Danny walked through the portal. He arrived in the same spot last time. He looked around. It was brighter in the room than it was last time. Possible because he was here in the middle of the night. Not seeing Alfred. Danny closed his eyes. He stretched out his senses. It took a minute to pinpoint him.
It only took two minutes to find Alfred's signature; it seemed he was busy at the moment. Danny decided to wait until Alfred looked to be alone. Once he was alone, Danny appeared.
"Hey Buddie,"
Alfred jumped slightly, then turned when he recognized the voice.
"Momma!" Alfred smiled.
Danny smiled and pulled Alfred into a hug.
"It hasn't been too long, baby."
"No, Momma, it's only been two weeks,"
"Good, I brought a care basket with me this time,"
"What kind of basket?"
"Well, I guess it's welcome to the family basket, the two other kids helped make it up,"
"I have siblings," Alfred says excitedly, eyes wide with hope.
"Yeah, a younger sister and an older brother,"
"What are their names?"
"Ellie and Dan, well, that's what they go by, but their legal names are Danielle and Dante,"
"Ellie and Dan," Alfred repeated it memorizing the names of his new siblings.
"Yeah, they helped me make up the gift basket for you," Danny pulled out the basket.
"Whoa!" Alfred's eyes sparkled.
"There are some homemade brownies and cookies," Danny pointed out.
"Really sweets,"
"Yeah then there also this Teddy bear from Ellie and Dan got this blanket from one of my friends…oh and some letters from your new siblings,"
Alfred's eyes widened happily.
"Yeah they can't wait to get to know you,"
Danny hands Alfred the basket. Alfred took the basket from him. And picked out the sweets that are still warm. He smiled touched the plush bear in a butler costume it's soft. The blanket was warm and soft. And looked at the two letter and held them.
"You can open them,"
"I know these are actually my first letters I've ever gotten,"
Danny smiled "Expect a lot more then,"
Alfred smiled.
"Once you finish then I'll stay so you can reply right away,"
