Follow me. You'll understand once we arrive."

Though still filled with curiosity, the students obediently followed behind him.

A Tower Stands Before Them

After walking for some time, a mysterious structure appeared in the distance.

A tower!
