Chapter 170 - what another 100 years, I Can always build another kingdom (170)

Gabriel was in his throne room thinking about how to have a battle tournament but make it fair, because he knew the bum known as Soul Society would get their cheeks absolutely violated.

His Sin were still above the Gotei 13. Sure, the Nordic and African factions had some people who could contend with the Sin, but all of them stopped at Lucius, and Lucius, while strong, wasn't Horseman level... yet.

His upgrades should get him close to that level, close to being at a level where Gabriel was the only one who could kill him.

He wanted to implement a kill switch but decided against it. While yes, it could prevent Harribel from being hurt, he rather not risk the chance of Kisuke finding a way to reprogram it—it would be way too much of a bother.

And while yes, Gabriel could, in fact, erase Kisuke from existence—like deadass, there was nothing stopping him at all from doing it—he could just wake up one day and do it.

AND THERE IS NOTHING, AND I REPEAT NOTHING, THAT KISUKE COULD DO TO AVOID IT. NO AMOUNT OF PREP TIME WILL SAVE HIS ASS FROM IT.

Now that we got this point across, what exactly was stopping him?

Well, you see, Gabriel wasn't a dick and he wasn't Yhwach. He wouldn't kill without a reason. And while Kisuke was a threat, Kisuke had not hurt anyone he cared for. Yes, he was selfish. Go suck a dick.

The second the scientist does hurt one of those people he does care for, he will, in fact, erase his ass—better yet, just turn him into a Nephilim.

Which is something he was sure Kisuke knew, which is why his ass did not step foot in Hueco Mundo and did not try any sneaky shit. He knew he was simply being tolerated and nothing else.

He was simply there to make shit feel interesting. As without him, let's be honest, Soul Society alongside all the other realms would get fucked so hard, they would make every pornstar look like amateurs, taking in more BBC than all the Kardashians combined... and that says a lot.

They were going to feel like the Quincy did before they got squad-wiped or some shit like that.

Anyway, enough about that. Time for Gabriel to speak to his people—well, let's hope they weren't bitchy.

"It seems your battle hunger is dying out," Gabriel said calmly, looking at the Sin present. Lucius didn't show himself, as he was still being experimented on. He calmed down a bit—he could tell they were rusty. Stronger, yes, but rusty. Jeez, were those fuckers battle hungry. Unohana would have loved it here.

"In two weeks' time, a tournament will be held. One versus one. No excuses, no soft hands. Soul Society has been invited. Every branch. They will watch. They will bleed. And in their struggle, we will sharpen ourselves."

Gabriel inclined his head slightly. "The Horsemen will not participate. Their presence would turn this into slaughter. This must look like a contest—not a massacre."

His wife, sitting next to him, would notice something. This sounded like he...

"...So. You want it to appear fair."

A sharp laugh broke the tension. Grimmjow leaned forward, a feral grin splitting his face. "So that means I get to fight Kenpachi again? Heard there's three of 'em now." His eyes gleamed. "Tch. Perfect. That's my kind of fun."

Yammy slammed a fist into his palm, the sound echoing like a cannon. "Three? Feh! Just a bunch of bugs. I'll crush them all the same."

Lilith was also there, though something about her seemed off. Her passive seduction aura seemed gone. Hm. Last he checked, she seemed to be running away from Adam... like a lot.

A light smile appeared on his face. That was good. Seemed like his plan was working. And while yes, he had no plan in interfering with his subordinate's life—which to be fair, he didn't—the plan didn't form till after he saw Adam's innocence. And while yes, to normal people, throwing such an innocent boy to someone one could say was a professional glizzy globber—we're speaking like many men nut with a single stroke type shit, vibrating tongue—enough about how goddamn outmatched Adam was.

He was innocent. If you did not have a single ounce of lust in you for her, or in general, her ability, it did not work on you. Kinda like Boa and Luffy situation. And to someone like her who wants control so badly, that probably scared her a bit.

Thing was, even if she would, in fact, fuck anyone, she never—and I repeat, never—made the first move. She let her ability activate and 10 times out of 10, the men listened to their dicks. Anyway, as for why he did this: the power she gets by sleeping around is good and all, but her true ability comes in the fact that if she forms an actual bond with the person she sleeps with, it's stronger.

Let's say, for example, she slept with Ukitake. She would gain his ability and so on, like a perfect copy of them to use. But if she liked him and did that, not only would she gain his ability, they would be immensely buff and it would be permanent, not temporary. Not only that, she also gets a huge boost in power.

She knows that. Why the hell do you think she went through the whole trouble of erasing her own damn memory for her first husband? Because her ass knew of that fact. And while that gave her time power, and she may think she cheesed the system, she only got 50% of what she could get.

Well, enough about the girl who knew the average dick size of his army and that if she slept around less, she would be OP.

Gabriel's eyes shifted, landing on the younger figure standing with measured composure: Tenshiyo Michibana, the new head of the Fullbringers. The old man had retired, and while his power stopped his aging, he wanted to join his wife, allowing himself to grow old and all.

"No killing. But bones may break, blood may flow. Your Fullbringers will handle the healing. Make sure none leave crippled. Dead men sharpen no blades."

Tenshiyo gave a crisp nod, voice steady. "Understood."

Starrk, leaning against the wall, let out a long yawn, his eyes half-lidded as always. "So... you want to crush their spirits. Never thought you were the ruthless type."

Man really said that as if Gabriel doesn't treat the Geneva Convention like it's a checklist or something. The amount of war crimes committed by that man was insane. And while he still followed some rules, if the human him saw what he had become, he would have 100% been called a monster.

Or the devil... which, they wouldn't be wrong per se. He was all those things. He didn't know when it started, but he was so far in the abyss now, he couldn't even see the surface. The only thing keeping him sane was his rules, his wives, and his kids. If those things were to be erased, he would genuinely crash the fuck out and destroy everything in his way. And while he cared and loved his army, they, in fact, could not compare to the love he felt for his wives and kids.

Unfortunately, they got the type of king who would, in fact, sacrifice the world for his loved ones, and not the other way around. Luckily, he was strong enough for that not to happen. So, hey... but if push came to shove...

Heh... he could always start again... make another kingdom... what was 100 more years.
