Chapter 72 - Chapter 65: The Begining of Terror

Toji Fushiguro.

This was a name known far and wide in the underworld and talked of rarely in the media.

An assassin who has evaded capture, with an estimated body count of over 30 eliminated targets. Politicians, government officials, and more. Every mission a success.

For a good enough price, this man would make sure whoever you needed dead would be gone. A man whom law enforcement has rarely caught and knows very little about.

All that was gathered on this dangerous man was the name Toji Fushiguro. Unknown if he had any loved ones or family, making tracking down any information on him even more difficult.

And at this very moment, he stood there casually across from Satoru. Dagger and pistol in each hand as he glanced curiously at blue eyed boy in front of him. "Not nice of you heroes to ruin this group's plan. I'm going to miss my payday." He spoke loud enough to attempt a conversation with him.

"Yea well, as a Hero kinda, my job don't you think." Gojo stood alert, the wound in his hand already healed. He kept his eyes on the man before him, not risking letting him out of his sight even as he heard the painful groans of Kaminari.

'If I can stall him enough, then those snipers should be able to take him out. Fuck this went way above what I expected.' Gojo thought to himself.

Toji took out the bullet chamber as he glanced at it before shoving it back into the gun and cocked it. "Regrettably, the directives needed to be changed. I took out Burnin, Manual, Ironstride and hose snipers. My hirer asked to leave the heroes alive, but you'll have to bury a few police force members.

So… In short, this entire plan has shattered, and the Hero Commission will pursue me. It's a shame, I really wanted to see this place go up in smoke." He said as he rolled his neck to the side.

Gojo rolled his shoulders as his face darkened. "Why kill them, if I may ask? Who are you working for? In fact, what is a mercenary doing working with terrorists?" He posed the questions to the man.

'He's fast. Insanely fast. Almost reminding me of All Might but slower. He must have some sort of speed quirk. I need to get to Kaminari and get us out.' His thoughts ran through his mind.

Toji cracked his neck as he hopped on one foot, seeing the man do this made Gojo tense up. "Alright kid. Here's how it'll go, I'm going to drop these two canisters of tear gas in my back pockets, then I'll jog over to your friend and I guess I'll kill him then I'll kill you before you make it outside."

He said that as if it were a casual fact, like talking about his plan for grocery shopping as he prepared himself. Gojo immediately turned around, instantly warping over to Kaminari and hauling him over his shoulder before he made a break for the exit.

Toji's eyes widened as he sighed a breath of annoyance. 'I forgot he warps.' He instantly threw down the canisters of tear gas, bent his knees and vanished from his spot, only to appear between Gojo and the exit, throwing down another tear gas as he pulled out a mask as he prepared to charge at Gojo.

Gojo on the other hand, halted the door a few meters ahead, but with Toji in between him and their exit, and the tear gas, he had to get out and warn the police, civilians, and other heroes who showed up.

While holding Kaminari over his shoulder with one arm, he stretched his other arm to the side, space warping into a sphere as it took on a blue hue.

Toji shot his gun, then at the same time rushed to stab him, his speed had him reach the boy before his bullets did, but his dagger and bullets all stopped before readying himself as the blue sphere grew more violent.

MAXIMUM OUTPUT: BLUE

Gojo threw the Blue behind him before he commanded it and directed it to go around him. It started sucking in the tear gas, ripping up the floor and pulling in items from the stalls, concrete, and various items from the mall floor as the sphere grew in size.

Noticing this, Toji instantly turned on his heels and vanished before Gojo's eyes. He became a blur as he ran to avoid the pseudo black hole the boy before him created.

Gojo directed it to the exit, sunlight up the ear gas before it ripped wrought the doors and walls.

Outside, the sudden violent shaking and destruction of the exit door and walls, created by the sudden large blue sphere high in the air pulling in items, shocked them all.

Nearby civilians all ran away from it. Ambulances and police vehicles nearly lifted into the air, even medical assistants and SWAT members all rushed down to the ground to avoid being pulled into the swirling blue vortex.

After a few seconds, it flew into the air, high enough not to affect those on the ground.

Some had managed to catch the sight of Gojo rushing out with Kaminari on his shoulder, his right hand in the air as he commanded Blue.

Soon everything it pulled in, the debris and objects all slowly vanished as they swirled around in the blue vortex, getting crushed and compressed down further and further until a minute later, as everything that the Blue Vortex had pulled with it began to disappear, being crushed into nothingness.

"Phew, that was a close one." Gojo said as he threw down Kaminari on the ground, who gave a painful groan in response.

Immediately as the police chief and other law enforcers, including heroes, realised the blue was over, all got up and looked at Gojo.

The police chief came up to Gojo, as well as some civilians angered about the potential danger he caused by his stunt.

In that very moment Endeavor appeared on the scene, Todoroki behind him as he rushed to Gojo.

