The city lights still bright macam pasar malam, but in the dark corners where nobody looked, danger was slowly growing.
Li Chuan and his team reached the registered address of Shen Yuan Group—an abandoned industrial building near Pudu. The building's walls were old, cracked like roti canai left overnight. At first glance, it looked like nobody been here for years. But Shen Qiu's satellite scan showed something else—power supply still running, and people had been moving in and out recently.
"Looks like we found the place," Su Man said, her fingers brushing over her gun holster, ready anytime to take action.
Cheng Mo smirked as he adjusted the knife at his waist. "This kind of place, always hiding the dirtiest secrets."
Li Chuan didn't say anything. He took the lead, moving towards the side of the building. They climbed up the rusty fire escape, careful not to make any noise. Strangely, the whole place was too quiet—like, even a stray cat also don't dare to come near.
"Eh, something not right," Shen Qiu muttered under his breath. "If this really their secret hideout, how come no security at all? No guards, no CCTV, nothing?"
Li Chuan's eyes sharpened. He lifted a hand, signaling everyone to stop moving. He scanned the surroundings, then noticed something weird—the dust on the ground. Some areas were thick with dust, but some spots were too clean.
"This is not a real abandoned building," he said softly. "They trying to act only."
Su Man looked around, her instincts on high alert. "You mean… got people here?"
Li Chuan nodded slightly. He crouched down, running his fingers along the floor. Under the dust, there was something almost invisible—a thin electronic sensor line.
"Laser detection system," Shen Qiu's voice tensed up. "They really don't want people sneaking in."
"Too bad lor… We already inside," Cheng Mo chuckled, his eyes flashing with danger.
Li Chuan glanced at him, then looked at Shen Qiu. "Can bypass it?"
Shen Qiu studied the wiring, then shook his head. "No way. This system very high-sensitivity one. If triggered, sure got direct alarm go to their main control."
Li Chuan thought for a moment. Then, he made a decision. "Then we make them come out sendiri."
Without another word, he lifted his gun and aimed at one of the surveillance cameras hanging just above the sensor line. BANG! A single shot—clean, precise. The camera burst into sparks, wires snapping loose.
"Oi, you crazy or what?" Su Man hissed, turning to stare at him. "Like this, we straight away kena expose lah!"
Li Chuan's lips curled into a slight smirk. "We came here to find them. Now, they will come to us."
Just a few seconds later—the entire building's lights turned red. The air filled with a deep, echoing alarm, like those in emergency drills. The sound bounced off the empty corridors, making the whole place feel even more sinister.
Su Man let out a long sigh. "Wah lao, you really did it."
Li Chuan pulled out his second pistol, his expression cold and focused. "Battle starts now."
