"Holy Shit."
Grey Roster was inside the first fully constructed floor of the Space platform. The ceiling was displaying a live feed of the sky with stars and even a visualization of star veins between the stars. Though nobody here was aware of the existence of star veins and only thought of those lines as a decorative effect on top of the stars.
The floor itself was huge. The ceiling was easily at least 80 feet tall. And the portals themselves were equally bizarre and spherical. Jannet had permitted their visit. Although she wasn't presently there to guide them through everything.
"And this is just floor one."
Queen Lacra was much more composed.
"No more sightseeing Grey. We going to try out the portals."
"Yes your majesty."
"We are in private, stop calling me majesty."
"Force of habit."
Queen Lacra and Grey walked into one of the bizarre spherical portals. They had seen teleportation and even other portals created by magicians. But those had been with magical circles that directly teleported, and the portals looked like flat vortexes of swirling energy. Not this bizarre bubble that distorted light.
"..."
"Whoa"
They had no words. The first sight they had on the other side of the portal was the cityscape and skyline. It all glowed a bright vibrant blue with unique skyscrapers reaching high above the clouds. In fact they seemed to have arrived at the top of one of these skyscrapers as below them were clouds that obstructed the view of the ground. Clearly they were miles high up in the sky. Despite being so high up they were not cold in the slightest.
In the sky you could see a black hole, not as a distant celestial object that the planet was orbiting but a full fledged mountain sized black hole suspended in the sky above the skyscrapers, you could just fly up and touch it. Some of the especially large skyscrapers had holes in them with giant blue glowing orbs acting as a source of power. You could even see spaceships suspended elsewhere in the sky. Though they weren't the horrifying black winged ship that gave them ptsd. They were more geometrically shaped claw of some kind of metal or mineral, they were colored a distinct plant-like green.

Grey thought he couldn't get anymore shocked by the Future Kings power. But he didn't even know what to expect now that he was looking at it all.
"What am I looking at."
"The kingdom ruled by the Future King..."
Lacra turned her head from side to side, closely observing everything she saw.
"You know, considering how brutally the Future King slaughtered the noble army back then. I thought maybe he was some kind of tyrant. But this is such a prosperous sight."
"People of ancient times would look upon our skyline in awe too. This is just some perspective on where we truly are on the ladder. Besides of course we will get the most flattering presentation. Who knows what's going on beneath these clouds."
They both walked to a conveniently place bench on the roof they at. Jannet had told them that when they passed through the portal they would get a nice view but that they weren't yet allowed to explore.
"Nice view... what an understatement."
"It's a shame too. If either of us knew the telescopic spells like some of those magicians we could have seen much more. Perhaps if I brought one of the noble magician families with magic eyes they could see even more than that."
"You mean the Jade family?"
"Yes the Jade family."
"The Jade families perception isn't from their eyes. That's just an effect of their observation like the green around knights."
Lacra looked at Grey with surprise.
"How come I never knew this?"
"Well it's a misconception that they intentionally circulate. I've learned a lot since you told me to investigate them. Their senses aren't even necessarily enhanced in the way you think. I just haven't managed to compile a report to you yet."
"I see."
Lacra leaned forward with her elbows on her legs and sighed as she looked at the skyline. All these concerns she had back within the Avenus Kingdom felt so small right now.
"The Future King"
Within her minds eye that enormous black silhouette seemed to dominate everything else.

Jannet threw out a letter on the table in response to Keith. Everyone looked down at the letter and read its contents.
"About time."
"Yep that's a death flag."
"..."
Chizuru grabbed the letter from the table.
"..."
He just stared at it in silence.
"Hey. Are you done looking so intently at it?"
Keith gave a look at Chizuru that clearly conveyed a bit of annoyance.
"This must be the reason why Mikitaka sent us. His 'Transmigrator Elite Squad' for such a menial task considering our power."
Silence fell. Keith, Natsumi, and Jannet gave a look of disapproval.
"We don't refer to the Future King by name."
'These transmigrators came from the same Naruto world as me just in a different time loop cycle. Jannet clearly stated she was a multiversal traveler trapped here from the barrier set by the Otsutsuki god. Have they developed some kind of heavy reverence from working under Mikitaka for so long?'
"Understood. But if this letter is true then how will you fight back?"
"I can use a barrier technique."
Natsumi shrugged.
"I dunno."
"I never learned anything to defend against something like this."
Although Jannet was a former multiversal traveler she could only admit that she didn't have the capability to deal with it.
Chizuru knew that they indeed had no defense for this sort of thing.
"You know that's not how it will work Keith. The barrier I mean."
Keith crossed his arms.
"Trust me. The barrier will help."
Chizuru simulated Keith as much as he could in a split moment to see if he really could do it. Apparently he could.
Jannet abruptly interrupted to ask.
"Did any of you steal anything of importance to people here?"
Keith slowly and deliberately pointed his finger at Natsumi.
"He stole some kind of Dragon Egg. Though not much else to say considering that eggs contents are already on his plate."
Jannet looked at the 3 quarters eaten omelette on Natsumi's plate. She quickly made the connection between that and a stolen dragon egg. But simultaneously it didn't really make sense.
"Shouldn't your luck have prevented something like this to the egg?"
Natsumi could grant endless good fortune to anything and anyone in return for gaining equally bad misfortune to himself. He had clearly imbued his with power into the egg along with good fortune. But Natsumi could only wallow in regret.
"It would've been such a cool dragon if it hatched."
Chizuru patted his back.
"I'm sure it would have."
"I'm going to go set up a barrier around the city."
Keith walked out of the room, dragging Natsumi with him before disappearing in a burst of speed.
Now it was just Chizuru and Jannet in the same room.
"..."
"You predicted this?"
"Natsumi did predict that the we're here to deal with an Otsutsuki threat."
