Chapter 83 - Chapter 83: End of the Alabasta Arc

At that moment, Vivi, also realizing the seriousness of the situation, walked over to Nami. While gently massaging her shoulders, she tried to placate her:

"Nami, we're best friends, right? You wouldn't really do this to me... would you?"

Nami let out a cold chuckle. "When you and your man teamed up to screw me over, did it ever cross your mind that I was your best friend? You looked like you were having quite the time. Honestly, your 'crime' is even worse than Linglong's."

Lu Linglong, whose name was suddenly brought up, shrank her neck. She didn't dare speak now—compared to the astronomical numbers the other two were facing, her 50,000 points felt like nothing.

Vivi smiled awkwardly. "I can give you Berries. You love those the most, right? How about... 300 million?"

Hearing that number, Cobra winced in pain. For the current Alabasta, 300 million Berries was an astronomical amount.

Nami scoffed, "Berries don't even come close to the value of points. Ten million Berries is barely worth a single point."

Su Xiaoqi looked at Nami and said, "Come on, just say it. I know 180,000 is out of the question."

Nami smiled, then pulled out a piece of paper from inside her clothes and handed it to Su Xiaoqi. "Sign this, and I'll waive the points. Otherwise, the bottom line is 100,000—no negotiations."

Su Xiaoqi glanced at the title at the top of the page:"Seven Commands the Goddess Nami Demands Su Xiaoqi Must Obey"

Without even reading further, he tore the paper to shreds.

With a title like that, did he really need to read the rest?

"I'll take the 100,000 points."

The moment Nami heard his response, her expression turned dark. Even though Su Xiaoqi had screwed her over pretty badly, she hadn't truly been mad—until now.

But remembering what Kureha had told her on Drum Island, she swallowed her anger and glared at Su Xiaoqi. "Pay it off within a month. Otherwise, daily interest accrues at 10%."

Su Xiaoqi nodded. "Fine. I'll have Zhuqing transfer it to you after midnight."

Watching the still-angry Nami, Vivi grew concerned. She knew Nami didn't really care that much about the points—but it wasn't something she could openly say.

After that little hiccup, the atmosphere of the banquet turned a bit awkward, but thankfully, with a few clowns around, the party vibe quickly returned.

[Notification: Group member Nami has successfully altered the storyline. Awarded: 100,000 points.]

[Notification: Group member Su Xiaoqi has successfully altered the storyline. Awarded: 80,000 points.]

[Notification: …]

When Nami saw how many points she had earned today, all her displeasure instantly vanished. She decided that taking on the identity of "Captain of the Yorozuya Pirate Crew" wasn't such a bad thing after all.

Still, when she looked at Su Xiaoqi, she couldn't help but coldly snort at him. That infuriating man hadn't even come over to coax her a little. Sure, she loved points, but some things meant more to her than that.

[Notification: Zhu Zhuqing has sent a red envelope to Nami.]

"Here's the 100,000 points. From now on, don't interfere when I want to see Vivi."

"Hmph."

As the banquet gradually wound down, all the group chat members—except Su Xiaoqi and Zhu Zhuqing—had already said their goodbyes and returned to their respective worlds.

Looking at the Straw Hat crew sprawled out drunk in front of him, Su Xiaoqi chuckled. "It really does feel strange without them causing a ruckus around."

After chatting a bit with Nami, Zhu Zhuqing walked up to Su Xiaoqi and said, "I'm heading back to the Douluo Continent. You stay here a bit longer with Vivi."

Su Xiaoqi gave her a hug. "I'll see you at Linglong's place. Say hi to Rongrong and Yiran for me."

"I will." Zhu Zhuqing nodded, then looked over at Vivi. "See you next time."

Vivi smiled warmly. "I'll miss you, Zhuqing. And thank you."

After Zhu Zhuqing left, Vivi turned to the women around her and said, "Nami, Robin, and Tashigi—please take care of Luffy and the others. I need to talk privately with Su Xiaoqi."

Su Xiaoqi added, "Robin, Tashigi—until next time. When those guys wake up tomorrow, say goodbye to them for me."

Watching the pair walk off, Nami muttered sourly, "What kind of 'private talk' are they having that we can't hear? Sounds more like they're off to do something sneaky."

Robin smiled. "Our navigator better work hard."

"Robin, what are you saying? I have no idea what you mean. Hehehe…"

Meanwhile, Vivi led Su Xiaoqi to her room and told him to wait there while she got something ready.

By the time she returned, Su Xiaoqi was nearly asleep—until he saw Vivi enter the room wearing a bathrobe.

"Vivi, what's this about…"

Blushing, Vivi spoke softly, "No questions. Go take a shower. I want to spend our last bit of time talking—just the two of us."

"What kind of conversation needs a shower beforehand? This 'talk'... it's definitely not a normal one."

