Hamar felt his consciousness, the deepest part of his 'self' and like moving a part of his body he 'moved' the consciousness in a way that it begun to vibrate in sync with Hou, allowing them to talk with their thoughts.
"Hou, Master reported he did what you told him...what was it?"
Hou, who was inspecting the Solar Lands in the inner world, making sure everything is fine, looked up within his wolf body, "Just a little..hmm, setting up. It may not be needed but I set up something in case we need it."
"Set something up," Hamar mentally hummed, "Set what up?"
"I set up a contingency plan if we fail to stop Yi Sect or are too late. It starts with Jin."
"The Life Dragon that has another split consciousness of yours?"
"Exactly so! I had put a magic inheritance within there but it did not activate yet, so I gave her a package of wills which was interacted with my split consciousness and 'unlocked' it."
"So she's a magus now? But she just became one, surely she can't do too much."
"Not by itself, but with a small amount of causality I ensured she would inherit all of the power that was there, and I also told Master to do something for me."
"Master...what was it?" Hamar tried thinking of anything that would help but all he could think of was to give laws but there's a limit with Jin's current Spirit Stone Soul Hardening level.
"Think about Master's master, Qi Lan. She's an expert at formations which can allow even the most basic of cultivators instant power...now apply that with magic." Hou pointed out.
"That does make sense but shouldn't it just be given to Yan then? She's the long term disciple of Qi Lan and could take more advantage of the formations, no?"
Hou chuckled, "That is the obvious choice but I calculated some possibilities and this is the best option. Let me outline how it is,"
He took a breath and explained, "Jin uses Blood Dao cultivation, she has high comprehension of blood. Given the power of my magic inheritance and combined that with Blood Dao cultivation...I told Master to tell Yan and Jin to work together, how do you think these two things link?"
Hamar paused for a few moments and thoughts clashed, eventually something came to mind, "Blood is a link between people...add that with magic, like how you used a magic connection to connect me and your original body, Jin...she can combine seamlesslessly with Yan and, and, use a strong formation to bring even more collaboration with her blood comprehension!"
Hou's mouth hung open and he raised his brows, "I'm...I'm impressed, Hamar. You thought something that I did not even think of...using a formation to allow for greater collaboration between the major Sect's."
Hamar, surprised, asked, "Should I tell Master then?"
Hou shook his head, "How about you try to, pay attention to your intuition though."
He furrowed his brows, confused, but complied. Hamar put extra focus on his intuition as he opened his eyes and liked towards his Master in front of him, who had been waiting patiently.
"Master, actually we-" he clutched his heart suddenly. Hamar felt a strong sensation in his intuition and stumbled a step backwards.
Mo Huai instantly shifted over, supporting Hamar from falling, "What is it? Are you fine?!"
Hamar shook his head, "I'm fine...it was nothing, let me just-" he clambered to the ground and assumed a meditative pose.
His consciousness once again 'flexed a muscle' and he connected to Hou within his inner world, "I see..."
"There seems to be downsides of this inner world...just telling Jin about that would potentially completely change the outcome of the war, and therefore our causality would be used."
"Then how can we do anything in the war? If everything we do needs causality?" Hamar pleaded.
Hou laughed, "With difficulty...we need to use small amounts of information and planning to use our causality in small but noticeable ways. Before we had the inner world the inheritance had already been placed, very little causality was needed to set that motion in plan. However....no, nevermind."
"No, no, "however" what?"
"I placed the real contingency plan hidden in Jin's consciousness. If we need it, then much causality will be used."
"And what's the trigger?" Hamar questioned.
"Don't worry, the contingency will only activate if we die, there's no issue otherwise. If we win then we win, if we don't the contingency activates."
Hou continued, "Like I said, we need to be careful with our actions. Do you think that telling Jin that is nessacary? It doesn't seem to cost too much causality but if we don't keep enough, there may not be enough to trap Yi Sect in the finale."

Hamar bit his lip, and in the real world Mo Huai saw a drop of blood fall down and evaporate into the great formation of the major sects.
In the control room of the formation, Jin and Yan sat facing eachother with their palms together. As they did, tendrils of blood emanated from their union and wrapped around each girl.
Jin coughed out blood but at the same time used her spare mental energy to manipulate the formation in the rooms, and with the principles of magic, align the laws in a way that seems illogical without knowledge of the mana it is made of.
She placed a sacrifice of the blood she had just coughed out into the centre and the magic circle activated, causing the tendrils lashing the two girls to slow.
Eventually they slowed to the point of becoming still, then illusory, then vanishing. Jin let go of Yan's hand and focused on recovery, sending laws from around the formation, gathering a little from every source and healing herself and Yan.
Yan looked up at Jin, "I can..." She looked around with an amazed expression, "We're linked as if one person. We can both use the formation...hey! What if this principle is used to connect everyone under the formation?"

Hamar shook his head, "No...I thought of the idea, I trust one of them will think of it too. I'm not the smartest and don't have anywhere close to their comprehension of Blood or Formations...I trust."
