The Skunk Gang was a nameless, bottom-feeding crew in New York's underworld. They were usually into petty loans, scams, and shady dealings with laundry detergent. Nothing too serious, nothing too ambitious. The Chitauri invasion of New York? Had absolutely nothing to do with them.
But now that the aliens had been repelled, and the Avengers had saved the day, the wreckage left behind turned the city into a treasure trove. Alien weapons, fallen tech, shattered armor—it all had one thing in common in their eyes: money.
"Hurry up, grab everything! These things are worth a fortune!" one thug shouted as he scooped up a Chitauri plasma rifle.
Several others joined him, greed gleaming in their eyes as they stuffed whatever they could find into bags. They didn't care what it was—if it looked alien, it could be sold.
"Hey, those guys over there look loaded," muttered a bleach-haired thug, nodding toward a group in the distance. "Think we should grab the weapons they're carrying?"
"Be quiet and move in slowly," whispered another punk. "No cops around anymore. Even if someone drops dead, no one'll trace it to us."
The gang hunched low, creeping toward the group like hyenas circling wounded prey.
Unfortunately for them, they had just stepped into a hornet's nest.
"Go to hell," said the young man with yellow hair—before disappearing in a blur of movement.
"Huh?! What the—"
That was all they managed before a voice behind them spoke with eerie enthusiasm.
"You really want to die today?"
It was Deidara—still irritated from being dragged into the Marvel world by Kitsuchi, and very much in need of a good explosion.
"You were the ones who attacked first. If the street blows up, it's your own fault. Besides…"
His fingers formed a familiar seal. "Art... is an explosion!"
The clay bombs latched onto the thugs before they could even scream. In the next instant, a thunderous explosion lit up the street, scattering dust and limbs alike. Bits of Chitauri debris flew into the air. Smoke billowed.
Unbeknownst to Deidara, a bystander from a nearby rooftop had caught the whole thing on drone footage.
Down below, the city was still in disarray.
After the portal was closed and the invasion ended, Su Xiuyu tucked the Space Stone away safely. While the American military struggled to reorganize and the Avengers were busy regrouping, Su Xiuyu calmly walked through the wreckage.
Tony Stark had finally awakened and joined the others in subduing Loki. The god of mischief had been restrained, lying in defeat, while Su Xiuyu casually picked up the fallen scepter.
He used it to free Hawkeye Barton and Dr. Selvig from its mind control before handing it right back to Loki with an almost sarcastic smile.
"A pleasure to meet you again, Loki. Or… maybe this counts as the second time, if we're including our brief encounter in Asgard."
Coulson, standing nearby, raised a brow. Su Xiuyu's words made it clear—he'd already been to Asgard.
"What?" Loki scowled. "You're here to mock me too?"
Despite the anger in his voice, Loki held back. After all, Su Xiuyu's strength was comparable to Odin's. Even a god like Loki respected power when he saw it.
"Why would I bother mocking you?" Su Xiuyu replied coolly. "Was it Thanos who sent you?"
Loki froze.
"You… know Thanos?"
"I do. But don't get me wrong—Thanos might be powerful, but he wouldn't dare invade Asgard while Odin still rules. He knows better."
"Odin is not my father," Loki muttered, his voice low. "I'm adopted."
Thor had joined them by then, remaining silent until that point.
"Loki," he said gently, "whether you're adopted or not, you are my brother. Always have been. If you want the throne of Asgard so badly, I'll step aside for you."
"Shut up, Thor! I don't need your pity!"
Loki's voice trembled. The pain he had buried erupted like a storm.
"You think this is about power? You were born Odin's son. You inherited the power of thunder. I was born a frost giant. My blood is… tainted. I trained day and night in Asgardian magic—and still, I could never surpass you."
"No matter how hard I try, I'm always second to you. Always weaker. Because of my bloodline? Because of my origins? Or because my real father lost his war?"
His hands clenched.
"I studied and trained for centuries… and it still wasn't enough."
Su Xiuyu sighed, his tone calm.
"Loki… I was just a normal human once. No divine lineage. No powerful ancestry."
Of course, he didn't mention the system.
"It wasn't a smooth road getting here. I had to fight and survive. What you lack isn't power—it's dedication. You didn't study magic properly. You never put in the effort needed to surpass Thor."
Loki's eyes narrowed. He didn't believe him—not really.
But Su Xiuyu wasn't trying to convince him.
"You're too immature. A child desperate for attention. You'll only understand once it's all gone."
With that, Su Xiuyu turned and walked away.
Thor looked at his brother one last time. "I still believe in you," he said quietly, before following the others.
Not far away, Bruce Banner stepped out from behind a partially destroyed building.
"Is it over?" he asked.
Su Xiuyu nodded. "For now."
"Then… we're ready to begin the quantum jump?"
"Yes."
Banner hesitated. "Just a warning: the Quantum Realm is unstable and unpredictable. One wrong move and we could be lost forever."
Su Xiuyu chuckled softly. "Compared to everything else I've faced? The Quantum Realm doesn't scare me."
Banner recalled the sheer scale of Su Xiuyu's Susanoo and suddenly felt a bit more reassured. Maybe… just maybe… they'd survive.
As the two activated the portal to the Quantum Realm, the world around them twisted and blurred. Gravity faded, time lost meaning, and physics itself began to unravel.
For Su Xiuyu, the microcosm felt like an entirely new universe governed by alien rules. Even he couldn't feel the normal passage of time.
