Chapter 90 - Chapter 89.

Chapter 89.

In the Marvel Cinematic Universe, Thor's powers can be broadly categorized into three distinct stages. The first stage depicts Thor's reliance on Mjolnir, his enchanted hammer. During this period, without Mjolnir, Thor's combat effectiveness plummeted, leaving him with only a physique slightly superior to an ordinary human's. The second stage, following

Thor: Ragnarok, marks his awakening. At this point, Thor could wield his lightning powers and attack without the aid of Mjolnir. With Felix's influence, Thor currently finds himself in this awakened stage.

Although he now also possesses the Stormbreaker axe ahead of schedule, he hasn't endured the –numerous trials and near-death experiences, nor the destruction of Asgard by Surtur's colossal sword. Consequently, his divine power hasn't yet reached its fully awakened state. The third stage culminates in Avengers: Endgame, where Thor, in his prime, confronts Thanos.

He unleashes his full potential, risks his life to forge Stormbreaker , and, fueled by determination, seeks out revenge on Thanos.

This truly represents his complete and strongest form in the MCU. Lightning crackles with every leap , and thunder accompanies each strike. At his full power, he conjures storm clouds that blot out the sun, unleashing bursts of thunder and countless dazzling silver lightning bolts. That was undeniably Thor's peak, a moment when even Thanos, wielding six Infinity Stones, was caught off guard.

Thanos never anticipated such strength from Thor and was struck directly in the chest by Stormbreaker, severely wounded. Of course, it's possible that Thanos had just assembled the six gems at the time, and the immense energy surging within him made him slightly vulnerable and underestimate Thor. Thor definitively defeated him.

Subsequently, filled with regret over the mistake caused by his own oversight, Thor fell into a deep depression, spending his days drinking and playing games, eventually becoming a "Fat Thor". While his divine power continued to strengthen

with age, his increased girth led to a loss of his original agility and spirit. Therefore, his strength during this period could be said to have plateaued.

Recalling these various stages of Thor's strength, Felix was surprised to witness the significant progress Thor was making right before his eyes. This was a crucial moment for Thor's power enhancement. In Felix's estimation, this reaction was a direct result of the superpower potion. Thor might have successfully mutated a new physique moments ago, but if it wasn't as potent as his original one, it would be instantly overridden, reverting him to his inherent form.

Upon reflection, this made sense; unless one mutated a physique akin to Superman's, it would be nearly impossible to surpass the Asgardian God physique Thor already possessed. It was like trying to perfectly mend a broken mirror, even with special methods, cracks would remain. The same held true for Thor's Asgardian heritage.

However, Felix felt this wasn't a negative development. From Thor's current aura, it was clear he was becoming increasingly powerful. He might even surpass his peak strength of MCU in one leap. The current timeline hadn't even reached the invasion of New York by Thanos's Chitauri army led by Loki. With Thor possessing such formidable strength, Felix wondered if he could single-handedly obliterate the Chitauri forces then.

Felix's anticipation grew with each passing moment. Calculating the time, barring any –unforeseen variables, it should be about another year before Thanos sends Loki to conquer Earth. Felix wondered how Loki would react upon witnessing Thor's skyrocketing power.

Of course, the above were merely Felix's musings as he observed Thor's transformation. At this moment, Felix refocused on Thor, whose aura continued to intensify, with lightning crackling around him. However, if Thor's power continued to surge unchecked, Tony's villa might not fare well.

"Tony, if this continues, your villa is likely to be ruined by Thor's strength. But looking at him, this is a critical stage of power development, so it's best not to interrupt him. We should quickly leave the villa!" Felix thoughtfully suggested to Tony that everyone temporarily evacuate.

"Hey, of course I understand this, but I also anticipated it. I've already made full preparations! You can watch with peace of mind!" Tony, instead of agreeing to evacuate, smiled, seemingly unconcerned. This puzzled everyone.

"Jarvis, activate 'Black House'!" Tony suddenly commanded Jarvis.

"Understood, sir. 'Black House' is being deployed!" Jarvis's voice promptly replied.

"Tony, what are you doing? I don't understand! What is 'Black House'?" Felix's face was a picture of bewilderment. The others were equally surprised, looking at Tony and awaiting his explanation.

Rumble...

At that moment, a rumbling sound drew everyone's attention. They watched as rows of silver-white metal walls suddenly encased the empty room where Thor was, forming a pentagonal cage around him.

