Chapter 27 - Chapter 27

Planet Vegeta, a massive blue-white celestial body located in the North Galaxy, was one of the rare advanced planets. It was home to the Saiyans, a warrior race renowned for their battle prowess. Due to their aggressive nature, most beings in the universe would avoid conflict with them whenever possible.

However, the Saiyans had a notorious reputation across the cosmos for their ruthless methods while carrying out planet trade missions for Frieza. Their dominance and brutality did not earn them many friends.

Recently, the spaceport on Planet Vegeta had become busier than ever, with spacecraft continuously returning from various planets. A command from Frieza had summoned all Saiyans back to their home world.

Little did they know that this was the beginning of a catastrophe.

Whoosh!

Gentle waves rolled across the vast ocean, rippling in overlapping patterns under the caress of the wind.

Suddenly, a black silhouette appeared over the ocean. Raiga had finally returned to Planet Vegeta.

His journey from Earth had required thirty-eight teleportations. Without the help of Senzu Beans to sustain him, he would never have made it back with his mere 520 power level. Even so, the journey had taken over an hour.

Scanning the seemingly endless expanse of the sea, Raiga's figure flickered as a burst of white light surrounded him. Like a lightning bolt, he sliced through the waves and shot toward the coastline.

Though the distant land was barely visible, his energy detector helped him pinpoint the location of the Saiyan settlement.

"Next, I need to find Sephilia and take her away from Planet Vegeta."

With this thought, Raiga accelerated toward the Saiyan settlement, his dark silhouette streaking across the sky like a lightning bolt. As he neared the settlement, he lowered his altitude to fly just above the ground.

Passing over several Saiyan settlements, he noticed that Planet Vegeta was livelier than ever before.

The streets were bustling, with transport vehicles resembling small trains carrying spherical spacecraft. The landing zones were packed with smaller ships, and exhausted Saiyan warriors reunited with their families—a rare moment where Saiyans openly displayed their emotions.

Arriving at Sephilia's home, he found it empty. She had yet to return to Planet Vegeta.

A trip to the mission dispatch center revealed, upon checking under his status as her younger brother, that Sephilia's ship wouldn't arrive for another month.

Raiga frowned. This wasn't part of his plan. He had intended to find Sephilia and leave immediately. That was no longer an option.

"Judging by the current situation, many Saiyans are still returning. This means Frieza won't destroy Planet Vegeta just yet."

Estimating Frieza's timeline, he realized there was still some time left before the planet's destruction.

"Since I have time before Sephilia returns, I should use it to train. Any improvement in strength could make a difference." Compared to other Saiyans his age, Raiga's 520 power level at just five years old was exceptional, nearly rivaling that of elite warriors.

But against the strongest warriors on Planet Vegeta, his power was insignificant.

Determined to train, Raiga set up a surveillance camera in Sephilia's home to monitor any developments. Then, he left the settlement and flew over 1,000 kilometers to an isolated canyon. There, he retrieved a spherical gravity chamber from a universal capsule and set up a training zone amidst the fractured rock formations.

Adjusting the gravity chamber to 16 times Earth's gravity, he also fine-tuned the atmospheric pressure and temperature. The machine hummed loudly as the internal environment drastically changed.

Raiga took a deep breath and exhaled slowly, his dark eyes filled with focus. With unwavering determination, he stepped into the gravity chamber and began his intense gravity training.

The immense pressure of 16 times Earth's gravity weighed down on him. He gritted his teeth but endured it. Following Saiyan training principles, he started with the fundamentals. Energy control among intergalactic warriors was much cruder than on Earth—an effect of their environment.

Raiga aimed to combine his Saiyan bloodline with advanced gravity training techniques to maximize his growth.

Inside the chamber, he trained with relentless discipline—punching, dodging, leaping—his sweat soaking his hair. Time passed steadily, and his power surged as if an internal dam had burst.

Dawn arrived, and the sky took on a pale hue.

As the morning sun slowly rose, its gentle light penetrated the clouds, dyeing them a soft cherry-pink, radiating life and vibrancy.

By this time, Raiga had been training in the gravity chamber for a full month.

Beyond Planet Vegeta, Frieza's flagship hovered in its designated orbit, surrounded by smaller ships patrolling and monitoring all activity on the planet.

"Kikono, what's the status of the Saiyans?" Frieza's slightly hoarse voice carried across the bridge. Seated in a small hover pod, his cold eyes gazed outside the ship.

The yellow-skinned alien, Kikono, stood with his hands clasped behind his back. "Most of the Saiyans have returned. A few from remote locations will take more time."

A cruel smirk formed on Frieza's lips. "I can't wait any longer. Have the forces prepare—I will destroy Planet Vegeta in five days."

"The elimination of the Saiyans will weaken our military strength significantly." Kikono shook his head but didn't object. Among King Cold's remaining subordinates, only the elder Belliblu could speak to Frieza without fear.

"Hohoho... Gathering the Saiyans like this is the perfect opportunity to eradicate them and their planet." Frieza chuckled darkly. "They may have submitted to me for now, but deep down, they're warriors. One day, they might rise against me. I must eliminate them before that happens."

"Shambo, after Planet Vegeta is destroyed, use the Yugalian communications logs to track down any Saiyans who didn't return. Wipe them out."

"Understood, Lord Frieza. I won't let a single one escape."

The green-haired warrior, Shambo, bowed respectfully. Behind his handsome features lurked a bloodthirsty cruelty.

"That puts my mind at ease." Frieza laughed, nodding politely at Shambo. His blood-red gaze locked onto Planet Vegeta.

One by one, the stars glimmered as they streaked past, vanishing like fleeting meteors...
