Liam and Valen were both facing each other with only the referee in between them.
"Sorry you had to go through these rough few days. I hope you have recovered," Valen said.
Liam was wrapping his hand with hand wraps.
It was his first time doing it, so he was not very good at it.
And so certain parts of the wraps, especially the ones near his wrist, came undone every few seconds.
Jorvik covered his face with his chained hands as he heard the whispers around him.
"He can't even wrap his hands..." They chuckled.
"How did he fight me that well if he can't even do that?" he thought.
One of the first things a noble is trained in before even fighting is how to wrap their hands.
This allowed them to protect their hands more.
Liam was frustrated as well, trying to fix the mistakes that he had made. "Those fighters make it seem so easy," he thought.
"Who could have thought copying their fighting skill would be easier than wrapping my hand."