"Have you any idea–" Both Endeavor and the police chief were about to speak before Gojo interrupted them, "Toji Fushiguro, your police force members are possibly dead, Manual, Iron whatever and Burnin are most likely incapacitated on the other floors."

Immediately Endeavor blitzed through the damaged entrance of the mall, the police chief ran inside, officers following behind him, running past Gojo and Kaminari.

Gojo sat down, letting out a sigh and laid back down on the concrete sidewalk with Kaminari as medics came to the two young teens.

Elsewhere…

Within the hideout bar of Shigaraki, the air was tense.

Kurogiri was behind the counter, in front of him, glass shards lay over the counter as he had dropped a wine glass.

Sukuna sat at the counter, eating a rare steak, the meat in front of him being sliced into pieces without a knife as he looked at a few reports and files of Jogo next to his plate.

A map of Fukuoka with markings on it, namely the agency of the Dragon Pro Hero Ryukyu, and a picture of the Pro Hero Sir Nighteye, was to his side as he glanced at the piece of bloody meat on his fork.

His indifference to the scene that was happening behind him was remarkable. Shigaraki, who had an assailant that pinned him to the ground, held a bloodied blade to his lips with blades in each of Shigaraki's shoulders.

The man pinning him like this was a muscular, intimidating man with a distinct flat face and no nose, dressed in a dark combat suit, sleeveless with bandaged arms, metallic armor plating, and his signature blood-red scarf and headband.

"Such childish views. Murder without reason. I despise people like you. You lack true conviction, you lack true meaning to the chaos you want to cause." The man, known as Stain, spat out to the boy below him who couldn't move.

To the far right was a fuzzy, pixilated screen, the faint sounds of breathing auditable enough to be heard.

Shigaraki moved his right arm to his left shoulder, gripping the handle of the dagger tightly as it slowly grew an orange brown rusty colour. "Conviction? Really now… I don't have anything like that.

I just want to crush this society in its entirety. The society where trash like… like All Might are worshiped… yes. That's it. He is my problem now, isn't he?" Shigaraki spoke hoarsely slowly as his maniacal grin grew wider.

Stain looked disgusted at the man below him. Suddenly Shigaraki threw his right hand aiming for his neck, Stain jumped backwards, pulling the dagger that was in his left shoulder out along with his swift dodge.

Shigaraki stood up, wiping off the dust from the dagger he used his quirk that was lodged in his shoulder.

The two had a standoff for a few moments before it was ruined by Ryomen clearing his throat, having finished his meal as he pushed the plate over the counter to fall and shatter on the ground by Kurogiri.

"Fix that, Nomu." He said casually as he turned around to the two in their standoff. "As for you two… Stain, get out. It's clear you don't want to work with Shigaraki, so just beat it."

Stain narrowed his eyes at Sukuna before he sighed and sheathed the daggers he had pulled out and turned to face Shigaraki. "Boy. This isn't the last time we'll meet."

He turned and walked out of the building, slamming the door behind him as he did. Shigaraki stood there, breathing loudly and feeling agitated and annoyed, before he turned to the screen.

"Master. Give me some Nomu. I need to show that human stain his place. I'll destroy his city and then we'll see who's weakling!" he spat out, eyes bloodshot from the sheer anger he felt.

A sigh came from the television static, as if slightly disappointed in his request. Suddenly Sukuna cleared his throat before he could answer.

"All For One." He said, Shigaraki side eyeing Ryomen for calling him outright, "Lend us some Nomu. I'd like to send two, if not three, to some special locations, and why not give your boy here three as well." He said, slamming his hand onto Shigaraki's back, making him nearly fall over.

"Ryomen. You should be setting a good example for Shigaraki. Yet you join him at his ridiculous request?" The voice of All For One came from the screen.

"Consider letting the boy get his frustrations out. Or he could have a plan, I anyway have a target or two." Sukuna said as he went back to his seat before smirking. "Tell you what, Shigaraki, why don't you tell your master what you told me earlier."

Shigaraki looked at him wide eyed, not expecting him to bring that up.

"Well, Tomura? Do tell me. Do you have something in mind?" All For Ones said with a slight hint of interest in his protégé.

"Master… I need to just… I need to teach him a lesson, Stain can't disrespect us like-" Sukuna cut in with a comment of his own, "Who's us? You were the only one who was disrespected."

"The point is!..." he said over Sukuna's jab, "I want to disrespect him like he did to me. An eye for an eye, no?" he attempted to reason, more so with himself than with the man over the screen.

"... Fine. Six Nomu. Three for each." A loud groan came from All For One in the background as he asked, "And Shigaraki, do you have a plan that Sukunas mentioned?"

Shigaraki looked at the screen, glancing at Sukuna before he looked back at the blurry screen.

"... I plan… to get you a present. One that will return you to your glory master."
