Alex asked his mother for the name of the hospital and said that he would be there shortly before ending the call. After hanging up, he glanced at Alicia beside him. The girl flinched when Alex stared in her direction, and she hurriedly looked away, not daring to make eye contact.
After staring at her for a while, Alex said.
"Stay here, and don't do anything." He left the house right after saying that.
After Alex left, Alicia dropped to the ground, her face covered in sweat and she was panting heavily.
"That was scary." She muttered. The moment that Alex stared at her, it felt like she was being stared at by a grim reaper.
Almost everything about Alex scared her.
Meanwhile, Alex left the outskirts and hurried toward the location of the hospital where his family were.
Although his mother had tried to move away, Alex had heard some words from the background that didn't sound quite right.
