Chapter 151 - Chapter 151: Advanced Observation Haki

Chapter 151: Advanced Observation Haki

As Uchiha Dali activated his Observation Haki once again, his sensory perception instantly spread out, covering a radius of over a hundred kilometers.

However, there was still no sign of the Five-Tails.

He turned to Rōshi, the Four-Tails' Jinchūriki. "Do you know where the Five-Tails is?"

Rōshi was momentarily stunned.

Considering that the man before him had single-handedly infiltrated the Land of Earth, precisely located him, and taken him down—it was obvious he had done his homework before arriving.

So it wasn't surprising that he also knew about the Five-Tails' Jinchūriki.

"How would I know where that guy is?"

"But you could try looking near Iwagakure."

"If he's not in the village itself, he probably hasn't gone far. After all, it's that guy…"

At this point, Rōshi seemed to recall some things from the past.

The Five-Tails' Jinchūriki had actually been through much of the same as him.

Both of them had been forcibly implanted with a Tailed Beast by the village at a young age, turned from ordinary children into Jinchūriki.

And being a Jinchūriki meant becoming a perceived threat in the eyes of the villagers.

From a young age, Rōshi and Han had suffered countless hardships—ostracized, criticized, shunned.

It was precisely these unfortunate childhood experiences that made them grow increasingly resentful of the village as they grew older.

Even so, in the beginning, they had still contributed significantly to Iwagakure, accomplishing countless missions and earning many merits.

Especially Han, the Five-Tails' Jinchūriki.

That guy possessed a unique Bloodline Limit ability. Using this power in combination with the Tailed Beast's strength, he gradually built a fearsome reputation through numerous battles, eventually earning the title "Steam Ninja," renowned across the entire shinobi world.

He truly brought great glory to Iwagakure.

So even though he was eventually driven out due to repeated Tailed Beast rampages and the resulting fear from the villagers, and he willingly left to prevent further harm from potential rampages—

Han's heart still remained loyal to Iwagakure.

This was different from Rōshi, who had chosen to leave due to ideological clashes with Ōnoki and deep disappointment with the village, pursuing a life of ascetic wandering.

That was why Rōshi believed that even if Han had left the village, he likely hadn't gone far.

After hearing this explanation, Uchiha Dali made up his mind.

"Then let's go."

Without even giving a heads-up, he directly activated the Advanced Flying Thunder God Technique, vanishing with Rōshi in tow.

When they reappeared, they had traveled from one stretch of desolate wilderness to another.

But this time, they were at a vantage point overlooking the entirety of Iwagakure at the foot of the mountain.

After so many years, the village still looked peaceful and serene.

A surge of complex emotion suddenly welled up in Rōshi's heart.

Although that old man Ōnoki was certainly unpleasant, under his leadership, while life in Iwagakure might not have improved dramatically, it was at least relatively peaceful and stable.

They hadn't been bullied or manipulated like some of the smaller nations.

But how long could such peace and rare tranquility really last?

What if his homeland were to fall into the flames of war and become a living hell—he didn't even dare imagine the consequences.

In that moment, Rōshi suddenly found himself somewhat understanding Uchiha Dali's goal.

To create a peaceful shinobi world.

To ensure that his homeland would never—ever—be touched by war.

He had never felt such a strong yearning before.

"What's with you?"

Uchiha Dali looked at him curiously.

He'd noticed for a while now that Rōshi had been staring at him with a strange expression.

"It's nothing."

Rōshi averted his gaze nonchalantly, once again looking out at Iwagakure in the distance.

After a brief silence, he suddenly said, "If possible… could you not bring war to Iwagakure?"

Hearing this sudden request, Uchiha Dali curiously scanned him using his Observation Haki.

Instantly, some of Rōshi's inner thoughts were perceived.

"Not enough… These thoughts aren't complete…"

"Looks like my Observation Haki isn't strong enough yet."

As he was thinking this, a notification suddenly rang in his ears.

[You are seriously using Observation Haki and attempting to exert a more powerful sensory effect. Your Observation Haki has broken through—Advanced Observation Haki unlocked!]

[Advanced Observation Haki: A significantly enhanced state of Observation Haki. At this level, one can predict opponents' attacks, read their inner thoughts, sense emotional changes, detect the number, position, and distance of targets, and even foresee the future.]

"So I've already evolved to the advanced level…"

Uchiha Dali was a bit surprised.

He hadn't expected to achieve a breakthrough at this moment.

He looked at Rōshi again.

This time, he fully grasped all the thoughts in the other man's mind.

Understanding why Rōshi had suddenly made such a request, Uchiha Dali couldn't help but smile slightly. "You can rest easy—completely at ease."

"Before I met you, I'd already been here and had a meeting with your Third Tsuchikage, Ōnoki."

"If I wanted to, this place probably wouldn't even exist anymore."

His tone was light, as if he were discussing something insignificant—something he could accomplish with a single breath.

But upon hearing those words, Rōshi still felt a strange pressure and was inwardly shocked.

So he had already visited Iwagakure?

He looked at Uchiha Dali in disbelief.

"So even that arrogant old man Ōnoki couldn't stop you…"

Rōshi muttered.

Uchiha Dali simply smiled without replying.

Soon, his Observation Haki picked up on a chakra signature—an incredibly powerful one.

And it didn't belong to Ōnoki or any of the other elite Iwagakure shinobi.

Back when he'd roamed the village, he'd already marked and remembered their chakra signatures. Even though he hadn't unlocked Observation Haki back then, he wouldn't mistake it.

"If it's not the Third Tsuchikage Ōnoki, and not any of Iwagakure's elite, then there's only one possibility left."

With that thought, Uchiha Dali turned to Rōshi. "Your suggestion was spot-on."

The moment he finished speaking, the two vanished again.

In the next instant, they appeared atop another mountain peak.

Having just witnessed this miraculous instantaneous movement once more, Rōshi found himself even more in awe of Uchiha Dali.
