Chapter 282 - chapter 82

Hou scratched his head, "I don't know if it worked..." He looked backwards and brought forward the miasma cloud he had pushed away earlier. Clearing his throat, his coughed and spoke, "Master, can you do something for me?" He relayed the location where he could sense his split consciousness.

Mo Huai whisked up his miasma cloud and turned it into a scarf. He conjured a wisp of miasma under each of his feet which carried him upwards. He used the principle that miasma was thought to spread disease and applied that to himself, using miasma to move himself without any force.

As he floated through the air he spoke, "I'm heading off now, I'll tell you when I find it."

He reached the altitude he had been told to go and then he scoured his periphery for anything strange. He pulled laws up from his Spirit Stone Soul and activated a technique which caused his vision to expand further. Space laws mixed with miasma as a conduit, and perception laws into a comprehensive ability to sense a horizontal plane with a single glance.

"...hm," Mo Huai looked to his side far in the distance and touched his miasma scarf, "I found it...It appears to be with your disciple William."

Hou, back in the outside, furrowed his brows, "Go to him and ask him what's the issue. Otherwise just wait..."

He rubbed his eyes and inwardly spoke with his consciousness directly to Hamar's, "You heard him, your disciple must've done something. I don't know what to do now...I fear I've just wasted your royal authority and so much if your aura...not to mention the causality."

Hamar consoled, "Don't think like that. You said, you don't know. It might not be lost. There still might be a way to finish what you started." He thought for a few moments in silence before adding, "You wanted to freeze the Solar Lands so the Sea of Worlds wouldn't affect it and you could absorb it, right?"

Hou nodded, "That was the plan, well part of it. The point was if we had the Solar Lands inside or inner true world then...then we should be able to control the inside with causality meaning we could use it to deal with Yi Sect."

"Hou... Don't give up now, h-"

Hou interrupted, "I haven't given up... Just, I feel I've done something wrong. I took a gamble and didn't seem to have worked."

"Good, that you've not given up not...everything else. Firstly, let's wait for the results and see what's happened. And if not, there's still the chance to beat Yi Sect normally."

Hou bit his lip, "That's what I would think but... It's a gut feeling, I don't know. I just have a feeling that that won't be enough, that we can't just simply 'beat' them."

"Hey William!" Mo Huai flew over at high speeds.

William turned around and bowed lightly, "Elder...I did not know you were here, I would've greeted you."

"Don't do that," he lifted William's posture, "You don't need to be so formal with me." He looked to the side at the orb of controlled aura and felt his laws shake.

Mo Huai supported his Spirit Stone Soul with a small barrier of mental energy, the controlled laws having an adverse reaction with the aura.

"What's the problem here?"

William looked to his right hand, which the conversation had stayed in a fixed position, "It's to do with Hamar I think... Of it was anyone else I wouldn't say but since you're my Grandmaster I feel I ought to." He brought over his right hand and passed it over to Mo Huai, unfurling it slowly. He made sure to use a strong net of mental energy to ensure the consciousness contained would not escape.

Mo Huai raised his eyebrows, "A consciousness?"

William tilted his head, unaware of the terminology, "when I caught this 'consciousness' I thought it was an attack for then wills and thoughts flooded my own."

"Wills and thoughts..." Mo Huai stroked his long beard, "Hamar's plans? He said he wanted me down here because he will l was going to do something..."

William shrugged, "I don't exactly understand but...I tried my best to not ruin it any further. Over there," he gestured his spare hand over to the boulder sized orb of erratic snowstorm aura. "Over there is whatever this little guy was flying towards. It had loads of wills and emotions that I've forgotten now... I think the plan was to combine these two things and release the wills..."

Mo Huai finished his thought, "But you caught it and the consciousness dumped them into you... So you froze the other part?"

"Exactly! I saw the whole world had frozen, though I could move for whatever reason, and so when here and found this guy, got the wills, but then the world unfroze! So I thought without the wills or the freezing of the world... Well, it might be an issue?"

Mo Huai put his hand on William's shoulder, "No no, I'm not reprimanding. Good work...I think." He ticked his chin in and started to speak into his scarf, "Hamar,"

Hou shook his head, "Anyway, it's your disciple. You should deal with him and from there I guess we'll see if I can solve the issue of my own making."

Hamar sighed, taking back control over his body. He stretched out his body after being pushed to the limits by Hou, "Don't worry, I also have a feeling."

He felt the aura barrier around the Solar Lands dissipate and held out his hands, using his form of aura to reinforce Hou's variation. "I have a feeling there's hope. I bet any second now master will say something."

"...any second now..." He picked up the miasma cloud, "Master?"

He waited a few moments and as he started to become anxious, the miasma cloud started to vibrate, and turn into a scarf. It wrapped itself around Hamar's shoulder, and his Master's voice sounded out, "Hamar, I'll bring you here and explain."

As he said that, the miasma scarf wrapped around Hamar and started to inject laws within the air around him. Hamar didn't resist, fearing his aura would instantly break any techniques. The air shifted and Hamar flicked, opening his eyes and seeing the view completely different. Instead of a massive planet, he saw clouds, two elderly looking figures, and an orb of snow storm aura.
