The house manager, unlike usual, only looked at the chairman. He didn't even seem to register Sarah and Amber's presence inside the room.
Glancing at the older sister, Sarah asked loudly. "Who's Vivian?"
"Young Miss?" the house manager flinched upon realizing Sarah was there. And then his eyes registered Amber next, and his face turned even paler. "Oh, that..."
It was the first time Sarah had seen the house manager get flustered, and she had to admit that it was rather satisfying.
"Father's newest side chick," Amber told her, finally moving from her spot toward the door. "Though I suppose she's not new anymore since it has been months."
Sarah snapped her fingers. "Ah, the one he brought to Mirae's party?"
"That's the one," Amber nodded. She narrowed her eyes slightly in curiosity, wondering if Sarah truly didn't know who Vivian was.
Of course, Sarah knew who Vivian was. She had to know her pawn, even if the person had no idea they had become one.
