Chapter 15 - Chapter 15

"Where did this brat come from? If you need money, go find your family. Stop hovering around me, or I'll beat you up!"

A thug with dyed hair took a drag from his cigarette and impatiently waved away a small child clutching a ceramic jar.

"Haha, why are you getting worked up over a kid?" Another thug leaned against the wall, puffing out smoke.

One of the gang members noticed how delicate and handsome Raiga's face was. He reached out to pinch the boy's cheek.

"This brat actually looks pretty good. Come on, let me take a closer look."

Someone jeered, "Buso, you that desperate? You're even going after kids now?"

"Don't say that—this kid does look pretty nice."

"HAHAHA!"

The thugs burst into laughter, completely at ease.

Raiga remained silent, his cold eyes watching them with amusement.

Just as the thug's hand was about to touch him, a sharp glint flashed in Raiga's eyes. He sidestepped the grasp effortlessly, clenched his fist, and—BAM!—landed a brutal punch to the thug's stomach. The man let out a pained howl, collapsing to the ground, clutching his abdomen in agony.

The other gang members, shocked by what had just happened, immediately stomped out their cigarettes and rushed in to help. But before they could even react, Raiga took them down in a matter of seconds. The entire fight had taken place in a secluded alley, so none of their cries for help reached the outside world.

"You guys seem to enjoy playing around, huh?" Raiga grinned, his expression turning icy. "What a coincidence. So do I."

A faint energy surged around his body. Then, he lifted his foot and stomped down hard.

BOOM!

The ground sank with a loud crack, shaking violently as spiderweb-like fissures split across the pavement.

The thugs stared in absolute horror, their faces drained of color. They scrambled backward, shaking.

"P-please, little bro, spare us! We won't mess around anymore! We swear, just let us go!" They started bowing their heads frantically, begging for their lives.

Raiga gazed at them coldly before flashing a bright smile.

"Hand over everything valuable you have."

"H-huh?" They hesitated, unsure of what he meant.

"I said, give me your money."

Raiga tightened his grip on the ceramic jar and repeated himself, unfazed by the isolated alleyway.

The thugs exchanged panicked glances but knew they had no choice. One by one, they emptied their pockets and handed over everything—seven wallets and a few capsule cases.

Raiga casually flipped through the cash, his brows furrowing in disappointment. Only a little over 3,000 zeni. The credit cards were useless to him. But the real treasure lay in the capsule cases. They were small but valuable. He weighed them in his palm before tossing the wallets back onto the ground.

Then, in front of their terrified eyes, he levitated off the ground and flew into the sky.

The gang members were left frozen in place.

"…He flew away."

"…He actually flew."

"He's a goddamn monster."

As realization dawned on them, the thugs turned pale.

"O-oi, should we report this to the police?" one of them stammered.

SMACK!

The leader of the group slapped him across the head.

"You dumbass! You think the cops will believe that a four-year-old kid mugged us and flew away?!"

"…Damn it, let's just go home. Today was a nightmare."

Outside the City

A lone figure flickered into existence on the outskirts of town. Raiga reappeared near a quiet farmland area, checking over the capsules he had taken.

He opened one of the capsule cases and examined its contents.

He pressed the activation button on a capsule and tossed it onto an empty field.

PSSSHH!

A white puff of smoke burst out, and a sleek hover bike appeared—a futuristic-looking jet-powered vehicle without wheels.

"Just like in the anime…" Raiga muttered with a smirk.

Capsules were truly a marvel of technology.

He continued testing the remaining capsules. Some were empty, while others contained household appliances and small transportation devices. No treasure, no big-ticket items like a house or a luxury camper.

"Well, makes sense. Those guys were just small-time thugs."

Sighing, Raiga turned his attention to the cash.

"3,000 zeni… should be enough to buy a few empty capsules."

Back in the City

Returning to town, Raiga checked into a hotel with his stolen cash.

He enjoyed a long, hot shower, scrubbing off the grime and sweat. After changing into new clothes, he realized his cash was almost gone.

"…Damn, money runs out fast."

Shaking his head, he pulled out a small cloth pouch and carefully stored away twenty senzu beans inside. The rest? He sealed them inside an empty capsule, making sure to carry it close to his body.

Unlike the primitive planets he'd visited before, Earth was a society where money mattered. If he wanted to live comfortably and enjoy the delicious food this planet had to offer, he needed serious funds.

"Money first. Then, everything else falls into place."

Then, an idea struck him.

The Pirate Treasure!

He suddenly recalled a plotline from the original manga—when Goku raided the Red Ribbon Army, he had encountered General Blue in an underwater pirate cave filled with treasure.

That pirate vault had been underwater, near Kame House, and packed with gold and jewels.

"If I remember correctly, it was somewhere near the Eastern Ocean… Not far from Master Roshi's island."

His eyes gleamed with excitement.

The very next morning, Raiga checked out of the hotel and took off at full speed toward the ocean.

Six Days Later – Over the Ocean

Raiga hovered high above the vast blue sea, scanning the endless waves below.

"…It should be around here somewhere."

He had flown several laps around the ocean, cross-referencing every detail he remembered from the manga.

"This has to be the right location, but… where's the entrance?"

Could it be that the pirate vault didn't exist yet? No—that was impossible.

According to the timeline, the treasure had been hidden for decades, meaning it should already be here.

"…Wait."

Raiga suddenly smacked his forehead.

Why didn't I think of this earlier?!

If the vault was filled with gold and metal artifacts, then he could just use a metal detector!

Grinning, Raiga flew to the nearest city and bought a high-grade metal detector with his remaining cash.

Back at Sea

With the detector in hand, it didn't take long.

Beep. BEEP. BEEP-BEEP-BEEP!

The device flared to life, detecting a massive metal presence beneath the waves.

Following the signal, Raiga grinned as he finally spotted it.

"…Got you."

Beneath the depths, hidden for years, lay the entrance to the legendary pirate vault.
