To be honest, Felix found talking to Kade pointless at this point.
Not because he was particularly angry at Kade, or anything, not at all. He wasn't even angry at Kade's father. At the situation, maybe, but even that wasn't too intense. He hadn't had any high expectations from the start, so what was there to be disappointed about?
It was just yet another bump on the road, that's all. Felix would go through it, assess the damage, and move on.
Either way, the decision had been made. Felix understood that changing Einar's mind was near impossible - he was doing what was best from the pack's point of view, and unless Felix had any other additional information that could flip the situation upside down, his assessment would remain the same. And Felix didn't want to go against that - so discussing it with Kade would make no difference. The only reason would be to talk about his feelings…
