"So not only did the technique destroy mind partially, it destroyed my body..." Hou looked down and squeezed his fists.
"It should be fine normally...the issue was it was an external intention targeting 'us' which since we weren't defended effected me. If we were ready and you were the one creating the intention, it should be fine."
Hou let go of his fist and sighed, "Still..."
Yue made a noise, "Yes, this technique...it's strong and has it's uses but it's also very dangerous. You should only use it when you are are extremely safe and when you are in extreme danger and no other scenarios."
Hou shook his head, "Yes, I agree, there's no other chance I'll use this technique. But let's move on...is your mental energy returned?"
"It is mostly there, why?"
"Well...we use separate mental energy there's no need for me to only use my own. Can you begin cultivating laws, you should put in 100% effort though, keep your mental energy reserves."
"I get it, and because of the Celestial Law Amplifying Physique and Flowing Divine Script, my cultivation despite not being fully effort will be on par with others!"
Hou snapped his fingers, "That's not all, while you cultivate that I'll be cultivating mana. Once enough mana is absorbed and I create the first mana circle, I should have enough to begin helping that cultivation even more!"
Yue unconsciously made the body smile, "Power begets more power. The strong get stronger faster than the weak become strong."
Hou nodded, "Exactly, let's begin. I'll start absorbing mana and you begin cultivating laws. All the while my mental energy and body will recover! I won't fall behind in laws!"
For that day Hou began his new method of multi cultivating. He absorbed mana and Yue absorbed laws, all the while class was going on with everyone else of Tier 1.
In the Tier 1 classroom, Hamar saw Hou leave the class after seemingly exhausted. He rubbed his eyes and squinted, thinking to himself, 'Is this related to what Hou did tomorrow, the thing I felt tomorrow'
He touched his head and recalled the sensation, the intention which caused his thoughts to wander. Then he withdrew his look and turned to Tianmo, 'But he might be in a worse, at least more peculiar, state.'
Tianmo was not exhausted, and he worked perfectly fine but...he didn't seem normal. Without any reason Hamar's intuition completely shook when he looked at him.
'It could be to do with my connection to Hou and whatever happened last night but...Tianmo gives me a strong feeling and his eyes...his eyes show a man whose mind has been expanded all of a sudden.'
Hamar was familiar with the look, he was personally familiar with that scenario. The scenario his whole life he was a frog in a well and even that well was nothing more than a drop in the ocean.
Thai was the realisation by Hou that their whole life he lived in Sealed Solar Tomb and then even the world was a creation of a mage.
Hamar had a sense of danger within his heart but also deep within he felt a sense of comraderies within himself, he shook his head.
"Hey Tianmo! You fine?"
Tianmo turned around and Hamar's intuition warned him again but this time it had a feeling of melancholy.
"I...I don't know. It's fine though, don't pay attention to me, it's all good." Tianmo's pupils shakes but he dismissed Hamar's help.
Hamar understood, "Okay I understand"
Master Sheng clapped and drew everyone's attention, "Enough chit-chat! Today's lesson will be on using formations, I'm no master though. I do not claim to be a master but every cultivator will use formations at some point, even the most basic knowledge is better than none."
Then bus mile widened and he stomped his right foot, the floor turning the liquid. The floor rippled like a pond and then a head broke the surface tension, then someone jumped through.
She had dark black hair and wore a flowing almost translucent dress. She had pink flowing veils which obscured her face just enough to give a sense of mystery and awe.
Her skin was paler than pale, like white jade it was a true beauty than couldn't be described with mere words.
She opened her eyes and showed of a light smile, whole bowing she introduced herself, "Hello and nice to meet you all"
Within everyone's reverie and speechlessness, she continued, "I am Elder QI Lan, None Clouds Elegant Formations,"
She scanned the people in front of her and her eyes glinted. She squinted and made a light and high pot he'd squeaking noise.
She lightly rolled her eyes and then started, "I'll be teaching you all some basics of formations, let's us all start!"
She clapped her hands and the a sweet fragrance was sent out. Then the world shimmered and everyone found themselves within a large green plains.
It wasn't just green it was vivid and strong, a sort of green that assaulted the eyes despite it being objectively not very strong.
She swing her hand and her flowing robe covered Dover. As iit did, she disappeared and then from above her delicate fingers reached through the sky.
Her voice became booming yet still elegant as she became a towering giant that eclipsed even the sun yet the world was still bright.
"This is a pinnacle of formations, a world formation."
She squeezed her massive hand that was above everyone in Tier 1 and a series of lights left her fist and floated down.
The lights burst into a beautiful set of colours which as people looked into them they got sucked into it. The already speechless class at the power of the 'World Formation', they became comatose with the knowledge that entered their mind in the fireworks.
Not the knowledge you learn in class' but the kind of knowledge that you just know. The kind of knowledge only an experienced of monster would recognise. That deep mind of knowledge.
