Mura reacted quickly. "Ninetales, dodge!"
Ninetales elegantly leaped aside, avoiding the devastating strike. The impact of Aqua Tail shattered the battlefield, leaving a deep crater.
Mura seized the opening. "Ninetales, use Solar Beam!"
Ninetales' tails glowed as it gathered solar energy.
Aoki wasn't fazed. "Gyarados, counter with Hyper Beam at full power!"
A golden glow formed in Gyarados' mouth, condensing tremendous energy.
The battlefield lit up with an intense clash—Ninetales' Solar Beam met Gyarados' Hyper Beam in a blinding explosion. The ground cracked, leaving a massive crater.
Kamizrai clenched his fists. "That was incredible…!"
Flannery was just as awed. "Is this the power of Elite-level Pokémon?"
The smoke cleared, revealing both Pokémon still standing, though visibly exhausted.
Mura smiled. "Your Gyarados is tough, but my Ninetales won't lose that easily. Ninetales, use Energy Ball!"
Ninetales swiftly jumped, conjuring a green sphere of energy with its tails before hurling it toward Gyarados.
Aoki responded instantly. "Gyarados, use Aqua Tail!"
With a single mighty swing, Gyarados shattered the Energy Ball.
Aoki pressed the advantage. "Keep up the attack! Aqua Tail again!"
Gyarados surged forward, its tail cloaked in water, slamming down toward Ninetales.
Mura countered. "Ninetales, dodge and prepare another Solar Beam!"
Ninetales narrowly avoided the attack, repositioning itself with a radiant glow forming at the tips of its tails.
Aoki wasn't letting up. "Gyarados, use Hyper Beam again!"
Another clash of Solar Beam and Hyper Beam erupted, causing another massive explosion that shook the battlefield.
Aoki saw his chance. "Gyarados, rush in while the smoke is still up!"
Gyarados shot forward at full speed, closing in on Ninetales before it could react.
"Ninetales, be careful!" Mura warned.
Ninetales tensed, tails raised in defense.
Aoki's voice rang out. "Now! Aqua Tail—finish it!"
Gyarados' tail surged with powerful water energy as it slammed down on Ninetales with full force.
