Chapter 285 - chapter 85

Hamar 'possessed' his own body again and stumbled a moment, still dizzy from his experience as the Inner True World's Solar Lands formed and subsequent scooping out.

He ran his hand through his brown and white hair, "So it worked, see, what did I say Hou?"

"It was salvegable this time but...we were lucky, I was lucky. I shouldn't have risked it without really planning ahead, I was just rushing t-"

Hamar cut him off, "Don't worry about it. It worked this time, let's check your other theory."

Hou calmed himself, "Okay..." He looked into their shared soul and then moved his consciousness into the Inner True World.

"I'll control the Inner True World, while you can stay in control of yourself. Since everything in here is now 'ours' I should be able to possess anything here easily."

He spiralled down into the Solar Lands and scoured quickly for a creature, landing upon a wolf. His consciousness jumped into the wolf and it paused its running and fell to the ground.

It stumbled onto it's feet and moved awkwardly for a few seconds until it stabilised itself, "This'll do. Hamar, can you hear me still?"

Hamar, who had been swinging a stick he had found off the ground, reported, "I can hear you as clear as if you were in our soul."

"Perfect. I'll do my testing, for now you're free to do what you need. When it's time, I'll tell you the results."

Hamar continued to swing the stick in the air, causing wooshing sounds to cut through the grass on the floor. He paused, "That'll be perfect. Just ask Master how long until the assault on Yi Sect."

Hou 'nodded' and focused back to himself rather than his conversation with Hamar. He was a human and so clearly unused to the body of a wolf.

Walking on four canine legs rather than his human two feet was a tough challenge though with some persistence he got the hold off it.

He was a sort of 'god' to the Inner True World, along with Hamar, and so while he could only see forests...he could 'see' everything in the world at once.

Naturally, like thinking, he used a miniscule amount of causality and moved his wolf-body through the world, instantly transporting himself beside his Master.

Before he even spoke, Mo Huai turned around with his arms behind himself. He bent to one knee and patted Hou on his wolf head, "Hou, my disciple, is that you?"

Hou's wolf instincts took over and he nudged his head into Mo Huai's palm, saying words which through the vocal chords of an animal turned into whimpering.

Though in Mo Huai's mind, they made sense, "Master, how did you know?"

Mo Huai chuckled, "You think I couldn't recognize my own disciple's consciousness," he placed a hand over his chest, "Though I do wonder how you could split your consciousness and even...well, be HERE. Weren't you captured by Yi Sect? Being used for their 'great plan'?"

Hou laid down and started to explain himself, at the same time he felt causality penetrate intonhsi Master and dissolve certain restrictions from the Sea of Worlds.

Once he finished his explanation, his master stroked his beard and asked curiously, "So Yi Sect isn't wrong in their thoughts, not exactly...there is a world beyond our own and they wish to destroy this world to enter that one. You said there's restrictions though? You said that even I was subject to them and quickly forgot all of this when you had told me it before?"

Hou nodded, "Exactly... That does beg the question,"

Mo Huai finished Hou's thought, "How do they know? And how are they exceptions to the rule? You said you can tell me because of 'causality', is it the same for them?"

He shook his wolf head and stretched, standing up, "I have no idea, but whatever the case they can restrain the rules but..."

Hou walked a few steps forward before looking back, "That's why I did this with Hamar. This is a TRUE world and I have casualty at my disposal! If they use some causality, I'll just use more! We can all them."

Mo Huai sat up and brushed the hairs from Hou off his robes, "It's a promising theory. And you want us great sects to whittle them down as much as we can. To make their 'causality cost' as low as possible."

"Exactly so. Once they get assimilated into this world, like you, I should be able to do this-"

Hou barked and resonated with the world using his god like authority to manipulate causality and cause Mo Huai to bend at the knee.

He fell to his knees and tried to stand up but couldn't easily, though as he tried the more causality was consumed. As such, Hou quickly stopped the attempt, "I'll be there prison."

Mo Huai smirked, "I believe you, really. And us great sects have been skeptical that we've seen even a fraction of Yi Sect's true power... If we can't defeat them then I'll do my best to help your plan succeed!"

Hou 'smiled', "Good..." He looked upwards and using his meter thoughts caused a door to appear in the sky, "Go through there and meet back up with Hamar. And before you go..."

Mo Huai held out his hands, "Yes my disciple?"

He chuckled and the himself into Mo Huai's embrace 'whispering', "Thank you for taking care of Hamar...for never giving hope of being me back, thank you for everything."

Mo Huai posted Hou on the back, "It's nothing... One last thing actually, you said Jin had a portion of your consciousness? How would we 'awaken' it?"

Hou let go and sent out a package of wills, "Tell her to consume this, it should bring my consciousness fragment to life and pass on pay off my inheritance to her. She should be able to make great use of it... It's magic, highly compatible with her formation Dao."

Mo Huai caught the package of wills and wrapped it with his mental energy, storing it within his mind, "I'll tell her...see you soon, the full you, hopefully."

With that said, he opened the door and walked through, exiting the Inner True World and appearing beside Hamar in the real world.

Hou watched him depart and spoke to Hamar through their special connection, "I'm sending Master out now, it worked. In the Inner True World causality can be used to trap and control someone. The mastermind behind Yi Sect will be dealt with one way or another."