The only side without metal walls was the one through which Felix and the others could observe. After the metal walls rose to a height of over three meters, they stopped, but the process wasn't complete. Five light blue beams of light appeared from the top of the pentagon's five corners, converging obliquely at a single point above.

In the direction of –Felix and the others, where no metal wall had risen, similar light beams appeared on both sides, converging to close the only exit. Of course, the convergence of light wasn't the end. The gaps between the beams were slowly covered by a transparent, foam-like light curtain. And a few tens of centimeters in front of those metal plates, another row of light curtains slowly emerged.

"This... this is our Wakandan shield technology? Why do you have this here? This is impossible! Could it be that you stole our Wakandan technology?" T'Challa's eyes widened in shock, utterly disbelieving what he saw. Although the shield's form differed from Wakandan shields, T'Challa had a hunch that Tony had definitely stolen this technology from Wakanda.

"Cough, don't use such unpleasant terms. 'Stolen' isn't the right word! We are already members of an alliance; we simply share technology! I just took inspiration." Tony chuckled amusedly. Despite being somewhat in the wrong, he –still presented a "don't speak so harshly" posture to T'Challa.

"And it's not entirely your Wakandan technology. It's a more convenient energy protection technology that I re-researched and developed based on your Wakandan theoretical framework! The layout is simple, convenient, and highly durable–, consuming less energy!"

"Stark, you thief!" T'Challa's face darkened for a moment, but he managed to control his anger. He understood that Tony had likely seized the opportunity to steal the information when they visited Wakanda a year ago.

"Alright, no need to be angry. It's not a big deal. I'll give you a copy of my upgraded technology! It'll help you upgrade your Wakanda's energy shield! You stand to profit greatly with my technical support!" Tony, knowing he was at fault, offered his compensation plan to T'Challa. Indeed, T'Challa was right; Tony had visited Wakanda once.

It was during that trip that he became fascinated by Wakandan aircraft technology, prompting Jarvis to secretly infiltrate Wakanda's system. Ultimately, he not only found the aircraft's technical information but also discovered numerous other advanced technical documents. Tony, being the person he was, naturally couldn't resist, so he quietly copied these technologies , including this energy shield technology. Of course, there were many other technical materials, but Tony had been preoccupied with pharmaceutical research previously, so he hadn't had time to study them.

However, he had studied this protective shield technology a few months prior. He felt this protective cover could be integrated into his latest Nano Warframe, so he took the time to improve and upgrade the technology. This resulted in what everyone was now witnessing.

"Hmph! Who values your skills!" T'Challa snorted, saying little more. However, he hadn't dwelled on the matter much. After a year of chivalry in the outside world, he had gained some perspective. He felt that Wakanda should not remain so isolated. Yet, currently, he was only a Prince of Wakanda and lacked the authority to make such a significant decision.

"Tony, what's with your 'Black House'? Why did you specifically prepare such a program?" Felix looked at Thor, surrounded by the new enclosure, and asked Tony with some doubt. Although this level of energy shield, for Felix, would likely shatter under his full attack, it should still be able to hold Thor and Hulk for a while.

"When I'm around you non-human beings, I naturally have to take precautions and think about my villa! Who knows if you people will go crazy someday and tear down my villa into ruins!" Tony, as Felix –had anticipated, answered.

"Look, isn't that what's happening with Thor right now! Fortunately, I've been prepared, otherwise, my villa wouldn't fare well!"

"Okay, you're great! But your shield, at this level, can probably only block those who aren't very strong. I'm afraid Hulk could break this shield with a few punches!" Felix said, looking at Banner beside him.

"I think Felix is right. I know Hulk's terror best. In my opinion, there's hardly anything that can stop him! I'm afraid this shield could only hold him for a few minutes before being torn apart by his power!" Banner, who had been lost in thought about Hulk's power.

"And I don't think Felix would take more than a few seconds."

After all, even now, he still remembered the fear of Hulk being dominated by Felix a year ago.

Afterward, the discussion ceased. With Tony's shielding, they were deemed safe and didn't need to evacuate. Instead, they remained and continued to observe Thor's state. At this time, Thor's body was completely enveloped by dazzling silver lightning, resembling a brilliant sun that was impossible to look at directly.

