Chapter 318: I'm Here to Cause Trouble

Ōtsutsuki Kinshiki, seeing Momoshiki's determination, said nothing more.

As his guardian, he had the responsibility to ensure the other's safety.

So, the two of them simply continued waiting in place.

Yet, faintly, Kinshiki still felt an overwhelming unease.

Not long after, the owner of that mysterious and overwhelmingly powerful presence finally appeared.

That man descended from the void and stepped forward.

Seeing this, both Kinshiki and Momoshiki were utterly shocked.

At the same time, they finally understood why their enemy's speed had been so terrifying.

"Yomotsu Hirasaka, huh… So, this guy is also an Ōtsutsuki? But I've never seen him before?"

Momoshiki studied the newly appeared Uchiha Dali with suspicion.

"Never seen him," Kinshiki confirmed.

At this moment, Uchiha Dali slowly landed, walking toward them.

Momoshiki fixed him with a cold stare and asked, "You possess the power of the Ōtsutsuki clan, yet we don't know you. Who are you?"

"Someone here to cause you trouble."

Uchiha Dali answered with a half-smile.

"I can see that. Which means you're seeking death."

"But since we are all Ōtsutsuki, instead of fighting amongst ourselves, why not work together? What do you think?"

"In the current situation, as long as that man still exists, no one besides him can monopolize the Chakra Fruit."

Though his tone was unfriendly, Momoshiki unexpectedly extended an invitation to Uchiha Dali.

Hearing this, Dali's heart stirred, and he immediately asked, "That man?"

The first person who came to mind was the legendary Ōtsutsuki closest to godhood—Ōtsutsuki Shibai.

But hadn't that man already ascended?

Dali frowned inwardly.

Seeing that he seemed unaware of this figure, Momoshiki and Kinshiki exchanged a surprised glance.

Then Momoshiki nodded. "It seems you only recently evolved into an Ōtsutsuki."

As he spoke, he sized Dali up again.

Though this stranger clearly looked different from most Ōtsutsuki—still resembling a mere human without the clan's distinct features—his power had undeniably reached, and perhaps surpassed, that of ordinary members. There was no way his perception was wrong.

"So, who exactly is this man you're talking about?" Dali pressed.

Kinshiki couldn't hold back and answered, "That man's name is Ōtsutsuki Kyōshiki, the strongest of our clan at present."

"He demands that all Chakra Fruits gathered outside must be handed over to him. If anyone dares defy his will, even fellow clan members, he will kill them."

"Another one—Ōtsutsuki Kyōshiki?"

Dali frowned.

Ōtsutsuki Shibai had once been the strongest, nearly transcendent.

After reaching a higher plane, he had abandoned his body and ascended to another dimension.

And now, it seemed this Ōtsutsuki Kyōshiki had become the second to approach that same realm?

Seeing doubt flicker across Dali's face, Momoshiki snorted. "Trust me, you don't want to face that man."

"We are all unwilling to submit, so we resist. Surely, you too wouldn't want to hand over your hard-earned Chakra Fruit, would you?"

"So, we could work together."

He once more extended his hand in invitation.

But Dali ignored him, turning instead to Kinshiki. "You two—where are you headed next?"

"To the next planet," Kinshiki replied.

"And after that?"

"That question sounds like you're picking a fight," Momoshiki cut in for him.

"That's right. I already said—I'm here to cause you trouble."

Dali spread his arms, admitting it openly.

His attitude left Momoshiki confused about what exactly he was playing at.

After staring at him for several seconds, Momoshiki asked in a low voice, "So you mean to face Kyōshiki alone…"

"Before that, I need to keep raising my own strength. So… what should I do? It's quite troubling."

"How about you give me some advice?"

Dali spread his hands again, grinning at the two.

Their faces darkened.

Yet, sensing the immense chakra pouring from Dali, they felt a growing wariness, not daring to act rashly.

Momoshiki even softened his tone. "Fighting each other won't help us grow faster. If that really is your goal, then we should cooperate."

"Splitting up would allow us to harvest more Chakra Fruits in the same amount of time."

"If you're alone, how will you solve this problem? You can only plant one Divine Tree at a time, right?"

What Momoshiki didn't know was that this was the very last thing Dali needed to worry about.

At that moment, Dali smiled faintly.

Then he raised his hand.

The two immediately thought he was about to strike, retreating sharply and going on guard.

But the next instant, a string of bang, bang noises rang out.

In the blink of an eye, dozens of identical Uchiha Dali appeared before them.

"Shadow Clones? You intend to… wait, no! These aren't Shadow Clones?!"

"They're…"

Sensing the chakra flowing from each copy—virtually identical to the original Dali's, undiminished—and feeling the combined aura of dozens stacking together, Momoshiki and Kinshiki were crushed beneath an overwhelming pressure.

In that moment, Momoshiki realized something was very wrong.

He never expected the man before him to possess such an ability!

"What is this power?" he demanded, unsettled.

"A power that allows me to quickly harvest Chakra Fruits in the shortest time possible."

Dali answered with a grin.

Momoshiki's eyes turned icy at those words, his own aura swelling in response.

"So it's decided—you insist on fighting us!"