Then, just as suddenly, the void around him cracked—and light returned.
They had exited the Quantum Realm.
"Who the hell are you!?" Colonel Rhodes yelled, War Machine's cannons pointed directly at Su Xiuyu.
Rocket immediately raised his blaster, ready to fire.
Only Groot, calm as ever, stepped forward and spread his arms wide—shielding Su Xiuyu from the others.
----------------------
"Relax, guys. He's not the enemy. And you'd better not provoke him," Banner said, stepping forward and raising his hands in a calming gesture, trying to stop the group from jumping into a defensive stance.
They didn't really know who this man was. Su Xiuyu stood there, calm and composed, yet surrounded by an invisible aura that made the air feel heavier. Banner had been with gods and monsters—but this man was something else entirely.
Banner's voice trembled with the weight of truth. "None of us fully understands who or what he is. Not even me. But I do know this—if we piss him off, we won't just have Thanos to worry about. Su Xiuyu isn't just another sorcerer. He's the chosen successor to the Sorcerer Supreme of Kamar-Taj."
A few gasps came from the group. The name alone carried weight, even among the Avengers.
Rhodes scoffed, arms crossed. "Banner, please tell me this is a joke. We sent you for the Time Stone and instead you brought back a guy?"
"Mr. Su holds the Time Stone," Banner replied, carefully choosing his words. "The Ancient One believed it wasn't safe to send the gem alone. So he came with it."
He didn't mention the part where he couldn't take it by force. There was no fight, only acceptance. Thor might be a god, but against someone like Su Xiuyu? Even a thunder god would hesitate.
Rocket lowered his gun with a grumble. "I didn't peg you for the diplomatic type, Banner. Figured you'd go full Hulk if someone said no."
He attempted to pat Banner's shoulder but ended up tapping his knee instead. Banner gave a sheepish smile.
"I know you!" Rocket suddenly pointed at Su Xiuyu. "You're that guy with the Raccoon Noodles! And this must be Rhodes. You talk just like our Rhodes—full of complaints."
"Excuse me?" Rocket's eyes narrowed. "It's Rocket. Not some noodle-loving raccoon. Got it?"
Su Xiuyu eyed him coolly. "Little raccoon, it would be wise not to point your weapon at me again. That twig in your hand can't harm me, but your intent might irritate me."
"Groot!" the tree-like creature exclaimed, his tone laced with warning.
Rocket blinked. "What? You serious? You're saying this guy is scarier than Ego? Ego's a living planet!"
"Groot!"
"Okay, okay! I get it!" Rocket lowered his weapon. "My apologies, powerful stranger. Can't say I've heard of you before, but I guess not everyone advertises their strength. What are you exactly? What race are you from?"
Su Xiuyu smirked slightly. "Oh? And what exactly did Groot say about me?"
Though he couldn't understand Groot's words, Su Xiuyu could feel the reverence radiating from him.
Rocket answered, still skeptical. "Groot says you're a real god. Said you're stronger than Ego."
Rhodes raised a brow. "Wait—who the hell is Ego?"
"Peter Quill's old man," Rocket explained. "Ego was a living planet, billions of years old. Cosmic-level threat."
Rhodes frowned. "So... why not bring Ego into the fight against Thanos?"
Rocket snorted. "Because he was a scumbag. Peter and I took care of him. Cosmic deadbeat dad, emphasis on 'dead.'"
Rhodes blinked. "So Peter killed his planet-father. Damn. That's some therapy-level stuff."
Rocket didn't laugh. "Peter had potential. Ego's blood ran through him. But when it counted... he blew it. During the fight with Thanos, we almost had the Gauntlet off. Tony told me. But Peter lost it, got emotional, and gave Thanos just enough time to come back."
"So he was a waste," Rhodes muttered. "A cosmic waste."
Rocket sighed. "Unfortunately, yeah."
The mood turned awkward. Even Su Xiuyu, who'd faced countless foes and alternate realities, found this level of cosmic family drama… exhausting.
Suddenly, Su Xiuyu turned to Groot. He extended a hand and gently placed it on the treeling's head. Golden energy flowed from his palm—Yang Release chakra, a force of pure life and creation.
Groot blinked. His bark shimmered, and in moments, he surged upward like a growing beanstalk. From one meter tall to nine meters in a matter of seconds. The ground shook beneath his expanding roots.
"Whoa! Groot! What the hell did you eat?!"
"I am... GROOT!" Groot shouted in amazement. His voice boomed, echoing across the lab.
Rocket jumped, barely reaching his friend's ankle. "What did you do to him?!"
Su Xiuyu smiled calmly. "Yang Release. It amplifies life energy. Apparently, Groot responded well."
"No kidding! He's like a living skyscraper now!" Rocket circled him with awe.
"I sensed potential in him. His species reminds me of something from my world—wood-based jutsu techniques. I thought it was worth a try."
Rocket gave an impressed whistle. "So that's why you're under Banner's protection. Damn. No wonder the Sorcerer Supreme trusts you."
Before anyone could respond, a flash lit up the lab. A figure appeared on the test bench—Hawkeye, clutching his chest, his body trembling.
"Barton!" Banner rushed forward.
Rhodes followed. "Where's Natasha?"
Barton's voice was broken. "She... she didn't make it. She gave herself up. For the Soul Stone."
(Idk what happened in this part of the story is this part of the movie marvel? Because for me it looks like Su Xiuyu arrived in another timeline)
