"What's your purpose!? Don't come any closer!" The man with short red hair shouted out while banging his gauntlets together.
Lan Qiang kept his arms up and spoke loud but did not shout,
"My name is Lan Qiang and to my right is Hei Feng and to my left Hu Li. We just want to offer a deal,"
"A deal?"
"Yes, a deal. We want to have a sparring session, we both get points and can show off our strength while we all stay in the competition."
"...let me discuss first!"
Lan Qiang then said one last thing,
"Before, you talk I feel it needed to tell you, there's somebody watching you in the cliff above us. Do you know them?"
The man in red then looked up and sighed, he stomped his foot and shouted into the cliffs,
"Lan Yin!" He shouted out and his face scrunched up.
Then in an instant. Something blurred a Ross the sky. Then, in front of the man a small woman wearing all black knelt down on one knee and looked down. She punched the ground and spoke,
"Lan Yin greets the master!"
The man with red hair took a deep heavy breath and his hands started to shake, then he exhaled and spoke softly but with authority,
"Didn't I say I didn't want anyone to follow me?" He put on a forced smile.
Lan Yin then punched the ground again,
"I am sorry, but this is the great master's decisions!"
The man with red hair then shook his head and turned back to Lan Qiang,
"I'm sorry for this, she won't interfere with anything. Yeah, let's just do this. Lan Ying will be the judge of who wins, she must be impartial."
Lan Ying then shouted out,
"For young master, I will be as impartial as possible!"
Lan Qiang put his fist together with his palm and bowed,
"Then, I'll thank you for accepting our deal"
"It's nothing, I'm Yan Hu. And this lady in blue is one of my partners Bi Xiao and the lady in red is Mei Du."
"It is nice to meet you then Yan Hu, how say we do this sparring? Should be do a three Vs three? Or one on one duels?"
"I think a three Vs three would be best; and wouldn't take as long. Any rules we should say?"
Then Hou, as Hu Li, spoke out,
"The obvious should be no fatal attacks, nothing that would cause permanent damage that's hard to heal. Other than that, I think it should be fine. No outsiders of course, so Lan Yin has to be a complete observer."
Yan Hu nodded,
"Then shall we start then?"
Hou readied his fists, Hamar pulled out his sword and Lan Qiang held his spear,
"Let's go!"
Then, Yan Hu ran out in front as a close range brawler. To meet him, Hamar ran in front bursting forward with aura. He covered his sword with aura and it started to glow.
The two connected, the gauntlet blocking the sword; the sword deflecting the sword and moving in to thrust his shoulder. But Yan Hu was no so easy, he burst into flames.
His whole body tuned into flames, like a set of plasma armour. The aura sword was deflected, flying back. As Hamar was shot back, Lan Qiang thrusted and his spear's tip turned into water.
It extinguished the fire armour but by then, it was too weak and Yan Hu slapped away his spear with his gauntlets.
At the same time, Bi Xiao floated above the battle field and started to flap her fan and a tornado started to form. And protecting her, Mei Du hid away in the cliffs ready to protect.
While Hamar and Lan Qiang was taking care of Yan Hu, Hou was fighting the other two. He was flexible with both long and short range attacks, he began by using vast eyes and detecting Mei Du's position.
One he found it he decided to use space laws and use his dragon imitation move. He then jumped into the sky and pretended to try to punch Bi Xiao.
But mid-air he activated the technique and for a split second the whole battlefield became available for him. Then he moved through the space behind Mei Du. He then covered his fist with sun laws, focusing on it's heat expression.
Unaware of Hou's position, Mei Die was punched squarely in the back by a fiery fist, she was pushed off the cliff and began to fall.
But as she fell, she turned in the air and shout out five needles. The needles flew directly to Hou but as he dodged it, Bi Xiao would change the wind currents so they would target Hou.
Hou and his group might've been stronger individually but this group was used to working together and could use combination moves. Hou looked back and forth and thought of how to escape the needles.
Then he had a thought, he mobiles the liquid laws he had inside his body. He was going to use body cultivation with them in order to pull out the water in the wind and spin it in order to create a shield.
He body cultivation the liquid laws, resonating them with the water laws in the air, manifesting it into an orb of water. Then as the needles shit at him, the water absorbed the needles and spun them out of the wind's control.
Simultaneously on the other side of the battlefield, Yan Hu was fighting Hamar and Lan Qiang. As Lan Qiang was pushed away, Hamar was ready again. This time. He focused the aura of the tip of his sword and exploded it right when he contacted the fire armour.
Before Yan Hu could use his gauntlets, the aura exploded and his fire laws were eviscerated and went into the atmosphere, causing the air the become warm.
Yan Hu smiled and raised his fist, becoming active rather than defensive. He ran forward and dashed towards Lan Qiang, dodging his spear and as he came closer he jabbed his chest. But just before contact, Hamar swung his aura sword.
An aura blade moved out of his sword and moved through the air and pushed Yan Hu's gauntlets away from Lan Qiang's chest, instead grazing his arm.
