Felix was woken up by the sound of knocking.
It was fairly unusual. Usually, Kade would wait until Vivi started making her morning racket, to ensure that he wasn't the one responsible for waking Felix up when the Omega might have wanted to sleep some more. It was only a handful of times that he had come to bother Felix while he was still in bed, asleep.
A handful plus one, now, since the knocking came from the inner door connecting their rooms, so there was no question who the person responsible for the noise was. But if Kade were disturbing Felix early in the morning, it was probably important.
Felix let out a yawn, stretching his waist, and pushed off the blanket, before sliding off the bed. Remi was already long gone, only his jasmine scent still remained, hanging in the air. And a note on the bedside table, written in a familiar, ornamental hand, [I went to send a signal. I will be back soon.]