What no one inside knew was that thick black clouds had gathered above Tony's villa. The dark clouds completely obscured the sun's rays, creating a very oppressive atmosphere. Not far from Tony's villa, two men in black suits looked up at the dark clouds, astonished.

"What's going on? The weather was perfectly clear just a few minutes ago. Why is it raining so suddenly?" one of them asked his companion with surprise.

"Don't fuss! Don't you know who we're monitoring now? That's Asgard's Thor in the villa. It's not surprising. This is his doing!" The other man seemed unfazed by the apocalyptic scene and casually remarked.

"So that's it. Although I've heard of Asgard's Thor, I don't know much about him. Today, because I had a mission nearby, I was temporarily transferred to monitor here!" The first speaker then asked for advice, "However, is it necessary to report this situation?"

"I don't think it's necessary right now. All thunder, no rain! Such thick black clouds have been around for a long time, and no flash of lightning has emerged..."

Boom... click!

The moment the other person carelessly attempted to refuse, a flash of lightning burst forth with his voice. It seemed to explode in both their ears, causing a sensation of deafness. It appeared that such a powerful dark cloud had been brewing for half a day to unleash this lightning bolt. After a dazzling flash that seemed to cleave the entire sky in half, the dark clouds that had covered the sky almost instantly vanished. The sky returned to its previous clear state, as if everything that had just occurred was an illusion.

"This... this... it must be reported!" One man's mouth hung open, his shocked words stuttering.

"Hey, boss, there's a special situation here. A lightning bolt just struck the villa. What should we do next?"

Inside the villa, everyone was also startled by the sudden lightning strike. Felix even more clearly saw a bolt of lightning, as thick as a bucket, flash directly down from above Thor's head, instantly piercing the energy shield Tony had set up, blowing a large hole in it.

"What!"

The lightning continued its descent, slamming directly onto Thor's body! With a yell from Thor, it was absorbed into him. The bed beneath him was also instantly smashed.

"My villa! Thor, you point break bastard!" Tony looked at the huge hole cut through the villa ceiling above Thor's head. He also wondered how much damage the lightning had inflicted on the villa's interior.

"However, if Thor was struck by such a thick lightning bolt, shouldn't there be any surprises?" Tony, accustomed to his own home being demolished, didn't feel too distressed about the damage, but instead began to worry about Thor.

"Oh, do you think a Thor who can control thunder will be struck to death by his own lightning?" Felix was somewhat speechless. Thor is THE God of Thunder, no matter how strong the lightning, it wouldn't harm him in the slightest. Nevertheless, Felix couldn't help but recall the scene in Thor: Ragnarok where he was "tased" by Valkyrie.

He found it a little humorous. However, it was later rumored that the director refuted this, stating that Valkyrie used neurotoxins to make Thor faint. Of course, Felix didn't quite understand this.

At this point, the lightning surrounding Thor finally began to slowly dissipate. No, it wasn't dissipating, but rather being controlled by Thor and gathering in his hand. As the lightning converged, the dazzling electrical energy concentrated in Thor's hand seemed to possess a mind of its own, constantly changing shape.

Thor suddenly moved. He looked at his lightning-infused hand, first transforming it into Mjolnir and swinging it a few times. Then, he reshaped the lightning into the Stormbreaker axe, waving it again. Whether it was a sword, a blade, a hammer, or an axe, all of Thor's impressive weapons were mimicked by him, and he thoroughly enjoyed his display. Finally, the lightning transformed into the appearance of his father Odin's artifact, Gungnir The Eternal Spear, which he then slammed onto the ground.

A ripple emanated from the impact point, spreading outward.

"Haha, yes, there's this too!" Thor suddenly exclaimed. He then controlled the lightning-composed Gungnir in his hand to change again, this time taking the form of Felix's weapon, a three-pointed, two-edged blade.

"Thor, have you played enough?" Felix watched Thor's antics, even the mimicry of his own weapon, and felt speechless, shouting to him. Fortunately, the room wasn't soundproof, so Thor could hear him.

"Hey, almost!" Thor realized Felix's tone was somewhat impatient and quickly dispersed the lightning version of the "three-pointed, two-edged blade" in his hand. Instead, he slowly formed a ball of lightning in his palm.

"Haha, look, Felix, I can do this now!" Thor twirled the lightning ball twice in his hand, overjoyed. Then, he opened his mouth and tossed the ball in.

"Felix, you lied to me! How could there be any chicken taste? It clearly has no taste!"
