Chapter 36 - Chapter 36

In the western region of the North Galaxy, there existed a mid-tier planet called Planet Flay.

On this day, the planet's tranquility was suddenly shattered by the arrival of a colossal, jet-black spacecraft. The ship tore through the atmosphere with a thunderous roar, its fiery red glow illuminating the sky while massive plumes of dust and sand billowed into the air. The indigenous people of Planet Flay were thrown into a panic. Some, believing that the gods had descended, immediately prostrated themselves on the ground, bowing and worshipping in reverence.

The hatch of the spaceship opened, and two figures—a man and a woman—stepped out first. Behind them, a child-sized figure followed closely.

Raiga activated his scouter, scanning for energy readings across the planet. Within moments, the device displayed several power levels exceeding 1,000.

"There are seven lifeforms on this planet with energy readings surpassing 1,000," Raiga reported, "They are located at 137 kilometers east, 546 kilometers south…"

He listed each detected energy signature. This was a primitive world where civilization had yet to develop. The high energy readings most likely belonged to powerful wild beasts.

Raiga's scouter was his personal device. Sephyliya and Herz had destroyed their own scouters upon leaving Planet Vegeta.

"I'll take care of these lifeforms," Herz said directly.

After traveling through space for some time, they had arrived on Planet Flay to train. Since they planned to stay for a while, any strong lifeforms that could potentially interfere with their training had to be eliminated.

"I'll leave it to you."

Raiga nodded slightly and handed the scouter to Herz.

Herz took the device and, in the blink of an eye, vanished in a streak of white light. With a battle power of 4,300, dealing with the creatures of a mid-tier planet posed no challenge to him.

Once Herz departed, Raiga and Sephyliya immediately began clearing the surrounding area with energy blasts. The ensuing explosions created towering mushroom clouds, leveling everything within a ten-kilometer radius. Rolling mountain ranges were flattened by their devastating power, leaving the barren earth radiating heat.

Next, they retrieved a small cabin from a universal capsule. With that, their temporary residence was set up.

"Take out your other gravity chamber," Sephyliya instructed.

"What do you need it for?" Raiga glanced at her but still retrieved another gravity training chamber.

Sephyliya replied indifferently, "From now on, this gravity chamber is mine. That's all."

With that, she flipped her hair, strode into the chamber, and slammed the door shut. Soon, the hum of the machine filled the air.

"This woman is so domineering. That was my training chamber!"

Raiga stared blankly at her actions, then chuckled wryly. "Sephyliya isn't just cold in personality—she's also a training maniac, just like Vegeta." During their journey to Planet Flay, she had already spent the most time in the gravity chamber.

"I hope she doesn't overdo it and damage her body. Senzu beans can heal injuries, but they can't cure illnesses."

Then again, in the original timeline, Vegeta used the gravity chamber extensively without any negative side effects. There shouldn't be any issues—but every body is different. After all, Goku inexplicably developed heart disease, and while the cause was unknown, it couldn't be ruled out that excessive gravity training played a role.

"Maybe I should use the Dragon Balls to wish for eternal health…"

Raiga shook off his random thoughts and entered the ship's gravity chamber.

Activating the 20x gravity setting, Raiga gritted his teeth and began his intense physical training.

Several hours later, Herz returned after exterminating all high-energy lifeforms on Planet Flay. Noticing that both Raiga and Sephyliya were immersed in training, he silently went out in search of food.

Saiyans had enormous appetites—three Saiyans could devour the equivalent of food for a hundred people in one sitting.

By evening, a crackling bonfire was ablaze. Raiga and his companions feasted heartily, gnawing on large portions of meat. A heap of bones, nearly as tall as a person, had already accumulated beside them.

"Sephyliya, my battle power has reached 5,000," Herz said between bites, reporting his training progress.

The gravity chamber was truly the ideal training tool for Saiyans. In just a few days, Herz's power had surged rapidly. As a naturally gifted elite warrior, it was no surprise that he had surpassed 4,000 battle power at only twenty-six years old.

Sephyliya tore off a large chunk of meat and stuffed it into her mouth. Her movements were bold, yet she managed to maintain an air of grace.

"I'm about to reach 6,000," she stated.

Raiga put down his food, wiping grease from the corner of his mouth. "Meanwhile, I haven't even hit 1,000 yet."

"Raiga, you're still young. At your age, I wasn't as strong as you are now," Herz reassured him, believing Raiga to be an elite warrior.

Sephyliya continued eating, her cold voice cutting in, "Don't flatter him. This brat only focuses on increasing his power but has no sense of battle techniques. If he fights an opponent of equal strength, he won't even know how he died."

Raiga shot her a glance. "Sister, do you have to keep putting me down?"

"You think you're strong? We Saiyans are known for battle, yet your combat ability is worse than a child fresh out of training camp." Sephyliya's piercing gaze locked onto him, her icy aura making Raiga shudder.

As his older sister, she was extremely dissatisfied with his current state. True strength lay in a balanced development of skills and power.

In battle, several factors determined the outcome—combat technique, attack speed, striking power, endurance, and recovery ability. While strength training could improve power, endurance, and speed, battle techniques could only be honed through actual combat experience.

Raiga continued eating, silently acknowledging the truth in her words. His biggest weakness was his lack of battle experience.

"Only by enduring real combat can one truly refine their fighting techniques."

"Don't be so hard on him," Herz said. "Raiga is still young. Right now, his main focus should be on raising his power."

Sephyliya furrowed her brows slightly. After a moment, she suddenly said, "Starting tomorrow, I'll be your sparring partner. I will personally improve your combat experience."

"Really?" Raiga's eyes lit up. In the past, Sephyliya had only used their training sessions to improve his endurance, never teaching him actual battle techniques.

While Saiyan infants received basic combat knowledge through training programs, nothing could compare to having Sephyliya as a personal instructor.

"Of course. Prepare yourself."

Sephyliya continued eating elegantly, her cold gaze fixed on Raiga.

"Uh…" Raiga's excitement instantly turned to dread. His mind flashed back to the many times Sephyliya had mercilessly beaten him in training.

Maybe he should've asked Herz to train him instead… Sephyliya never held back, and now that she knew he had Senzu beans, the chances of her going easy on him were practically nonexistent.
