Felix stared blankly at the closed door for a moment.
Why did Kade rush out so suddenly? Usually, he would want to stay with Felix as long as possible… Was it because of Felix's inquiry? Did he go to look it up immediately? It would appear so. Even though it wasn't Felix's intention to put pressure on him! Then again, it was urgent - they needed anything they could use to negotiate with Wilder, especially since Kade's attempts to lure the man into the forest had been so far very unsuccessful.
With all of those things on his mind, Felix completely forgot to get angry about the kiss. Not that it was anything new at this point - ever since Felix had moved into the Bloodmoon Pack's pack house, Kade had been sneaking light pecks so often, that Felix had long stopped bothering to count.