Though he had doubts, Su Xiaoqi wasn't dumb enough to ask further. He quickly showered and returned five minutes later.

"Okay… the lights are off too. This definitely isn't a normal conversation."

Climbing into bed in the dark, Su Xiaoqi pulled Vivi into his arms and teased, "Vivi, this whole act… you're not just planning to have a simple chat, are you?"

Leaning into his embrace, Vivi whispered, "Xiaoqi, even though our relationship just started, things are very different for me than for Zhuqing."

"Most of the time, I can't talk to you through the chat group. Soon I'll be sailing with Luffy and the others. Us girls will be sleeping in the same room—it'll be nearly impossible for us to be alone like this until the voyage ends or until you draw a travel card."

"I don't want to wait that long. So tonight, in the place I know best, I want to give myself to you. That way, even when you're not with me, I'll still feel your presence."

Hearing her heartfelt confession, Su Xiaoqi was deeply moved. A girl this wonderful—he would cherish her with all his heart.

"Vivi, I won't let you wait long. Whether it's you or Zhuqing, I will never abandon either of you."

That night, Su Xiaoqi and Vivi went from being a boy and girl… to becoming a man and woman.

They spoke about many things—from their awkward first meeting, to dreams of the future they now shared.

By early morning, just thirty minutes remained before the countdown would end. With Vivi's help, Su Xiaoqi got dressed.

Seeing her exhausted expression, he said gently, "Get some good rest. Take today to recover, and set sail tomorrow, alright?"

"Got it."

Vivi shyly nodded. Remembering the passion of the previous night—and Su Xiaoqi's impressive 'strength'—her face flushed red. Thankfully, she'd have Zhuqing to help her share the burden in the future. On her own… it was truly too much.

Seeing her embarrassed expression, Su Xiaoqi chuckled, then handed her a card. "Almost forgot—this is for you. Use it for now. I'll give you something better once I draw it."

"'Sailor Mercury Transformation Card?'" Vivi read the text aloud, then looked at Su Xiaoqi. "What's a Sailor Senshi?"

Su Xiaoqi laughed. "It's a magical girl transformation card—perfect for a beautiful girl like you. The details are on the back."

"Alright, time's almost up. I need to go. While you're at sea, be careful and take care of yourself. I'll be thinking of you every day."

Vivi gave him a kiss on the cheek. "I'll wait for you, hubby."

Just as Su Xiaoqi left, a knock came at the door. "Vivi, are you awake?" It was Nami's voice.

"Coming!"

However, as Vivi took her first steps, a sudden soreness spread through her body. She could only hobble slowly toward the door.

Seeing Vivi's pained expression, Nami asked with concern, "Vivi, what's wrong? Are you feeling sick?"

"I'm fine… just tripped and fell."

She couldn't possibly tell the real reason she was sore—that would be far too embarrassing.

Nami rolled her eyes. "Do you take me for an idiot? I may not have experienced it, but I've heard enough to know what's up. Come on, back to bed with you."

Knowing she'd been exposed, Vivi gave up pretending and let Nami help her back to bed.

Lying down, Vivi looked at the silent Nami and cautiously said, "Nami… I didn't mean to lie. Please don't be mad."

Nami chuckled. "Why would I be mad at you? If anything, I should be mad at that jerk."

"But I really didn't expect you to give yourself to him so soon. That bastard really lucked out."

Vivi smiled. "Nami, when did you start liking Xiaoqi?"

Nami didn't try to hide it. "Probably when he killed Arlong and Nezumi for me. At first, it was mostly gratitude. But over time, the way we interacted… I found myself falling for him."

"But what's the point? He doesn't like me. In fact, I think he kind of hates me."

"I get it—he has a bias because of the original version of me. But I've changed. I don't wear those revealing clothes anymore, and I keep my distance from other men."

Vivi thought for a moment. "Why not just tell him directly?"

Nami sighed. "It's no use. He'd think I'm just trying to manipulate him. After this whole 100,000 points fiasco, our relationship is probably even more strained."

"I could try talking to him for you."

Nami shook her head. "No need. I don't want to pressure him. Besides, I like the way we are now. There's still plenty of time ahead."

"I refuse to believe that I, the captain of the Yorozuya Pirate Crew—with a 300 million Berries bounty—can't win him over."

Vivi smiled. "I'll be rooting for you, Captain."

"Oh, and Vivi—consider the 100,000 points he gave me as being kept safe with me. If you want to draw prizes or buy anything, just let me know."

"But before that…" Nami grinned slyly. "Tell me—what did it feel like? Was it really that intense? How long did you two last on your first time? I need to be mentally prepared."

"Eh?!" Vivi's face turned beet red. "Can I… not answer that?"

"What do you think, my dearest bestie?"
