As soon as Lu Linglong said that, Su Xiaoqi quickly wrapped his tail around his waist. Although he had been training these past few days, he hadn't yet completely overcome this particular weakness.

Sakuragi Hanamichi and Kaito Kuroba had deemed this place too dangerous—they weren't about to risk their lives. They'd rather wait until the climax to swoop in and grab some points.
As for Kurumi Tokisaki, she actually wanted to come, but Nami was worried that if she did, she might treat all the citizens of Alabasta as "food" and devour them. So, for now, Nami hadn't agreed to let her join.
"I see…" Zoro nodded. He then glanced at Sakata Gintoki, who was currently walking with his arm slung over Sanji's shoulder, and asked, "Is that white-haired guy's swordsmanship really as strong as you say?"
Su Xiaoqi chuckled, "You'll find out once you fight him yourself. The worlds out there are vast—your so-called world's greatest swordsman, Dracule Mihawk, is way down the rankings out there. So, work hard."
Zoro grinned. "Is that so? Then I really look forward to facing them."
Finding Luffy was easy. Besides restaurants, wherever there was chaos, he was bound to be there.
Sure enough, when the group arrived in town, they didn't even need to look—Luffy was already being chased. And the one chasing him? His old rival, Smoker.
But unlike in the original timeline, this was now a personal grudge. So aside from Smoker and Tashigi, there were no other marines present.

Su Xiaoqi grinned. "Isn't this great? I'll go stretch my muscles a bit. You guys go shop around and pick up some supplies."
"Damn it, he's hogging all the spotlight again."
Sanji clenched his teeth. Despite his intense training over the past few days, he still hadn't mastered Armament Haki. As a result, he was no match for Logia-type Devil Fruit users.
Sakata Gintoki whispered, "Curly-brows, are you dumb? With that guy gone, it's our chance. Except for Miss Bamboo over there, the rest are fair game. We each take two."

Zoro looked at the two of them in disgust. "Idiots."

Meanwhile, Su Xiaoqi, having caught up to Luffy, didn't immediately engage Smoker. Instead, he knocked out Tashigi and captured her. This time, he had to ensure Nami got a marine bounty—and turn her into a truly fearsome pirate.
"Marine ahead, listen up! You're surrounded by the Yorozuya Pirate Crew. If you don't want to die, back off!"
Luffy and Smoker, who were running below, both came to a sudden halt and looked up.
Seeing Su Xiaoqi in the sky, Luffy's face lit up and he shouted, "Su Xiaoqi! Are you here to save me?!"
Smoker, on the other hand, widened his eyes in shock when he saw Tashigi in Su Xiaoqi's grasp and roared, "Kid! Let go of Tashigi!"
Ignoring Smoker's shouting, Su Xiaoqi looked at Luffy and said, "Luffy, Captain Nami wants you to find her. She's already prepared your favorite meat."
"Captain Nami?" Luffy blinked in confusion at the title but forgot all about it upon hearing "meat." Laughing, he said, "I'll leave this Smoke Guy to you! I'll save your portion for later!"
Smoker wanted to chase after Luffy, but with Tashigi in Su Xiaoqi's hands, he had no choice but to let him go. Glaring at Su Xiaoqi, he asked, "Who are you? And what's your connection to that kid?"
Su Xiaoqi grinned. "I'm a hired thug for the Yorozuya Pirate Crew. My current boss is Nami, who happens to be an ally of the Straw Hat Pirates."
"Yorozuya Pirate Crew?"
Smoker knew of them—they were suspected of killing Captain Nezumi of the East Blue's 16th Marine Branch. He didn't expect to run into them here.
"You're the ones who killed that Captain Nezumi from the East Blue? Why are you here?"
"Nezumi or not, I was just recently hired. Our goal here is to kidnap Princess Vivi. My boss offered a sky-high price of 300 million Berries."
Su Xiaoqi "truthfully" answered all of Smoker's questions.
Smoker pressed on. "Who else is in the Yorozuya Pirate Crew?"
Growing impatient, Su Xiaoqi replied, "Why are you asking so much? I'm not going to tell you that our vice-captain, the great Sakata Gintoki, has white hair, dead fish eyes, and carries a wooden sword engraved with the words 'Lake Toya.'"
Smoker's mouth twitched. You might as well give me a photo while you're at it.
Seeing the confused look on Smoker's face, Su Xiaoqi laughed inwardly, then said aloud, "My boss Nami told me—she just loves torturing female marines. So I'm taking this chick back. If you're smart, get out of the way. Or I won't be so nice."
"Then let's see if you've got what it takes."
As Smoker finished his sentence, his lower body turned into smoke as he launched himself at Su Xiaoqi in the sky.
During the battle that followed, Su Xiaoqi used Smoker as a guinea pig to conduct various experiments. Ultimately, he confirmed that ki and ki blasts from the Dragon Ball world could indeed injure a Logia-type Devil Fruit user.
